The company claims they performed a hydrostatic test, but I seriously question whether that test was actually done correctly because the main water line was shut off. That raises major concerns for me about the quality and accuracy of their inspection process. What has made this experience even more frustrating is the complete lack of communication. Claudia Cuellar, the office manager, never returns my calls. Rileigh also refuses to return my calls. I have proof showing that I repeatedly tried contacting them to ask questions and get help, but my calls continue to be ignored. When a company avoids a customer after major damage occurs, it makes me feel like they know they caused the problem and simply do not want to take responsibility for fixing it. I spent a lot of my hard-earned money hiring this company because a close friend recommended them and said they did good work. Looking back, I wish I had done more research instead of relying on that recommendation. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Quality Foundation Repair to anyone.

Krista created a practical project plan tailored to my vision for the future of the property. She explained all aspects fully and responded quickly to multiple contacts from me to ask additional questions. Most of my questions were to compare materials and methods between my top two candidates for the project. I discovered that the items that made the other bid more expensive really made the job easier for their crew, but did not provide greater value to me. I had two crews for my project working inside, placing 7 piers, and outside, placing 18 piers. All the crew members were very quiet, polite and kept things very clean throughout the two days. I recently bought a 1930's bungalow in East San Antonio which was recently renovated. I started…read morenoticing diagonal cracks and horizontal cracks on my walls, especially towards the rear of the house. Expecting the worst, I contacted Vantage for a consultation based on on their 5-star review on Yelp. It was more the content and context of the reviews that convinced me they were the right contractor for the job. I called once on a Monday and immediately got through to Derk. He said he'll have James come by on Wednesday to come take a look at the house. No waiting. No phone tag. No answering machines. Got through to a person and was immediately scheduled for a consultation. Two days later, James came by. Completed a thorough inspection of our home, which is on a pier & beam. Used a leveling rolley tool and inspected all the rooms. Went outside and put on his Ghostbuster suit, and jumped right in, or rather, jumped underneath our home. 15-20 minutes later, he made a few recommendations, none of which were any hard sells. Basically James told us it's a moisture issue, and to get vents installed underneath our house to dry the soil. That should fix most of the problem. After the soil is dry, call them back if we notice anymore shifting. Again, no hard sell. No doom and gloom scenario, which I was expecting, after hearing horrible horror stories from friends about foundation contractors. James and Vantage foundation are not like the others. And if you had the pleasure of living in a much older home, you know exactly what I'm talking about when it comes to shady contractors. You won't get that with Vantage. Instead, you will get honesty and the best customer service around with immediate callbacks and prompt scheduling. In conclusion, we are going to install vents first to let our soil dry and then call them back. I will certainly be recommending Vantage to all my friends and family for their stellar customer service, knowledge, and integrity.

Even the engineer hired to do the final inspection overlooked the fact that there were two concrete piers missing from the intended amount. So much for professionalism.

I felt the proposal was focused on only what was needed, which made the proposal an affordable option for me when compared to others. The install was delayed a day by weather, so the crew worked on it the next day. They completed the installation of all piers (to include two breakouts in the driveway) and cleaned up all in one business day. They left the site cleaned up and the breakouts were filled with fresh concrete. Overall a professional job. I will keep Supreme Foundation in mind if I need more pier work done in the future.

I didn't realize that they were outsourcing this work to a different company. The 2-year warranty should have been a red flag. The 3rd party performed the work. They seemed very unprofessional. I don't think they used the engineers report I had available at all, they appeared to just be eyeballing it. When they said they were done I asked to see the new elevation readings and they hadn't taken any. Less than 2 months later, all of the familiar problems returned. They did return to honor the warranty, but broke 2 water pipes in the process. I had a plumber jackhammer through the flooring to make the repairs and needed the flooring replaced. They said this was my problem and not theirs. Again all of the problems returned shortly, but there is no way I will risk them touching anything again. These photos are 1.5 years after the work was done. The house looks like a warzone and I'm out $6k. So Bats did not perform the work but they refused to take any accountability in my case which I find very unethical.
