It was a Saturday and many places were closing soon already; luckily Precious Nails & Spa was able to take me in + only 10 min away from where I was coming from, Legacy Place in Dedham. I checked in at their check-in tablet kiosk and took that receipt with me (need to take in order to pay after). The technician I had was Ruby, and she was the sweetest! She did my nails pretty fast and efficiently. Kept making sure I was good with every step she did, which I appreciated. I did a pink and white french gel acrylic set and it came up to $70 (not including tip). Lots of parking outside--Located on Prov Hwy in Norwood. If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. This salon has gone downhill and their service has gotten horrible. I was one of their first clients and they used to be so good! But over the years the customer service and quality has went all the way downhill. They overcharge and the quality has become terrible! This is the last time I ever step foot into this salon. I did a gel pedicure and full set, with no designs or extra length, medium length with a regular painted tip. I was charged over $200 and the nails were terrible!! When I emailed the salon the didn't even offer to fix them or at least refund some of my money to make up for how bad this was. So if you want to be overcharged for bumpy, thick, unnatural looking nails, go here. read more

For the last few months, I've been waiting 20-30 minutes after my appointment to be seen, and in the meantime they have some random technician wrap my nails. So my nails are sitting in acetone for 20-30 minutes. That's not healthy for your nails whatsoever. The service has really gone down hill. They rush to the point that my dip manicure has been done in 25 minutes. The space is so cute - with a huge array of nail polish colors to choose from, all of the recognizable brands, and they introduced me to my new favorite brand (omg love Honey Pham!) I have been going to Dana for almost two years and she goes above and beyond my expectations every time. There is no design she cannot do, no pattern she can't create, and she makes art come to life on my nails. She is kind, patient, and so funny! I went here today. The salon is spacious and clean. It is a big salon. This review is for a regular pedicure only. **this service came with hot stones (I didn't know this!). Cons: paint job isn't great. There were polish left on my both of my toes and on top of that, paint was totally missed at the edges. Pros: Booking was easy via online and so was check in. I love that they allow other form of payment such as Venmo. The salon is in a plaza and parking. The salon and staffs that I've encountered were great but I only gave 3 stars because I was expecting more from all the good reviews. Do not request Emma. My mom and I have been going here every month for years and usually love the work done here. I went last night and this new tech Emma cut the skin around my nails, told me my skin was bad and made me feel about my feet during a pedicure (to the point I had tears in my eyes), and painted my nails the wrong color. I asked her to change the color and she didn't take the old color off, just painted the new color over. I told the manager and asked for a new tech to change, but they only let me change the pedicure and not the manicure, and Emma came up and started questioning me while I was getting them redone by another tech. Super uncomfortable, usually you want to feel nice when leaving a salon not worse. Now I need to pay more money to get a gel change somewhere else on my nails. No refund was given either read more
