I am done with them. Their quality has gone down hill. I went last week for a dip on my fingertips. Within two days 3 fingers were already chipping. She only dipped twice instead of 3 times. I went back and a different girl cut all the broken nails very short and no dip just polish so they dont even look the same. The girl was in a hurry to leave and was in her car before I was. The last three times I've gone the girls have their phones beside them watching a movie or something. Very unprofessional and terrible work read more

Had an appointment 930 when it opens the doors were locked and a worker did not show up till 950. The worker made two of my fingers bleed, told me my nails were crooked and she cant fix that (not sure how my natural nails can be crooked), had to ask three times to make the nails on both hands the same length and even then they were not. I love this salon! They take their time with all the goodies like hot stone treatments, hand and foot massages! For some reason, the nail polish does not chip as quickly as most places. I got a pedicure here today and I really can't complain about much other than the fact that there were only 2 people working so I had to wait for a little to get my pedicure but I was a walk-in, so that is to be expected. The person who did my pedicure was very friendly though there was a bit of a language barrier. The other person, who I believe to be the Owner was very nice and I liked how she treated me and the other customers in the shop. She offered me a drink, adjusted my seat and made sure to communicate with me regarding the wait time. They don't sanitize their tools like I'm used to but I fully expect this at local nail salons (sorry). The pedicure was fine, she nicked me twice but I didn't bleed. The paint job is ok, maybe 7 out of 10. They have a very large selection of OPI polish in many different colors. Took me awhile to choose. Didn't see the fall collection until I was on my way out. Yesterday, my friend and I walked into Saigon Nails to treat ourselves to some fancy acrylic + gel manicures. We were greeted the second we walked in the door and were helped right away. I have honestly never had a more perfect manicure. Rose was very attentive and didn't bat an eye when I asked if she could throw a design on a couple of my nails. Went in there and was told it was a 15 minute wait, so I waited. When she asked me whether I wanted round or square shape, I said I just wanted it the natural shape of my nails. She told me I wasn't listening and asked if I wanted round or square. Again, I said I wanted a natural shape. Then she filed a nail that was completely uneven and I told her it was uneven and she got angry and got up, told me that she wasn't going to do my nails. Glad this happened because the place was so dirty and clearly unsanitary. The tools she was starting to use on me had clearly already been used on someone else and hadn't been cleaned. My nails require more time/patience because they are short due to my bad habit of nail biting, and I appreciated her attention to detail and patience. My daughter left here with multiple bleeding fingers after being cut during a manicure that took more than an hour. At one point the polish was smeared all over her fingers and then wiped away. Perhaps the manicurist was in training, but she shouldn't be allowed to work on clients until she knows her craft. We'll be on the lookout for infection. I have been coming to Saigon Nails for over 6 years. Each of the nail technicians are extremely detailed, patient, and meticulous. I have never left the salon feeling like my nails were "just off". My gel manicures last well into 3 weeks, much longer than when I get them done at salons in Downtown Boston. Kim is incredibly nice, friendly, and will make you feel like her #1 customer. The salon is clean, the pedicures are very relaxing, and the service is the best you will find in the Boston area. It was my first time trying this nail salon for dipping powder manicure and honestly I wasn't a fan. The manicurist barely gave me a manicure, I noticed that she just touched my hand here and there, not even for a full 5 minutes and she was already done with my hands. Supposedly dipping powder is suppose to last you up to 2-3 weeks, but I literally got my hands done on Tuesday and by Friday my right hand was already chipping off! it didn't even last for more than a week, it's so disappointing :/. Especially when dipping powder is so much more pricy than gel too, I was expecting to have them look good for a while. read more

I love my manicures/fills by Carol. I'm always surprised that I can usually get a same day appointment because this place is great. Excellent service and reasonable prices. They're open on Mondays unlike most salons. Parking can be challenging at lunch time, but it's really not that bad. There is a parking lot just around the corner. I had nail polish all on the skin around my nails and underneath my nails so my skin was sticking to my nails. I asked him to remove it and he did a poor job at that as well. Deciding at the last minute to get a pedicure this was the third place I tried and was accepted immediately. I waited for ten minutes and it surely was well worth it. The chair was amazing on it's own, my back was sore from gardening and after half an hour I was good as new! The pedi was wonderful,I didn't get the lady's name but she was very attentive, thorough and careful. Soaked, scrubbed, brushed, massaged and finally painted, I felt good as new and my nails and feet look great. $24 total, I will be back. read more

Came here for the 2nd time ever and had a great pedicure. Love that they're open on a Monday as many others aren't. They are very affordable. The tubs have liners so much more sanitary (disclosure: I work in the medical field and have seen many a bad infection from these places...buyers beware). Place is super clean. I was visiting my folks from NYC and popped in for a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. 3 weeks after that visit my manicure was still flawless, but since my nails had grown I had to get them redone around me. Only a week later and the gel from the place by me had already worn off, it was such a waste!! Luckily I was making a trip back to visit my folks and stopped in to Saigon Nails! Went today with my mom - we both got mani/pedis. My mom absolutely loved them and so did I. They were very attentive and the pedicure was complete with a hot stone and oil massage. The salon was clean and did not smell at all of chemicals. And, Ming who did my gel manicure did a perfect job and was so sweet. I'll definitely be going back again, but it wasn't the cheapest place. I ended up paying about $100 for both of us with tip included. But, it's nice for a pre-vacation or big event treat. Other reviews said it's affordable...but I guess that's relative. read more

Not the worst I've ever been to (no blood was drawn) but still pretty bad. Walked in here on a Thursday afternoon with my friend, she'd been here before and had a fine experience. I don't know the name of the woman who worked on my nails, but I know it was not Rose, who is mentioned in some of the positive reviews I read. My aesthetician did not speak or understand a lick of English (or Spanish) so I could not communicate anything to her that she would understand. She started with my pedicure, the water in the foot bath was literally scalding. I could not touch my feet to it and I was telling her it was too hot but as I said, there was no channel of communication. The woman working on a patron next to me got my message and adjusted the temperature, which I was appreciative of. However, it was then far too cold since she left the cold water running and my woman did not turn it off. In no way was I trying to shame this woman for not speaking English, but I truly could not get my message across to her and that would prove to be an issue. She cut my toenails down so short and then proceeded to file them to the point where I was wincing in pain. I was trying to make it clear that I was uncomfortable via facial expressions and the fact that I was flinching in pain should have been clear. She filed my nail to the nerve at which point I told her to stop, and again the woman working on a different customer came to my rescue. She made my toenails super round which was odd, but at the end the polish still looked nice and my feet were smoother. We then moved on to my manicure. She did everything fine until it came time to actually shape the nails; they were all different. Some round, some square. I tried to motion and communicate to her to make them more even, but the other woman was not around to save me so my nails just stayed uneven. By the time it came to paint my nails, I didn't have high hopes. She didn't paint the edges of my nails on either hand. I tried to demonstrate this to her to which she responded by moving my hand over the fan to dry them. Like I said, I just could not communicate to her and I guess she couldn't read my gestures or she just didn't care. My nails looked like I'd done them myself. Overpriced even if it had been a good job, which it wasn't. Should've gone to lovely nails in Dedham. Won't be back. read more
