I loved pro nails, however this time was a hot mess, I got a manicure and dip manicure even though I got a manicure maybe a week ago. They acted annoyed I came back to get a manicure when it makes them more money so I didn't understand that... but my pedicure was okay. then for my dip manicure she rushed to do it and I have gotten dip before but left with residue staining around my nails, she said it would come off after a little bit but acted irritated when I asked if she could fix it so I didn't have residue on my fingers. The location of this place is dangerously good!!!! It is right next to The Good Food Store, Big Y and Starbucks AND the liquor store! So basically if you are in need of a get-ready-quick, you are near all your necessities (food, coffee and alcohol) with a side of pampering. The employees here are soooo nice and personable! They make an effort to make sure your experience is hassle-free and positive. They greet you in such a genuine manner and pay such close attention to detail. Although the business may be a little smaller than other salons, I found it to make my experience more relaxing and enjoyable. I don't usually leave reviews however I am disappointed. The Pros- I went to pro nails a few days ago in a pinch and they were busy so it seemed optimistic. They were very Nice to get me I'm on short notice and I had only 20 mins of waiting which wasn't bad! Cons- Once I left and looked at my gel nails outside, they looked awful, the paint was all over my cuticles, it was very sloppy work. Within a few days two nails peeled right off. I am so disappointed in Pro Nails. I have been going there for years and recently things have really slipped. I had a horrible manicure last week with Tina. She was rude and clearly bothered by the fact I only wanted a manicure and not a gel manicure or a pedicure or anything more expensive. So she decided to just do the bare minimum. She didn't cut my nails to even them out as I asked, she just ran a dull file over them. Tina pointed to the sink instead of asking me to wash my hands, and she got polish all over my cuticles and had no interest in cleaning it up. The only good part was she ran out the door giggling as I dried. So I didn't have to listen to her talking to her co workers ( probably about me ). I would never see her again. I went back today for a pedicure. I was prepared to refuse if they offered me Tina. Luckily I got someone else. It was the fasted pedicure ever. The didn't exfoliate my legs and I barely put any lotion on with no hot towel or massage at all. After my 15 minute pedicure I got my nails done and asked for her to try and fix a cracked nail. She put some glue on it but it didn't hold and she just painted over it. Disappointing to say the least. Guess it's time to find a new place who wants a loyal customer. read more

They are pretty fast too, which I appreciate. But be aware that if you are paying by card you have to tip in cash. I have been going to Pro Nails for years now and I have nothing but praise to say about this nail salon! They are very personable and gentle here...I have been to places where some have made my cuticles bleed. The gel here is a good price and every time I get them I am guaranteed great nails for two weeks. When getting a pedicure they never fail! The atmosphere is spa like. It is calming and VERY CLEAN!!! I also get my waxing done here and once again...GREAT PRICES! I was skeptical to get my eyebrows done at a nail salon but I am glad I made the decision 3 years ago to start getting them done here. I have never gotten a wax burn and they always ask before they do any further plucking. During prom season or when the weather gets nice I would definitely call ahead to ask about the wait and/or schedule an appointment. This is only a review for dip manicures with Sang. WOW!!! I often find my dip manicures look too thick and uneven, not here! They always look perfect and Sang is great about making sure i'm happy with length, shape, and color before charging ahead. She also accepts tip on Venmo which is so helpful if you don't carry cash. Best nail place in the area. Nothing fancy, but comfortable and clean. Girls don't talk much, even to each other (which makes my mom paranoid). The woman working on my French manicure (pic posted) was fast but careful, going back to correct cuticles and double checking for an even shape. The technique for the French tips was new to me, she painted half my nail white then removed the excess to shape with what looked like a rounded concealer brush., then added the sheer pink color over. This made the most even tips I've ever had! (And I'm a bit neurotic about my nail tips), all my other French tips were painted on with a teeny brush instead - this way is far better, and faster. Good price, efficient service, and pretty nails, what more can a girl ask for? read more

They are fast and do a great job with gel manicures, regular manicures and pedis. I also get my eyebrows waxed here. I wish you could tip on your credit card. I get shellac manicures and they last around 2-3 weeks and really only need to be redone due to nail growth. I got my eyebrows waxed there recently and they did a great job. They seem to have a lot of customers come in for eyebrow waxing. Reasonable prices and I have never waited more than a couple minutes. I used to go to Nails & Co. in Norwood and frankly Pro Nails does a better manicure at a better price ($12 vs. $18). At $12 a weekly manicure is a no-brainer. The salon is clean, pretty and the nail techs all appear to have worked there a while as there is really no turnover that I can see. The color selection on the polish is pretty good not super fashion forward but not boring either. All of the techs equally good; my nails are really soft however my Pro Nails manicures have been lasting a solid week with no chipping - a miracle! One nice bit of decor are the real orchids placed around the slaon. They are beautiful and add a lovely touch. I like to admire them while I'm under the nail dryer. Disappointed...I've been going to pro nails for a few years now. I asked for a manicure today. The woman doing my nails kept asking me if I wanted a gel manicure. I politely declined. A few minutes later she asked me again. She did a terrible job on my nails. There are bubbles under the nail polish and black dust specks. I was then sitting at the dryer and she came over in the middle of the dry cycle to tell me that my nails were dry. I look behind me to see she had another client with her who needed the dryer. Clean and very nice shellac manicures and spa pedicures. Some times it's hard to match the gel nail polish to a regular toe polish and I find that they don't have a lot of colors that are on the sample nails, but overall it's a nice clean affordable place for shellac nails and a pedi. read more

I recently went here to get my eyebrows waxed and will NOT be returning. First of all they bring you into a back room lay you down onto a table covered in towels that are not changed per customer so god knows how long these towels are on the table for which is not sanitary. Then the woman was on her cell phone while I am laying there waiting for her to get off the phone, instead of hanging the phone up she continued to talk on her cell phone WHILE waxing my eye brows. She took time with my horrendous cuticles, and was meticulous with the paint and prep work.
