Walked in here thinking I had an appointment, but realized I was at the wrong "Nail Studio." This is ROUGE nail studio. Glad I messed up! They welcomed me without appointment. Not to mention, I was there to remove a horrible gel mani. I got at another place just a week ago. They were so kind, I decided to get a pedi too Mae(?sp) did such a great job. The salon was flexible with making an appointment and had availability as well as dazzle dry polish. But the nail technician was not friendly and spoke in another language to her colleagues the entire time. I tried to start conversation, like some of her colleagues had with their clientele, but she wasn't interested and her lack of attention to me as a human was disheartening, which will not have me returning. My daughter enjoyed her pedicure but the polish already chipped (day 2) and it was also dazzle dry. The place was cute, but the service left much to be desired. read more

I've been going to Rouge for a couple years now and the girls are always so open to ideas and they deliver wonderful services every time. They've been open to feedback each time and are so thoughtful and thorough. I also treat myself to a monthly pedicure here and I always leave feeling so refreshed and relaxed. The staff are so kind and caring. One thing I'd really like to point out is that I've recently been asking for nail art designs and they are always so eager to learn how to accomplish what I want when it's new and to show the other techs how to do it. My husband and I came here to get pedicures done today on 5/31. We've never been here before decided to try it out since they had decent ratings. Tammy ended up being my nail tech and she did a good job. However, I didn't appreciate the shit talking that was done about me and my husband. Mind you I am vietnamese myself so the fact she didn't consider that is crazy to me. She complimented on my ring but follow up with a back handed respond in vietnamese wondering if its two carat or not. During our service my husband was also curious about the tools they used as she used a buffer that we never seen before so he was just wondering what it did. Her talking in vietnamese saying "why he asking so much questions" but in a rude tone. In addition, while he was getting the hot stone massage he asked if I got the same. She proceed to respond in vietnamese again to say "I already did it for your wife, what's with all the questions." Like why does it matter why he is asking? The last draw for me was her massaging my legs and ONCE again speaking in vietnamese saying "I'm a girl but my legs are not nice." Needless to say, this will be my first and last time spending my money here. Just imagine what is said about non asian clients. Super unprofessional and so beware to current and future clients, they are probably talking about you. read more

I use to get my nails done here a few years ago but I started doing it myself but went back recently to get my toes done. Got the Gel French Manicure and the service and quality was great. I can honestly say that my toes haven't looked this good in a while. Shout out to Kim for doing such a great job! The place is super cute and very clean. Talk about vibes. This salon is so freaking cute. The atmosphere is quite modern with a different take on "traditional" pedicure chairs. Instead, there's a long comfortable cushioned bench with fluffy pillows and beautiful pedicure bowls. Even the website is modern and easy to use to book appointments of all varieties. The staff were incredibly accommodating as well and even encouraged me to get gel extensions which I've never got before but were a great choice. Both the pedicure and gel extension manicure were meticulous and came out beautifully. I work as a nurse and I felt so pampered! Definitely going to recommend to all my friends and will be returning. read more

New nail studio in Dedham! First impressions: this place is GORGEOUS. Kristie did an amazing job designing this space. I loved how clean and tranquil the atmosphere felt. Best of all, they have sooo many colors of polish to choose from. Service: Amazing! My nail technician took great care and time into ensuring my nails looked great. They were pretty beat up after two weeks of vacation walking around and frolicking in the sand, but she freshened up both my hands and feet. I did just regular polish on my toes and couldn't help noticing how impeccable the paint job was. I also did a plain ol' manicure with no polish and was gushing for days about how much I loved my mani. I saw that they offer Dazzle Dry, a quick drying gel alternative polish, and I can't wait to give that a try. I will definitely be back and absolutely recommend this place! read more

This is my second time here and I am always extremely happy with my service at Rouge. Booking was super easy - made an appointment online which was confirmed via text. The nail studio is beautifully decorated, modern, impeccably clean and sanitary. The place is quite spacious, there is plenty of room on the manicure table and seats are well spaced out. They have an enormous selection of colors from a variety of brands and displayed on very organized walls. I opted for a pedicure and gel manicure and was really pleased with how my nails came out. My nail artist was very meticulous with my cuticles and polish application. The staff is friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place! Will be back soon! read more

That's SO rare to find a nail salon where every employee is talented enough that you can walk in and just be happy with whoever is available or who is open when you book a session. I am so particular with my nails probably too picky to be honest, and I've gone to places all over MA for the last 15 years. This place has been my new home and I couldn't be happier! Outrageously expensive for mid level service. First and last time going there. They are not up front with any additional add on services. They asked during a pedicure if they wanted to do my calluses, I agreed because I thought it was just part of the pedicure. That was an extra $15. Then when I was picking a nail color she guided me to the more expensive nail polish without telling me. I didn't know that was going to cost me an extra $10. I fully understand services costing more, but offering these services without alerting the customer of price seems like they were pulling a fast one on me. read more

I have no idea why this nail salon has such good reviews! Not only was the gel manicure awful but I was disgusted by how dirty the technicians nails were. I would think that personal hygiene ( at least as far as the hands) would be the minimal requirement of someone working on your hands. 0 stars for dip powder. The way the lady made it, was ridiculous. I thought they were pulling a prank on me when they said it was done. Just for the reference: if you look from the top on my nails, you couldn't see the skin on the side. That's how thick the coating was, I've never had it that bad before. It took them forever to file it all down. Forever. I wish I had taken the picture when it was done so I could post it. That was really like a good ol' joke. I wish I could give it 0 stars, but I have to give them 1 star for the pedicure. The pedicure was really good, I'm still impressed. I wish they resolved the issue With my my nails though. I booked an appointment right before I had to go on vacation, and they just filed that disaster down and didn't even offer to fix it. I left the salon really upset, after paying a reeeeeally high price for the pedicure. Went to the Obsession nearby, and will be going back to Obsession again and again. The nail technician had very dirty nails and hands. She did not wear gloves and I felt so uncomfortable having someone like that touch my hands. Why would a nail technician have such dirty nails ?
