No seriously! I literally just left this establishment, my nails were done by LILY. I've NEVER in my 30years of life, experienced this LITERALLY AS I GET IN MY CAR. This is ridiculous, and a rip off. I spent $82 and TIPPED this lady, just for them to tell me "ohhh were sorry" like excuse me! NEVER AGAIN! My manicure is 1.5/5 to be honest, the choices were super limited. One hand came out nice the other super spotty, just wasn't worth the hype AT ALL! I won't be going back there ! I couldn't be happier and me and friend found Ruby nail salon! Our other salon was over priced, always running super later and could never do any of the nail ideas I wanted. Since coming here Lynn has always gone above and beyond! When I can't make up my mind she will free style and never disappoints! Also took my 5 year old to get a mani pedi from the pedi chair she kept giving me a thumbs up and telling me how much she lovessss her toes also done by Lynn! Today was my first time going into Ruby Nails. I've admired it for a while and thought today was the day. I walk in and was greeted quickly. I asked for a manicure and told me to choose a color. I am used to seeing an extensive selection. This is not the case here. Perhaps 10 colors of traditional polish, tops. I was questioned multiple times why I wasn't getting gel. I was polite but was curious why I must answer the same question numerous times. Polish was empty. Once my person found a replacement and finished my manicure I was put under a cold fan to dry my nails. I was surprised to not find a drying station. Then I was charged $22.00. That is a competitive price if the location offered a decent service. Today was my first and last time. read more

I don't normally do this, this is my first time writing a review So you know if I took the time out of my day to write this it's because it was very bothersome to me. My wife and I came to the salon because she needed to get her acrylic removed from her nails, we called ahead of time to ask how much the price was and if we could come in. Tom let us know the price And didn't give us much information after that so we believed we can head on over. As soon as we entered the salon two of the workers, Tom and another lady made us look like we were second-class citizens entering. We signed our names to sit and wait for someone to reach out to us and instead we were greeted rudely and unprofessionally. A woman came up to us and said we cannot do your nails because you do not have an appointment! Had we known ahead of time we wouldn't have made the trip. I simply told the lady we called ahead of time to ask if we could come in and how much it cost and we were told the price so we believe that we were OK to come in, Tom responded with a rude attitude and said you only asked the cost for acrylic removal but you didn't ask if you needed an appointment... it's so funny because Tom makes seem like I work there and should have known. Long story short I believe that this establishment was unhappy to see Black people on a Sunday afternoon point blank. They were two people who weren't busy at the time that could have removed my wife's Acrylic from her nails BUT instead, they decided to pretty much tell us to leave in so many words. In conclusion of this review, it is my best interest that Black people should think about coming into this salon because they are not going to be treated nicely which is sad that we live in a time like this. I have never left a negative review but unfortunately felt the need to download yelp for the sole reason to leave this one. Tonight, I came in excited to get my nails done. (I desperately needed it!). When it was time, I sat in the chair and my technician began to take off my acrylic nails one by one. (I came in for a fill not a full set so I'm confused why this was done....) Regardless, I've gotten my nails done for years now and know the process of removing acrylic nails. You need to first soak them, foil wrap, wait, then gently begin the removal process. Instead of this, my technician just ripped them off using an acrylic nail.... she didn't take part in any other steps used to protect the surface of the nail. This was extremely painful to sit through, and believe me, that was quite obvious. Next, she began gluing on and filing my nails into what I asked to be an "almond shape". Let's just say, I left with extremely thick, unshaped nails of all different lengths. Next, I showed her an inspiration photo and asked "do you think you can do this? If not I'm fine with a solid color! no problem!"... she assured me she could do them like the image, and we began. I am not one to speak up in fear of being labeled a "Karen" so instead, when the job was done, I tipped her very nicely for her time, paid the full price for this horrific job, and headed out to see if lavender nails was open to fix this job and thank god they were... here, they gathered around and chatted about this poor job and asked me if they really let me leave with my nails looking like this.. The reason for me leaving this review isn't to slander the company, I know it must be tough to do nails. But I hope they learn that this is an unacceptable job. If you don't know what you're doing and are unsure of your abilities, you shouldn't be doing nails. I saw shocked looks from the other technicians who also failed to say anything. Again, I'm aware I too didn't speak up about this job but frankly... I shouldn't need to! Needless to say--I and the others who saw the image included in this review will not be going here ever again. Oh and in the time I was there, a very upset client came in to complain about her nails that chipped off after 24 hours... very disappointing... No one has money to be spending on poor jobs like these! And as a broke college student, I am certainly no exception! read more

So so so disappointed... went here today and i've never been so upset after a nail appointment. DO NOT try to go here without an appointment. I was a walk in, and I sat there for an hour and 20 minutes before they took me. which is my own fault i should have left but i felt like i had already wasted so much time. for some reason they did gel on my nails and charged me for it even tho i asked for regular polish. the guy doing my pedicure couldn't have cared less and everyone rushed through the services. people were nice but the service, quality, and finished product were inexcusable. i mentioned to the woman doing it that they weren't matching and she told me she would fix it. mind you while i was getting my nails done someone else came back and also needed their nails fixed. so this place is apparently consistently pumping out bad services. the appearance of the place is very misleading you would think by the looks of it you would bet getting top quality service but you're definitely not. i will never ever go back here. read more

I tried Ruby nails when they first opened and was not impressed. Too rushed and an ok job on a pedicure that was done in 20-25 mins. Thought I'd give them another try because they are located near me - needing a last min mani and pedi . Again very rushed pedi and gel mani done in about 1 hr . Pedi was ok But not great manicure was not good at all. No clean up around nails and paint sloppy. It's clean...but for the price I expected better service. I told my nail tech I wanted stiletto nails. She wasn't able to execute.
