This review is over due over 2 years due to a lot of projects going on st our house. Anyway, it is always in my mind and very important to mention that Milton at Quality Foundation helped us saving at least $30,000!! from another scam foundation company. Before reaching out to Quality Foundation, we had another Foundation company came over to check if our house had a foundation issue or not. We had seen many cracks on the foundation around the house, so we had some concerns. The foundation company, who came over, did the measurements many corners of the house and told us that we needed to have our foundation fixed asap. An estimate is roughly $30,000. Since it was a big money, we needed a second opinion. We did some research and decided to call Quality Foundation. It was one of the best decision in our life. Milton asked me some questions over the phone and from my answers, he confirmed that our house had no any foundation issue at all. He was polite, very professional and knowledgeable. This is the company that you can 100% trust. They don't try to scam you in order to get your big money from fixing something that in fact was unnecessary. Unfortunately, some unethical foundation company is still in the market and keep scamming people. In Sum: Highly recommend Milton and Quality Foundation. read more

I took several bids for pier and beam foundation repair so I have the context to say this company earns a 5-star review. First, communication from scheduling an inspection to completion of the work was very professional. Marco F. did the most thorough inspection among those who bid the job. The materials QFR uses are superior and the price they quoted was the best. The crew, led by Criss M. was excellent. They arrived on time each day, did top notch work, explained everything they found and did and left my yard completely clean. They truly exceeded all of my expectations. My neighborhood is older homes mostly on pier and beam and these houses inevitably need foundation work. I would not hesitate to recommend QRF to anyone looking for excellent, fairly-priced foundation repair. read more

Quality Foundation replaced my neighbors two story decking supports with new concrete and steel instead of rotten wood posts in dirt. I asked Simon Wallace to check my foundation due some exterior cracks in the masonry. It had settled almost an inch over nearly twenty years of exposure on the steep sloping terrain. Eight piers stabilized the footers and a recent check showed excellent results after nine months of extreme weather conditions. This is a great relief! read more

STAY AWAY!!! I can't stress this enough, do NOT use Quality Foundation Repair. They worked on my foundation and the results have been terrible. The foundation continues to shift leading to cracks inside and outside that thousands of dollars in repairs every few years years. They don't understand how clay soil works and their warranty is useless because it doesn't cover the cost of cosmetic repairs as a result of their shoddy work. If they perform any warranty work, you're still on the hook for thousands in cosmetic repairs. Ask them if their foundation repair work also requires that you add a French drain. You don't have to take my word for it. To protect yourself, ask them to put the items below in the written contact. They will refuse. 1. They are responsible for repairing any cosmetic damage that results from any flaws in their foundation work. 2. They are responsible for repairing the interior floor if they have to repair an interior beam. 3. They guarantee that the foundation work keeps the foundation from moving up, down or horizontally. (Clay soil expands and contracts, so you don't want the foundation moving) 4. Guarantee that their beams won't angle due to soil shift Any company that knows their work is good will stand by it and have a robust warranty. Quality Foundation Repair's warranty is bare bones with exceptions for virtually everything. read more

A few years ago we started getting bids and prioritizing projects for our home. Back then 2018? Quality Foundation came a looked at our place and provided opinions and quotes. They were professional then- memorably so. Fast forward to 2024, I called them back and said we are ready to do the job. Of course prices change and that's understandable. What did not change was their responsiveness and professionalism. The project was reviewed and the work started very quickly. It was done within 2 days. Our floor is level, the doors open and the stucco skirting is perfect. And we have a new access door to our crawl space! Quality Foundation worked well as a team, was fast, efficient and lived up to their name- quality. read more

Do NOT use Quality Foundation Repair. They "repaired" the foundation on my home yet every 2-3 years I have to spend thousands of dollars to fix cracks in the interior of the home as a result of the foundation continuously shifting. Here's my email if you want more information: dances_leaker6h@icloud.com The contractors I hire to fix my home always ask me if I've had my foundation repaired due to the extent of the damage in the house and they are shocked when I tell them I have because the damage is so extensive. To these professionals, it looks like my foundation was never repaired. For all practical purposes, the foundation hasn't been repaired. The lifetime warranty offered by Quality Foundation Repair is virtually useless because it doesn't cover any cosmetic damage caused by the repair. For example, if any beams inside my home need replacing, QFR would tear up my floor and the concrete to fix the beam, and I'd be responsible to fix the floor, even though the damage is the result of the warranty work done by QFR. If you are going to use them, get an air-tight warranty. Ask that the warranty include the following: 1. QFR is responsible for repairing any cosmetic damage caused as a result of their warranty work. If they have to tear up your floor or yard to repair a beam, they should pay for the full cost of restoring your home or yard. 2. The foundation work should be specifically designed to prevent the house from moving up or down as a result of soil expansion or contraction. It is NOT enough for them to put piers to keep the house from sinking. They need to anchor the house to keep it from rising as well. Don't make the same mistake I did. I would never use QFR given how shoddy their work is and how limited their warranty is. read more

