They just let me take a sample with me after looking at my sad iPhone pictures of the existing countertops and hearing my feeble attempts to explain what we are trying to do. Sadly I didn't get the name of the extremely nice and helpful woman who assisted me at their store. She made contact with me when I entered found my order despite my lack of any information that a typical grown-up might have, and was knowledgable, helpful and took the time I needed to go over the materials and their cost. After we picked the material they had excellent follow-up, Daniel fabricated a mock-up and come to the house to put it in place so we can confirm that it is the shape and size we want. Once we confirm he will arrange to have the quartz material cut and is coordinating with our GC to get it installed. Overall they have impressed me greatly so far and I have no reason to doubt that the rest of my experience with them will continue to impress.

This type of project takes time, many decisions and lots & lots of measurements!! They were all gracious and patient. We had our original design, cabinets & counters all picked in Spring '24, then actually had a couple changes and fully ordered all in Sept '24. Christina recommended Antonio for cabinet install, who did an amazing professional job with "pride of workmanship" installation for us, even with a 1-day delay. THANK YOU!! I highly recommend, and Christina KNOWS HER WORK!! Trust her advice on fillers, and modifications needed, she really understands the end result!! Thanks to everyone there, and I'll be back! Yes, I whined (to myself and to my husband) about the cost of custom cabinets and granite at C&G Direct, but I'm super happy with the quality of the product that showed up at my doorstep a few weeks back. The rep we worked with, Anna, was on point from start to finish. She was quick to answer questions, helped us design a counter and cabinet structure that would work best for our daughters' bathroom and followed up with our contractor when one cabinet door arrived less than stellar. Their showroom is quite lovely and you can get a nice picture of what your potential kitchen/bath will look like when all is said and done. Yes, we paid extra for our white cabs, but the quality is there, it looks awesome with the new counters, and said cabinets were crafted just a few states over. #worthit

I've been thinking of remodeling my kitchen for at least 10 years. The process started by sitting…read moredown at Lowe's with one of their kitchen designers and getting a free layout and cabinet estimate. Over the next 10 years I took that Lowe's layout to no less than a dozen cabinet companies to get their pricing. The pricing always came in around $10,000+ (except for one importer who sold cheap, rather than good cabinets in a limited number of styles and colors. None of which we liked.) Then a month ago, driving north on Gary avenue in Carol Stream I just happened to spot this place and thought I'd try again to price out the Lowe's design because we were now ready to do something. I went into the place and immediately started walking around. I didn't wait for a sales person because I wasn't sure if I'd like the place and didn't want some fast-talking salesman to start accosting me for my business. I'd looked for a few minutes before I was approached by Jim, a pleasant older gentleman. He was nice so I told him what I was looking for and we casually discussed a few options. I told him I had the Lowe's kitchen design and he said he'd be happy to price it out with the cabinets I liked (he didn't want to see their pricing). I emailed him the design minus the prices and he came back with some design drawings. We talked some more over email and I asked him to stop by my house to see my kitchen. He did and we had a great conversation and we got ideas for other ways to do the kitchen. After looking at the kitchen, Jim put together everything we liked, added in the monthly manufacturer promotions, and ended up THOUSANDS less than any other quality cabinet place. So today we visited the showroom to go over every part of the cabinet order before putting down a deposit. After all was said and done, even after we added many pullout drawers, did some upgrading and getting some trim pieces (not on the original Lowe's design), he beat my 10 year old barebones Lowe's kitchen design price by over $1,500! I can't recommend Jim and this place strongly enough. (I'll let you know if things don't go smoothly once we receive the cabinets.)

My previous kitchen was nice, but the cabinets did not match and it was very dark. The process was easy, in my opinion. The carpenter came and made some adjustments (I replaced a few cabinets) while he took measurements. Jose did the bulk of the work on the refacing; he came early in the morning and worked hard all day. All of the individual contractors came to help with the countertops, backsplash and plumbing within a few weeks of the kitchen start. I was really without my kitchen for only 2 weeks. I was prepared for a much longer process and in full transparency, I do have a small kitchen. I am in love with my kitchen. It is bright and airy, and looks amazing. I found the cost to be reasonable. I would highly recommend CabinetPro.

I have been ignored by Jose and the management team for over a week despite my repeated attempts to resolve a botched installation. I grew up the granddaughter of a Stone Mason; I know quality work, and I know when a company is taking shortcuts. I specifically chose my stone because I was told it would NOT require a seam. Later in the process, the story changed. It became clear they simply didn't want to deal with the labor-intensive task of maneuvering a large slab into place--a job that might have required a minor wall repair but would have resulted in the superior finish I paid for. I only begrudgingly agreed to a seam because they promised it would be executed perfectly. My original fears were justified: it was a disaster. The issues: * Poor Craftsmanship: The seam is recessed and uneven. It is a functional defect that collects debris and requires constant scrubbing. * Lack of Effort: While I understand vein matching is difficult, there was clearly no attempt at a professional transition here.
