Update: I don't think I'll go anywhere else. This is my favorite place. They know exactly how I like it and they are so skilled too.

I didn't have an appointment here and needed a place to get my nails done while busing Boston. Candice was very sweet and immediately seated me during a rainy afternoon, and consulted with me on the colors. She's a professional, through and through and meticulously removed my old gel, shaped them and gave my this new color. Super happy with the result and will be back if I'm ever in Boston.

I have been coming to this salon since last year and initially had good experience with this place. However, my more recent experience with the customer service has been very disappointing. The online platform is extremely confusing for making a reservation. The services are listed in weird ways and pricing is unclear when you need customization. I made a same day reservation online today for a gel manicure with removal of current work. One our before the service, the store called me and complained that I did the reservation wrong online and tell me to call next time or book through wechat. I told them i did try to communicate via wechat last time to request for a technician, no one responded. And i prefer to book online. The store did not explain to me how to better navigate their poorly designed web interface and make a reservation online to best represent the services i need. Instead I felt scolded by the person on the phone and felt bad vibes from them. There was no patience or attempt to help with the confusing situation. I encourage the store to update their online reservation platform to be more clear and user friendly or just get rid of it if it's not working well instead of blaming their customers for it. I canceled my booking and do not plan on returning to this business that clearly lacks good management and customer service quality.

Second time I get my nails done here and they didn't disappoint! Since we recently moved to Boston I have been looking for a nice place to have my nails done and have had some disastrous experiences in other salons with nail polish pealing one week into my manicure, nails breaking and so on. At Tinailery the ladies are nice, they know their stuff and the whole experience is pleasant and pain-free (yes I've had painful manicures before where they file into your finger or the acetone burnt my skin!) Here the ladies are wizards with the colors and patterns and I feel the price tag is well deserved (yes the prices are a bit high but if you don't want to/ have to go every 3 weeks, it's fine!) All in all highly recommend!

Phenomenal. The attention to detail that hazel paid to my nails was so appreciated. It's been a long time since I had a manicure that I felt like I was truly taken care of. Highly recommend.

Cammie kills it everytime! It takes me a while to get to Brookline but I totally worth it!

Love this new nail spa in Boston! The exterior is so nice and cute. It's actually a Japanese nail spa which they do Japanese nail arts and they have organic nail polishes! When I first came in I immediately just said I wanted to do some gel nails but then I noticed the cute designs and nails arts they have. I still ended up getting the regular gel they have tho. When I sat they gave me a tea which was super nice. I've never been to a nail spa that serves you tea while getting a manicure. The girl who did my nail was pretty fast look less than an hour to finish my nails. After getting it done I paid $45 for the service. Kind of pricey but it's okay. I want to do some designs next time but the price is really high but I think it's reasonable for the effort they do. For now maybe I'll just grow my nails first for it to do justice on the design. But the lady that I gave the payment to explained to me the stuff they have and all the ways on how to book an appointment and stuff cause t takes a long time to do the design on the nails Anyways. Very much recommended and would love to go back for some cool nail designs

Hands down the best place in Boston for Asian style nail art. I booked an appointment for medium difficulty nail art after stalking their Instagram feed for ages. I took a few candidate photos as a reference because I had no idea what the difficulty standards were. They have a bunch of nail art magazines so I ended up finding a really pretty set that matched the medium difficulty cap. Phoebe was super patient and thorough & such a great person to chat with! I was more than happy with the results, not to mention they've held up well for weeks without a single chip. Tinailery is definitely expensive compared to what you can get in Asia but for what they offer here, I think the prices are more than reasonable. Taking a break from gel manicures for a while, but I can definitely see myself coming back as a regular customer.