Working with Quality Foundation Repair is always a great experience as we are a repeat customer - Simon is an excellent communicator and coached us through the best options for our 100 yr old home. We wanted to ensure our home was fortified before future improvements to the interior. The team exhibited unparalleled expertise and diligence, replacing outdated concrete block piers with robust large concrete footings and Steel Piers. What truly sets them apart is their innovative Adjustable Pier System. This revolutionary approach promises longevity, allowing future foundation inspections and adjustments at a fraction of the cost of conventional level adjustments. Every aspect of the project was executed with precision and care, from strengthening a sagging hallway wall with adjustable piers to effective communication throughout the process. Their commitment to customer satisfaction was evident when they not only deducted the cost of a misplaced water hose nozzle from our invoice but also went to the local hardware store and brought a selection for my wife and I to choose from to replace it, at no charge. Quality Foundation Repair prioritizes quality, value, and remarkable customer service, all at a fair price. I highly recommend them for foundation repair and maintenance. read more

First off who wants foundation repair??? No one... that's who! When my wife and I realized what was going on with our pier and beam house we were devastated and overwhelmed. So I hit the internet for answers. The name says it all "Quality Foundation Repair" From the start they don't mess around, professional, prompt, trustworthy and knowledgeable... right down to business! Zach came and estimated the job, he communicated well and did what he said he would. The pricing was right in line with what I expected. They were available to start work rather quickly. The next person I dealt with was the job Forman Rileigh... he set a timeline, answered my questions and addressed my concerns. I knew I had made the right choice! Then work began.... Misael and his crew are real powerhouses! What these guys accomplish in a day is mind blowing. I checked in every day at lunch and just couldn't believe the work they would get done. Misael would go over any issues that arose and we would discuss solutions, I really felt like part of the team. They got the beams replaced, the house leveled and all new skirting around the house (which looks beautiful) in under 2 weeks! When they left the job site it looked like they were never there! They cleaned up immaculately and I appreciated that! I honestly cannot say more emphatically if you find yourself in this situation and needing foundation repair do not bother looking anywhere else!! My wife and I truly appreciate the service they provided. read more

Great work, great communication, and easy to work with! We originally reached out to Quality Foundation and several other foundation companies in March 2024. We made a mistake and did not choose Quality Foundation at the time - we went with a company that recommended less work (and was of course, cheaper). A year later, we were in the middle of a kitchen remodel and moved out of the house when we discovered last year's foundation work (from other company) was poorly done, and our floors weren't properly supported and had already shifted significantly - especially in areas where Quality Foundation had previously recommended re-enforcement. We paused all work on the remodel. Our remodel's project manager called in a trusted foundation expert, which happened to be Quality Foundation. Quality Foundation came out quickly to inspect, and this time we took their recommendations. We had super helpful conversations with Simon about the work, and a week later, everything was finished. They went the extra mile and hauled out the dirt they had dug up into our crawlspace (this might sound funny, but we have an encapsulated crawlspace instead of just dirt on the ground). We received a final elevations report and photos promptly too. All of this happened before our previous foundation company even communicated what their plan was, after we had tried reaching out to them. We wish we had gone with Quality from the start - their original recommendations were correct, and we ended up paying more in the long run when we didn't follow their advice. read more

If you're looking for a professional foundation repair who does amazing work in a timely matter and at a very good rate, please call Simon Wallace at Quality Foundation Repairs! He is a stand up guy and will walk thru everything that needs to be done to get your house leveled and in working order! My house had so many issues with doors not closing properly and tiles in the house cracking due to the shifting in the ground/dirt over time. His workers are efficient and experts in their line of work. They clean up nicely afterwards and are able to remove the concrete dust out of your house after they finish. Everything is covered and taped to protect your household furniture, etc! I highly recommend Quality Foundation, not only because of their name, but because they do fantastic work and are priced better than anyone around! Guaranteed. You won't be disappointed! read more

Quality Foundation Repair provided excellent customer service and support with my homes needs. They were able to install the need support rods to my foundation in a short amount of time. Zach was particularly helpful and responsive to our request for clarification and providing detailed explanations throughout the process. I would happily use them again. read more

I recently noticed some cracks in my foundation and wanted to get an expert opinion on the severity. I called Quality Foundation Repair and described the issues I was seeing. They asked me to send pictures of the cracks which I did shortly afterwards. They said it was likely nothing to worry about, but they offered to send someone out to take a look out of due diligence. The inspection was free, so I was skeptical that they'd find something that needed repair, but was very happy when the inspector gave the foundation a clean bill of health. He was prompt, friendly, and had great news for me, so I'm very appreciative of this QFR's honesty. read more

Update: The work remains excellent, but this has to be the worst place in Austin to work. The Crew accidentally broke a window with a tool, and when I filed a claim, the Lead told me he would be fined or fired if I persisted, so I withdrew it because he had done such a good job. Then, the invoice was incorrect and they not only pressured me to sign it, but told me the staff would not get commissions until I did. I eventually did, just so they would quit calling. Bottom line: Great actual work, the worst management team I've come across. read more

