However, after multiple times…read morevisiting the store, I would offer 2 suggestions for a better customer service experience: 1) Learn how to spend more time and concentrated time with their customer and less time talking amongst themselves. Even if it's business discussion, it didn't need to happen when someone was actually serving a customer. At first I thought it just must be a very busy day, but even on a slow day, they have that bad habit. Multiple times I've seen this break in their concentration with their customer, it not only led to the customer feeling less important, it also resulted in their error in pricing or ordering and the customers had to remind the employee of correct details of the customer's wants or needs. As a customer, I like someone to pay close attention to all of my details. 2) I was told first 3-4 weeks for glasses and then told "up to 8 weeks." Just give an honest estimate and not an attempt to "just make the customer happy" by it arriving sooner. There's a huge difference from 4 weeks and then 8. The customer's needs should out-weigh their need to look good by stating, "it generally takes about 4 weeks and at 3 1/2-week mark, I'll follow up to check status and call you." Everyone knows that you can't control your vendors, but it's nice to know that you're important enough that the store will go the extra step for their customer. These days with many eyeglass vendors, It would be easy for a patron to use another store or go back to their Dr office for better customer service.

And fyi I would have gladly worn a mask if asked and I have been fully vaccinated. Yes this was from 9 months ago but I didn't post before now due to potential retaliation. Over the years we have been in dozens of eyeglass stores searching for one that had choices she liked and good customer support. NEO was beyond any of our previous experiences or expectations. I have never seen so many frames, styles, colors, shapes, etc. My wife was able to take frames to show her friends, and every time we came back there were new ones to look at. The owner of the store, Merv, was outstanding to work with. He assisted in choosing or commenting on frames when asked, but also allowed as much time as needed to browse and try frames on. He provided excellent advice on the lenses and spent time to ensure that the measurements and fit were right. This will definitely be our preferred eyeglass store in the future!