// overall I will definitely be coming back. There aren't a lot of places in Boston proper that offer nail art and I am so thrilled to have found Tinailery. Tinailery is not just a normal nail salon. The attention to detail, skill, and ambiance make this salon one of the best that I've been to in Boston proper (and believe me, I've tried a majority of them). I am paying for the longevity of this manicure and the cute nail design, and it was totally worth it. // space and service The space was small, but quaint. Tastefully decorated, creating a relaxing atmosphere. They offered flowery tea when you sat down, and the space was filled without feeling overly crowded. The ladies that worked there were extremely polite, skilled, and attentive. // manicure I chose a simple nail art that I found on Pinterest. My cuticles were a mess and my nails were in need of a good cut and shape (they needed a lot of work). My manicures do tend to last longer than average, and I anticipate these lasting at least 3 weeks, if not 4. Phoebe did my nails and was extremely attentive. She was thorough and extremely patient with my out-of-control cuticles and had an attention to detail to each of my nails that I have never experienced before at any nail salon. She's great! I made sure I walked in as soon as they opened because I did not have an appointment. They were eager to take me in for a simple nail art manicure which is greatly appreciated!

Pretty Christmas style. By Sayuri and Cammie.

Best ever nail art design place I've ever met in North America. I went for multiple times and every time, they are caring about your nail health and requests. Check out photos of my nails from them, they last months with no issues. 5 star of nail design and 5 star of customer service!!

Beautiful cozy nail salon. Sunny was super professional and understood what i wanted to do with my nails. I like experimenting with different shapes and it was a breeze and i didnt have to explain too much. Also, the salon is really clean and hygienic. My new favorite in Boston. The prices are very reasonable after paying $$$$$ in nyc and LA.

This is the best nail salon I've been to. Yes it's a bit expensive then others but worth every penny. The salon is cozy, welcoming and friendly. I always get strangers or friends complimenting my nails. I'm a returning customer, my standards of nail art are extremely high, all the nail tech are very patient and professional. Every time the result is a lot more pretty than the picture I showed. And they have just as many colors if they don't have the one you want the nail tech will blend the color for you which is so sweet. They are professional of doing nail art just show them the pictures that you like. LOVE this place, can't wait to make my next appointment.

The person working on my nails worked extremely quickly sanding off the gel to the point that my natural nails were left damaged and rough from being sanded down. It's been two months and my nails are still breaking off from the damaged portion of my nails growing off. Then came the price. Throughout the removal the staff kept asking each other how much to charge me since they didn't know the price of this service. I was having my car detailed right around the corner before a weekend away and figured, why not treat myself? I booked a facial (which I've never done before) and a gel mani-pedi on their website for first thing in the morning. They texted me as soon as they opened to adjust my appointment times and were extremely accommodating. The inside is very calm and clean and well-decorated. There is a really pretty flower-adorned back wall, too, so if you're an Instagram person you'll have a great back-drop for selfies in here. I ended up having my facial first, and WOW. Never realized they could be so relaxing! Helen was amazing. I seriously felt like I was in a trance for the rest of the appointment and my skin looked so fantastic and fresh. My mani-pedi was quick (which I appreciate so much, as I get antsy during those usually) but they did a fantastic job even with my little nails. Over a week later, and my nails are growing in but still no scratches, chips, or peeling whatsoever. Plus, their prices are very reasonable. If you're looking for a treat-yourself little spa day without breaking the bank, definitely make an appointment at Brookline Beauty with these lovely ladies. You will NOT be disappointed. I am still in pain the next day with visible wounds on multiple fingers. Running water over my hands hurts. Attaching images of the worst cut. I have been getting my nails done regularly for over ten years, and this was the worst experience I've ever had. I didn't have time to drive an hour to my usual salon. I'm concerned about infection and shocked this service cost $120. My hands were hit by the drill multiple times, skin cut with cuticle scissors, and my appointment (hard gel on natural nails) was over 3 hours for one color. Usually two hours with removal at other salons. My tech seemed nervous and novice. Other patrons had full, decorative sets with tips started and finished during my appointment window. Stuff was getting wiped off my nails like she forgot the order (which can give you a gel allergy), and the gel was so lumpy and thick it had to be filed down. I'm generally really people-pleasing and tried to be understanding, but wanted to cry after my appointment. "Sorry" from your tech gets old after 5+ hits and a cut that keeps bleeding. She disappeared towards the end of my appointment, and the receptionist offered me a $20 ring from the accessories table when I checked out as consolation. I asked if I could get $20 back on the service instead and was told no. I tipped because I felt bad this girl might lose her job but I really feel she shouldn't be licensed. Nail Monster is lucky I'm not litigious, and I'm really hoping I don't get an infection.
