I have been a client at Pro Nails for several years. Initially, I just got pedicures there about every other month or so because it was close to my office. They always have done a great job and they are flexible with fitting me in with my schedule. Now, I go there for mani's and pedi's regularly. The staff is fun, professional, and skilled. They know that time is important and take care to do good work quickly. Plus, they are inexpensive for the quality work they perform. Went to this place on a whim to get a pedi with my sister. I'm from Los Angeles and am used to paying no more that $15 for a good pedi. When I moved to Reno, I found that many places charge $50 or even more for just a pedicure! Pro Nails' rate was $30 for a spa pedicure and it was amazing. The ladies were very nice, and took their time. They massaged our legs and feet and proceeded to pat them down with a nice hot towel, ahh it felt soo good. I totally recommend this place, I loved it! read more

This was my first time at this salon. I went with a friend to get mani/pedi for a wedding. It was the worse mani/pedi I ever got. Before I went in I happened to pick off my last mani and the technician didn't use any nail polish remover to remove polish still on my fingers. She pushed cuticles back but didn't clip any hangnails and for the gel polish, it wasn't cleaned around cuticles and was left on my skin. The technicians were pleasant but the quality of work was terrible. I know that the tools used for my Mani were the same tools that the technician used for the person before me. They were never cleaned. I will never come back to this place! I DO NOT recommend this place. read more

I dont know why people say this place is awesome. the front desk girl knew we had to be out at a certain time for the airport but didnt tell Samantha, who I had to wait to arrive and then wait while she stopped everything to talk to another person. you wanna talk to someone, and in a different language fine, but dont stop what youre doing. she filed and pushed her fingertips into me so hard it actually hurt. then using that drill-looking tool she actually dreally hurt 2 fingers on each hand and made me bleed. of all the nail jobs ive had I have never had them hurt me like that. I had to repeatedly tell her to be careful afterwards. I couldnt even get the right color I wanted-twice-and it seemed like all they wanted to do was gel nails. this place sucks and im only giving it one star because I have to. read more

I went here yesterday and left very upset. The girl that did my nails 21/2 weeks ago was the same one I requested yesterday! She took the polish off with her drill and finished doing the fill. When it came time to pay she charged me $5.00 dollars more because she thought it was gel. I brought the exact same polish in that she used originally and she stated it was not the same polish that she used 21/2 weeks ago....it was the same(no gel..regular polish) which I still had on my toes. Told her to look at my feet and she said "don't care it's gel".! $5.00 is not a big deal however, being called a liar at this establishment is a very big deal! Let me tell you something, JJ changed my life. I'm a college student who's not trying to pay a whole paycheck for my nails. I've been wanting a French ombré but not many places in Reno can do them or if they do, it starts at $60. Only $45 at Pro Nails for coffin shape, pink and white ombré, plus a gel glitter ombré on the pink going up. Nothing more. Yes $45 for a full set is pricy for some, but for the quality, experience, and free add ons you can get, it's so worth it. I brought in a picture from Pinterest and it looks better than the picture. Everyone is so nice and conversations are fun. I'm very happy and have found my nail place in Reno until I'm out of college. Give them a try! read more

I noticed she had gel, regular, and dip powder; along with different things to add to nails like 3d glitter, rhinestones, etc. She also shaped my nails perfectly coffin shaped. First time here thought I'll give it a try. Turn out to be a terrible service. They had me soaking my fingers in acetone for over 20 mins while she went to attend another patron for a pedicure. I was transfer to another lady who did my nails and she cut me three times. My nail polish for ombré was not even polish correctly. Worst experience ever!!!! I will never go back there!! It was a couple days before Christmas and I had a few hours to kill. Instead of braving the malls to shop, I decided to treat myself to a much needed pedicure. I absolutely love this place. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I didn't have an appointment so I wasn't sure if they would have an opening. Thankfully they did and my hour of relaxation and pampering was just what I needed during the busy holiday season. The atmosphere is very calm and serene. They got me arrested on prom night because this stupid girl couldn't open her eyes and see that she had filed my nails all the way down that there was blood everywhere on her table! . I told her I am not going to pay $40 for a hack job. She didn't understand what I was saying. I gave her $20 and tried to walk out. When I tried she put hands on me very aggressively and twisted my arm very tightly and pulled me back into her store and tried to punch me. But that's when I pushed her off! She had her mother on my ex boyfriends mom punching her in the head. And she had one client who lied in corte because they told her she will get her manni peddie free that day. I found this shop last summer when I was looking to get a Pedicure. I met Ann, and was very happy with the quality of service she provided as well as what a sweet girl she is. As soon as I start wearing sandals for the summer, I have callus issues, and Ann goes the extra distance in working on my rough heels and when she gets done, they are smooth as a baby's bottom. He not only has great skills in acrylic tips and gels (that is what I had done) he is also a great conversationalist. We had fun chatting about many different things and he entertained me by singing along to the songs on the radio! I suggested that he turn the nail salon into a karaoke during off hours! He's a natural! Lana did my husband's nails and toes, and as you can see by the pictures the job came out perfectly,! The Holographic Black turned out beautiful... in fact I am so jelly I might have to go and get my beautiful pink glitter nails turned into a pink holograph LOL.
