From the initial contact, scheduling a consultation through the completion of the foundation lift and clean-up, I have nothing but positive things to say about this business model. Krista created a practical project plan tailored to my vision for the future of the property. She explained all aspects fully and responded quickly to multiple contacts from me to ask additional questions. Most of my questions were to compare materials and methods between my top two candidates for the project. I discovered that the items that made the other bid more expensive really made the job easier for their crew, but did not provide greater value to me. I had two crews for my project working inside, placing 7 piers, and outside, placing 18 piers. All the crew members were very quiet, polite and kept things very clean throughout the two days. I appreciate all the hard work done by Chris, Christopher, Justin, Glenn, and Dariun. Jairo, John, Michael, Antonio, Alejandro, and Humberto took extra care to keep everything progressing smoothly while responding to my questions or concerns. I did end up having some plumbing issues that were caused by the foundation lift. This was explained to me in detail before the project. Unfortunately had to deal with foundation issues on a relatively new home (5 years). Foundation was covered under warranty and had several companies come by for estimates. Coincidentally, a friend was also having foundation repairs, so I asked who he was using. He said "Risen" was very pleased with the work and sent me some info. I reached out to Risen and almost immediately received a callback from Jonathan - one of the partners. We set up a time, Jonathan performed an inspection and I received an estimate very quickly. The quoted price was hands down the most reasonable while also providing the most overall... finished product. Called Jonathan and said "let's do it" and he was able to schedule the job within a week. As luck would have it, he had a total of 3 crews available - they showed up and the respective crew leaders all came up and introduced themselves and their crew. Holy cow! when work began, it was nuts how fast they worked. All dirt was bagged (not spread all over the place) with 45 pier holes dug and most all piers started on day 1. Day 2 they finished driving the piers down to an average depth of 35 feet and "the lift" began mid afternoon and only took about an hour to lift, measure, lift measure. Simple but fascinating operation and Jonathan was always there to provide explanation. The crews stayed a little late they had all piers welded, backfilled withbdirt and/or cemented (where necessary) with all coming to thank me before leaving. The job site - MY HOME - was left in excellent condition and I'm kinda picky when it comes to that - they get an A+! And failed to mention, this usually would have been a 5-7 day job! We were in the process of buying a home in San Antonio, Texas and we were in our option period. We were content with the home but we also had concerns about the status of the foundation. The current owner had listed previous foundation repairs but had no paperwork available. We decided to do some research on foundation repair companies here in San Antonio to have peace of mind and to help us decide what we to do moving forward. Based on the reviews, their website, and their lifetime warranty, we felt very confident reaching out to Risen Foundations to perform an inspection on the home. Our first point of contact was Letty, who was very helpful in setting up the appointment. Letty was also very considerate regarding our option period, which was about to end soon. We were also told that Kip would be the individual who would be doing our foundation inspection/bid. On the day of the inspection, Kip was communicative with us before arriving to the location. Upon arriving and throughout the entire time he was there, Kip was very personable and professional. He did a very thorough inspection and he took his time when it came to explaining his findings, what they meant, and what it could lead to if they were not addressed in the near future. Kip also took his time addressing our concerns and questions and walked with us throughout the inside and outside of the home so that we had a full understanding of what was going on. Kip was aware that our option period ended the next day and he made sure to have the report ready so that we could provide it to our agent and the seller. I personally know nothing about foundation repairs, however, when reading through the report we were given, everything seemed very reasonable and in line with the extensive amount of work that would be involved. Unfortunately, we tried to negotiate with the home seller but we were unable to reach an agreement that would allow us to move further with purchasing of the home. I am a disabled combat veteran as well.We have had numerous companies come out to give us estimates etc. I was not pleased with how some people run these businesses.Sad to say it's like finding a needle in a hay stack to have good work and trust in a company. Our plumber Ceasar from COR plumbing informed us about Risen Solution Foundation. Risen solution foundations came out did the measurements and assessed the home. Absolutely fantastic experience with these guys! We were needing slab foundation work done for one of our rental properties. The house had been leveled with concrete piers twice in the last 13 years and needed to be done again. It was clear concrete wasn't going to work a 3rd time so I started shopping steel systems.
