Upon arrival I was greeted asked to pick a color. The staff was pleasant and cordial. I have never done dip nail color so I decided to try it this time. For a service that I have never done before, I thought the process was easy and simple. Nancy did my dip and I felt comfortable watching her in this process, has she knew exactly what she was doing.

I find it helpful to bring photos of what I want for reference. Jolie and her husband are very friendly and maintain a clean, cute, and comfortable space. They have every color and type of polish under the sun. It's hard to choose with all the options! Leon and the other techs also do great work too! I get so many compliments on every set, and I have referred many folks, including my dentist!! to book at Aqua Nails. The chair didn't give the best massage but oh well - my toes look so good, and that's what it's about! Like another reviewer said, this place has a lot of potential! It was really hot outside and the AC didn't seem to be working properly - so it was kinda warm inside. They have fans inside - so I didn't sweat to death. The 2 sisters (who I believe took ownership within the last 9 months) work really hard and are so nice. I've been to several different nail salons, and the up sell of services without even asking makes me uncomfortable and I end up never returning. It's one thing to ask, it's another thing to insist. With a bad taste in my mouth, I came here on the defense. The good news: I made it clear what I wanted, and Megan actually listened! Short of a few salon aesthetics that could be easily improved - my pedicure turned out fantastic. They had a steady stream of clients when I came in on a Monday afternoon too. I'm excited to go back this week to get my acrylics filled and hope they turn out as good as my toes! I'll head over in the morning before the afternoon sun hits the salon and turns it into a sauna (maybe it was just today the AC didn't work properly?) I'll overlook those things because I like Megan and I'm very happy with the work she did, the location is convenient (if you can't find street parking, there is a lot very close by!), and the prices are great! Honest and sweet ladies who know how to make your hands and feet pretty. I would also disregard the negative first review since that was 6 years ago and obviously under different management. Again, don't be put off by the exterior - it's not a fancy/boujie place; and trust me I've been to those salons and they sometimes put more effort into how the place looks meanwhile the service and quality of work is lousy. So townies (I'd like to think I'm an honorary one since I own a home here!) and visitors alike, come support this cute little nail shop in Norwood!!!!
