The lady came I had to correct her on the amount that she wanted to charge me. I wanted her to polish my nails after she finish the massage on my pedicure and she was she said no she told me no she wants to polish the First polish my toenails first that this is the way it's done then she put the paraffin on my my legs and just left me there. Only professional in the entire salon is the older gentleman. The females are petty, unprofessional and rude. Won't be going back there. At my last visit they charged me for a service they didn't provide (gel pedicure) me with and I called them out on it and requested my money and they didn't like that. Instead of being apologetic they were standoffish and tried to ignore the facts. English isn't their first language, but they hate being corrected and act as if they understand everything being said, but it's clear they do not. And that wouldn't be a big deal except they make it a big deal. Instead of arguing with customers and speaking in their native language when they're being rude and unprofessional, they should invest in taking customer satisfaction courses/lessons. I tried to give them another chance but the petty females brought up that last visit as if they weren't wrong. I'm over it. They're way too many nail shops around (on every corner) for them to act as if they're the only place in town. Honestly, I would give them zero stars if it were an option. I stopped in today to Halo day spa trying to get my nails updated from when I got them at pro nails. Halo said they had to completely start over, because pro nails had talked me into doing the nail powder. I didn't wanna start over so I went to pro nails again, against my better judgment. The first thing this woman - Ann - said to me was, "you come here." From there, she quoted me $45, then about two minutes into filing my nails, told me it was gonna be $55, which I said no to, because you can't quote one price and then switch to a higher price - which is what they did last time. She ended up painting my nails after filling them in, but everything this woman did was rude, nasty, and I highly recommend everyone reading this avoid, avoid, avoid this place! The inside of the salon just got an upgrade, it is beautiful inside. I dropped my kids off to school and figured since I have 3-4 hours for myself why not treat myself for a dip manicure since it's been awhile. They had a lighted Christmas tree, tons of the latest polishes, flat screen plasmas on the wall and new flooring. I even spotted a fish tank with beautiful exotic fish in the corner. Such a terrible experience with everything. I am coming to Yelp because they didn't even care how unsatisfied I was and disgusted with how my nails turned out. I like my designs and new stuff but they first messed up when they told me they can do something WHEN THEY CLEARLY COULDN'T! It really starts with the fact I brought the girl with autism I work for to get a pedicure and I'm given specific directions and a budget for what to get. Her nail tech insisted on continually telling me she needs a callus removal and a scrub etc when I kept telling her she only wanted the basic pedicure! My nails I wanted were similar to a French tip but with yellow so I had to pay extra and it is the ugliest French I have ever seen. Uneven lines and way too far down on my nail ! It's basically touching the bottom smh that's not a TIP. She also did not get all of my previous color off so you can see it under my new color. Then we get to the ugly design they attempted to do and told me they were capable of doing. Again terrible line work. I was supposed to get multiple designs I told her to stop. They could tell I was upset and unhappy. I told them I didn't like the design and don't know why I am paying extra for something that's not even a proper French tip. We came here because we just had lunch nearby and wanted to get a pedi/mani. It was our first time here and we didn't know any better. The place seems okay at first, but when one of my friends was seated at a pedicure chair, another friend of mine politely pointed out that the sink wasn't cleaned when the previous customer left. The staff kept telling this friend to put her feet in the water, and she had to constantly tell them the sink wasn't cleaned. Finally one lady came over and said "it is clean." My friend reluctantly dip her feet in still feeling completely crossed out. Throughout the service, they were being aggressive and rude to my two friends who pointed out the dirty feet sink. They also did not miss the opportunity of selling pedi/mani combo for $35, which we decided to go for, thinking it can't be worse than it was. We were wrong!!! Other than me, my two friends were both ditched by their manicurist after their pedicure without further explanation. Finally the lady who was working on my nail overheard my friends talking and finally get ONE manicurist to a friend of mine and left another one hanging. By the time I was done with my manicure, my 3rd friend still hadn't got her manicured started and we had no idea who was going to work on her nail. So she left with only pedicure. In addition to sanitary and sense of urgency issues, some people here are culturally ignorant. I'm Asian and often get asked my ethnicity at nail salon. This place really shows that curiosity (that's the nicer way to put it) to extreme. One staff started speaking Vietnamese to me when seeing me, another two straight flat asked if I was Vietnamese without any dancing around polite questions beforehand. And when I was around, more staff asked my friends if I was Korean... what does it matter what my ethnicity is when half of the salon has to ask about it? My daughter had a new set put on last night and they did a HORRIBLE job. My daughter being the nice person that she is, did not complain until she got home. Then it was too late to go back. As the night went on, nail by nail broke off. So, we went first thing this morning. We walked in and talked to the manager. The manager got very defensive and extremely rude. They did everything they could to not be at fault.......The manager actually said if they hadn't been so long, they wouldn't have broken. First off, they werent that long at all, and they wouldn't have broken if they had been done right. They offered to fix them, but she did not want them to touch her nails again, so we asked for our money back. They refused to give me my money back. They said they don't give a refund. I asked where was the sign that says No Refunds? The manager says we don't have to post that. We've been doing this for 20 years. That's when I got angry. I asked her if she were to go into a restaurant and not like the meal, wouldn't she expect her money back? She was like "Oh, you must do this all of the time." Seriously? The cost was on par with other shops I've checked in the area; you can expect to get both a mani and pedi for somewhere between $40 and $50 depending on the options you choose.
