This is my third time coming to this nail salon, and once again my nails looked nothing like the picture I showed. They always seem rushed, and they cannot deliver the nail art customers request. The nail technician was very rude, and as a customer, I felt uncomfortable speaking up about my concerns. The set in the picture cost me $165, which is extremely disappointing considering the quality of the work. After today's experience, I promised myself 1 will never return to this salon, nor will I recommend it to anyone I know. I have consistently had bad experiences here. My daughter also had her nails done here. As soon as we left the salon, she said, "Mommy, I want to take my nails off. I'm embarrassed to have these nails on me." That was heartbreaking to hear and speaks volumes about the quality of the service. I would not recommend this salon based on my experiences. read more

Terrible service with booking. The salon posted they were taking walk ins and they had availability so my friend referred me to lex. When I called to confirm the walk in , I spoke with Kayla. She was on the phone for 6 minutes asking for my information to start a profile when I only asked about walkins. I allowed her to take my information understanding that's probably their protocol. She then told me they had availability within the never 2.5 hrs. I asked if I could just walk in and for some reason it was such a difficult call. Okay, so my first time going here and I decided it had to be on Yelp so that you can all find this review and discover this amazing nail salon! That, and because they truly deserve the praise. The place is run by 22 year old Lexi and really, it is one of the cleanest and most aesthetically pleasing nail salon I have ever been to. I was searching for a great nail tech who did Gel-X, as not many salons do it. Came across this salon through their Instagram. Lux.by.lex . The work posted on there was breathtaking, so of course I booked my appointment for the same day! It's very small, but cozy. The pedicure station was my absolute favorite! Super cute chairs and pillows. Loved the environment. I got a Gel-x manicure and a gel pedicure with French Tip. They used the cutest base. Opi- Bare my soul. Once my nail tech Christie put it on, I immediately decided I wanted to keep my nails with just the base because it was the prettiest color I had ever seen on my nails! It's like the perfect shade of nude for you. Christie did an excellent job. All the ladies were really nice. My total was 145$. So, a bit on the pricey side but so worth the price. Extremely clean space and Lex the owner is amazing. She's serious about her business and her craft and it makes me proud to see such a young woman taking her career and business so seriously. My nails whether I have an overlay or not never break. She's all about natural nail health even if you use gel-x or acrylic you're nails have little to no damage once removed. I honestly don't know how she does it. 5 stars isn't enough when it comes to Lex. She is booked a lot so I say try to call in advance as much as possible. (Maybe even a month if you know you have something planned) she also gives great pedicures my feet are baby smooth. read more

Lexi has been doing my nails for 3+ years and I can honestly say that Lux By Lex is the best nail salon. The salon itself is beautiful and clean with comfortable chairs. There's a large selection of gel polishes and acrylic powders. If you can't find the color you're looking for, the techs can make a custom blend for you! All the nail techs are so talented and friendly. Every time I leave, I am so happy with my nails whether it be a mani or pedi. The booking system is seamless and they accept contactless payment.
