To me it's kind of like a low key TJ Maxx but with a more "General Store" type of feel. With an interesting combination of products you can find anything from a Carthartt item to locally sourced jams and sauces. Just a mish-mash of everything with a New England down-home feel. The store is broken down into several different sections. In one part you can find brand new name-brand items from the aforementioned Carthartt, to LLBean, to Skechers, etc. Venture off a little further and you can find t-shirts 3 for $10. Go upstairs and you will find decently priced home goods alongside Lodge brand cast iron items. Last year I went there in search of an ice pack and I found a HUGE one - during the off season - for under $5. In the middle of the store they have a food and sundries section - the prices for some of the essentials pretty much rival those of the ones that I have found here in So Cal. You can also find items that have been created from the local Maine companies... wow, I could go on and on. A word of advice... if you see it and you like it, GET IT! I purchased some locally sourced herbs last year (The Blend, The Maine Accent) for $4.99 a jar - normally $12 online), came back in the spring and they didn't have it in stock. That was an awesome deal when I had it! The staff is friendly and helpful. The ambience is that of an old-timey general store. The prices on the off-brands are amazing! Trust me, I spend about $110 every time I visit and get 2 bag-fulls of items, then have to figure out how in the heck I'm going to get it back to SoCal. Totally worth it. Pretty sure they have several locations so if you are ever in Maine, do yourself a favor and check Reny's out!!!

The salon has a wonderful vibe and esthetic for young women to discover their style and explore different hairstyles. The people who work there are friendly and welcoming. They pay attention to each customer's specific needs, making sure to care for them in a way that feels comfortable and easy so they can be themselves. Every time my daughter has an appointment she leaves feeling so good about herself, and is so happy - this is a such a gift! The appointment scheduling is easy, and they do text appointment reminders and confirmations, and it is easy to reschedule if needed. The prices are the average of what one would pay anywhere for hair services...they definitely are not more expensive than other places. The only slightly negative thing is they do seem to recommend a lot of hair products...and at our last visit...they recommended $150 worth of products...and one product...a small bottle of some kind of styling gel was $53 by itself. This seems a bit excessive. When I declined to purchase, there was no attitude or pressure to reconsider....Thank goodness!

I highly recommend Shine, and Iralys in particular, for an outstanding experience that will leave you feeling empowered, confident, and heavily complimented! Just be careful if you're driving yourself home, because you're going to want to take selfies.

To say this store is disorganized is a major understatement. They may seem under staffed, but the…read moreemployees who were working that day were off doing who knows what. My wife and I walk in to do a Passport photo. There appears to be only one male worker in the front, but he has a few customers looking to check out at the front. He uses the overhead speaker system to request assistance in Photo. He helps a few customers, while we wait in photo, and then he makes a second announcement when he can't step away from the register. No one responded to either request for assistance. He finally has time and proceeds to help us. Photo is taken, first kiosk he uses to edit the photo stops working and he has to move to new kiosk. He has trouble loading SD card onto second kiosk and then he can't find the photo. I found it for him. He edits the photo and then sends it to the printer. As he tries to print the label for the order, he is locked out and needs a password reset. So he calls for a female (likely Manager) to assist over the radio (CB radio). She doesn't come to the Photo center. We wait 2 minutes and he radios her again, still she doesn't respond. Another female employee in a plan shirt (no Walgreen logo shirt) and she offers to assist but then states she is locked out and needs a password reset. At this point a Passport photo has taken over 15+ minutes which includes waiting time. A male employee, who seems fairly tech savvy, enters the photo center and he is able to login and check us out. This store is one of the worse I have seen. I understand there are staff shortages, but when an employee asks for assistance 4 times, and no one responds, that is either their own refusal to assist, or they were busy doing something that they couldn't stop by policy (unlikely). I looked at the rear mirror that helps you see the backside of the store and I couldn't locate another employee anywhere so they must have been in off the main floor. To top this entire experience off, the passport photo take is borderline non-compliant, but we will only find out if the Passport agency notifies us it cannot be accepted. So we spent 15 minutes to get a passport photo and my wife's Passport application could be rejected simply because of a poor passport photo we paid $17 for.

Who do I contact with a complaint about Walgreens Pharmacy in Augusta?…read more I called them on Tuesday to have a prescription transferred and they said it would be available on Wednesday for pickup. My husband has stopped in every day and they keep telling him come back the next day. Bad enough they had me on hold for 25 minutes when I called, but they told me they had it in stock when I called on Tuesday. Liars. Now they are saying come back Monday. This was a total waste of time. I wouldn't use this pharmacy again if it was the last one left.
