Unfortunately, the management of the project was less than. I expected more communication. We were told several times when the manager could not make a meeting or was rushing there to meet for 10min, they were just "so busy with their other projects." Even the owner came at the end to look at a few things and didn't say one word besides hello. Honestly, we are still waiting on them to find a solution to paint on the custom oven hood and I doubt we will ever hear from them. Guess they are just writing off the small payment that's left. We have friends all over Southside and it's a shame that we cannot recommend this company because people ask all the time.

After months of dealing with demo and setbacks with mold, lead and asbestos we were very jaded and wondered if the house would ever be restored to its former glory. We had multiple friends who worked with Lane homes for their renovations and they all recommended them highly. Ed Lane came out in June 2023 six months after the flood once demo was complete. He was professional, knowledgeable, super communicative and set our minds at ease. Work began in July and we were told to expect it to last four months. In my mind I hoped it would be complete by Thanksgiving. We have lived in several homes over the years and used several different contractors and have NEVER finished a renovation a month ahead of schedule!!!! We just finished the end of project walk through today with our project manager Kevin Joyner and we are honestly a bit sad that we won't see Kevin and his team around here on a daily basis. Kevin went above and beyond the call of duty. He is EXTREMELY thorough and a complete perfectionist. He and his team were so communicative. He returned our calls/texts any time of day, night and on the weekends. We always knew what to expect the following day; who would be on site and when they would arrive and depart. I can honestly say in this months long process there was not a wasted day or lag time. Kevin is meticulously and expects the same out of his crews. From the painters, to the plumbers and finish carpenter each Lane employee was a delight to work with. If we ever move or renovate down the road we will use Lane Homes for all our remodeling needs. If every company was as honest, thorough and easy to work with as Lane there would be a lot less frustration in the world! The designer listened to our vision and came up with a beautiful plan that stayed in our budget. She even came with me to pick out appliances, countertops and light fixtures. I couldn't have done it myself without hiring an interior designer. Every workman in our home was courteous and professional! I always felt comfortable with the people in the house. The crews cleaned up every day and made the process as painless as possible, as we stayed in the house during the renovation. The workmanship and attention to detail was top-notch. I highly recommend Lane Homes! This was the 2nd project we have had them do and we will definitely use them for any future renovation needs!

We needed to have other work completed before moving onto the retaining wall so I asked if we could reach back out at the time and they said that was fine. As soon as I followed up they were able to come out within the week and finished that day. Very easy to work with and straightforward. Will contact them again for future work.

We hired 804 Restore to do an epoxy floor in our basement and it was the worst decision we ever…read moremade. There were seams in the floor, mind you these types of floors are supposed to be seamless. Areas that started bubbling up less than a month after install. No protection of surrounding walls and windows so there is exoxy splatter all over the place. A one year warranty was offered and after notifying Scott and his team about the issues he pushed off the repair work to almost the end of our year warranty. I'm assuming he did this in an attempt to get any additional repair work out of the warranty period. If you care about quality, peace of mind and an honest contractor then do not hire this company for anything. If I could've given less than one star I would have.
