I remember coming here a couple of years ago but couldn't remember why I never came back as the place is clean and the staffers I encountered the first time provided good service. Well I guess I remember that the quality of work was subpar. I requested a dip French manicure and French pedicure. The pedicure was not bad and the tech asked me how thin I wanted the white part which was good but as soon as I got in the chair for my manicure, it went downhill from there. I was trying to tell him how I wanted the shape as I'm very particular about my almond shaped nails. Every time I motioned to say something about MY NAILS, he would tap my hand away and dare I say hit my hand, basically telling me to stop and just wait for him to finish. The job was sloppy and not smooth. I was not happy and of course I was way overcharged. I can pay for something if the quality matches the price but this was simply not the case so footing this bill left me sick! By day two, I couldn't believe what my nails looked like and they were already cracking. I never have this issue at my current nail salon. And such a shame because this place is closer to me, NEVER AGAIN.

The prices are super reasonable and the quality has been phenomenal. I can't recommend Ty Son enough. He's been working on fun incredible designs and different styles for my nails. He's attentive and dedicated to every detail. I have gotten regular manicures, gel manicures, acrylic (with tips), dip powder (with and without tips), and builder gel (with tips). Builder Gel is currently my favorite and worth the extra because they last longer and have less damage to the nails. I can't wait to go back in a few weeks for my next set.

The question remained which one do I choose. So...I chose Happy Nails (because who doesn't want to be happy)!! Right? Proud of myself because I was so impressed! Salon is immaculate and instruments were sanitized. Kim, the owner, was very welcoming. I had two colors in mind that I wanted for the my nail design. She suggested a different combination and she was right! But Kathy, who did my nails, was fabulous! She spent 20 minutes on a foot and leg massage that was soooo relaxing. I could have really zoned out were it not for the woman sitting next to me who needed to be on her phone saying OK about 15 times. I digress...Kathy designed a lovely blue and white flower with green vines and sparkles on my big toes. I love it!! I'm going back! Great service, friendly smiles..this visit made me very ...well...happy!
