In order to get what you want you need to let them know if you want a design ahead of time otherwise you barely get 1hr of service for builder gel. first time ever heard for as long as I have been doing my nails that I need to send pictures and add notes when making appointment. furthermore, they ask you to provide details when you're a first patient but they never ask you to begin with. none of the receptionist asks you any questions and if you do not know you wont get your nails done. Also, the technicians can't even do the shape correct: it's always going to be at an angel. lastly, the owner seems to be professional, do not get fooled. she can travel and she will book you with any other technician without even notifying you. just avoid at any cost. not worth the stress. I could give a minus 5 start if that would have been possible

Pricing is so high now, and it really doesn't match the quality you get anymore. I first started going to their original location in 2020 once lockdown was lifted, and back then they did amazing pedicures, paraffin, hot stone, long massages - all part of the "regular pedi" service. Now the regular pedi doesn't include anything like that, and the price has since gone up. A few weeks ago, I had a scheduled appointment. I got a call asking to come 20 minutes later because the nail tech was running late - ok, cool no problem. I showed up later. Was brought to the pedicure chair and started soaking my feet. It ended up being 45 mins past my original appointment time before the tech started on me. I was so irritated since I was sitting in lukewarm water for 25 minutes. I wish they had just told me up front that she was 45mins behind. I brought this up to management; they apologized and gave me a 20% off coupon. I was hesitant, but went back today. I made an appointment and went in; waited almost 20 minutes for my tech to start on the pedi - no communication that she was late, just me sitting in a tub of water again. Once she started on me, I felt that she was just rushing through. The price of over $100 for a gel mani/pedi should have much better service than this. I gave them another chance, and they failed - many other places in the area I can go to that will give me much better service. Edited to add - after my 2nd visit, management contacted me again - told me they double-checked the cameras and said she wasn't rushing, offered me 15% off next time. Told me to go to their other location because they are short-staffed at this one, and argued that their prices are the lowest around. Not a fan of this customer service and attempt to get me to stay - so many other places out there better than this place.

Loved my experience at AL Nails Lounge. It's a beautiful new space with new equipment. I can't wait for my next visit to try the new pedicure chairs (they're gorgeous). Staff is very friendly. Prices are more affordable than services in Boston where I'd gone previously. Well I guess I remember that the quality of work was subpar. I requested a dip French manicure and French pedicure. The pedicure was not bad and the tech asked me how thin I wanted the white part which was good but as soon as I got in the chair for my manicure, it went downhill from there. I was trying to tell him how I wanted the shape as I'm very particular about my almond shaped nails. Every time I motioned to say something about MY NAILS, he would tap my hand away and dare I say hit my hand, basically telling me to stop and just wait for him to finish. The job was sloppy and not smooth. I was not happy and of course I was way overcharged. I can pay for something if the quality matches the price but this was simply not the case so footing this bill left me sick! By day two, I couldn't believe what my nails looked like and they were already cracking. I never have this issue at my current nail salon. And such a shame because this place is closer to me, NEVER AGAIN.

The white tape they placed under my lashes got stuck to the false lashes and was sealed with glue which was impossible to remove, unless you remove all false lashes and re-do, entirely. When the lady finished, I noticed, and immediately mentioned it to her. She said it would wash off after I showered. The man at the front desk was a witness, and noticed. After noticing, he semi smiled, laughed, and spoke to her in whatever language they speak that wasn't English. I got home, showered, and of course it did not come off. I called that very same day stating that I showered washed my face and it still did not come off. I notified the man who witnessed everything and he told me to come back the next day, so they could fix it. When I came back, the lady tried pulling the white clumps, which did not help. I requested for them to remove the lashes and issue a full refund. They refused, despite the job being done improperly, and the fix being half-done. They said that if I wanted to get them removed I would have to pay. While I understand they have a no refund policy, this was incomplete/poorly done work. They didn't even offer a credit or to redo them. I have bank statements and the date I took this photo to show I am not lying. The table you lay on had a sheet over it that was extremely dirty filled with someone's hair dander. I had to request for them to change the sheet. I should have taken that as a red flag! This place is not new. It's owned by the same people that owned Diamond Nails, because when they charged me, it showed up as their old name before they remodeled the place. They had to change their name because of the terrible reviews they had. They also wrecked my lashes. She trimmed my natural lashes. I'm not sure why, and I noticed when I had lash Bar remove them.

Again, really needing a manicure and on able to squeeze it into my schedule at any other time, I took a chance and had a different woman. To my surprise, she also was amazing! Another three week manicure! And so the story goes... I've had about five different women, and each of them was really really good. Not to mention they work pretty fast too. Sometimes faster means the manicure starts lifting sooner, but these women know what they're doing! They work fast, and they do a fabulous job. I've had a number of pedicures too, and those good too.