I had a very positive experience with Quality Foundation Repair. Zach provided the estimate and was very responsive to the many follow up questions I had. Zach made sure I understood the recommended repairs, cost and the reasoning for them. Javier and his crew were worked efficiently, arrived promptly each day and were very tidy considering the type of repair. Zach and Javier kept me up to date throughout the project. I highly recommend. read more

Deciding whether or not to write this took a while to think about. I wanted to be fair to the company but also to people looking for .. uhhh. .. quality. I will say it's tough to judge when you don't meet with them - and therein lie the problem. On a Monday, I sent an email asking about availability to come do a bid. As this was 360+ miles away, I wanted to be SURE an appointment was set. A couple of hours later, having not heard (received a reply), I called and talked with Milton. I had a long trip ahead, first to Elgin for the bid (360mi), then to the North Dallas area (215+ mi), then back to the beginning, another 350+ miles. Also factoring my need for expediency is I am taking care of my brother (and now his house in Elgin) who has dementia as well as my own house in North Texas. My wife had gone to Elgin a month prior and gotten 2 bids for foundation work. 1 was very low, 1 was very high, but very complete. I wanted a 3rd and according to Yelp, Quality had some very good reviews. I was hoping for a Tuesday or Wednesday appointment, but Milton said the soonest they could be there was Thursday - 10:30 or 1:30. Although I did ask if there was anything earlier, at which point he talked to ???, he said no, nothing until Thursday, I said that the earlier one would have to do. So I drove. 360+ miles. I got a hotel in advance . I was at the house @ 9, in case anyone showed up early. At 10:40, after no one showed, I called to make sure someone was on their way. Milton said I hadn't made an appointment. I reminded that I had said that "the earlier time would have to do". He said he "understood why I would think that"... huh? He then replayed the taped original conversation, which was pretty as I said it. So I complained. To which he said "I can understand why you would feel that way". I again pointed out not only that I DID make that appointment but that I wasn't happy with this result. Again "I understand why you would feel that way". I pointed out that he seemed incapable of recognizing his error and, btw, you *don't* understand how I feel unless you drove that far for an appointment that you had scheduled. AGAIN "I can understand why you would feel that way". I then asked if they could get anyone out today. The reply, I think, was not until next week. He let me know "I could leave a key under a doormat or something". I have trust issues. I have larger trust issues with someone who has shown they could not be trusted. And I did not care for what I took as condescending attitude from his part. I'm sure he can understand "why I would feel that way". While I was driving the next 200+ miles for another appointment, the owner called and left a voicemail. He apologized and said he listened to the conversation and agreed an appointment had been made and left me his number. I was already out (1) a day's worth of travel, (2) price of a hotel, and (3) aggravation. There was nothing he could say that would change either the outcome or put a smile on my face. So, whereas, gee, SOMEone at least apologized, that was a whole lot to go thru for *literally* NOTHING. I'm sure the loss of 1 customer is no big loss. My warning is: they may or may not be a decent company, Milton may be a good human being, but even if I was local, it was not worth the effort. It shouldn't have been difficult. at all. Forewarned is forearmed. read more

worst decision I ever made on my house. after they did there incometent work, my house was in worse shape than before. They knew better but wrecked my home anyway. rep said too bad and walked off as I compalined. their contract says to arbitratre, what a scam, you never win those, read all contracts carefully and do not use them , if they stipulate arbitration, that means they are scared of being sued and Losing . an engineer looked at he job and wondered why they didn't just stabilize the house, which wold have negated the damaages. they never gave me that option. this is their business, bad people. read more

Used them twice at my last home and was very pleased. Their pricing was transparent and a fraction of what some of these bigger name companies wanted to charge. Also their technology is sound, and the work was done efficiently and correct leave the first time. Oliver is the absolute BEST. From the very beginning, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and transparent. The crew did great work on my house, which has turned out to be rather tricky. We have two projects on a house we recently bought -- previous owners notched a load bearing support beam (silly rabbits) on one side of the house to avoid re-routing plumbing pipes that caused the floor to sink 1"+. On the other side of the house, they added a 2nd story addition and the foundation done was substandard for the weight, so our floor is dipping in some areas. Marco came recommended from both a neighbor and a close friend of ours who both had work done in the last couple of months. He is professional, thorough and reasonably priced. He listened to all our concerns, offered several suggestions and made sure we knew what to expect during the whole process (e.g. wall cracks when the house was lifted to install new piers and beams). His team is efficient and respectful of how disruptive a project like this could be. His site manager, Juan, also took the time to walk along our perimeter and offer tips to help us reduce (even eliminate) the risk of more work needing to be done in the future, which was appreciated (we are now adding french drains to the list of honey do projects!). Marbles no longer roll freely across our floor and I feel good about taking a bath again without the fear of falling through the floor. Highly recommend these guys. Note: Their business is growing and it may time you a try or two to get a hold of them, just be patient, and persistent. read more

As a 40 year Master Plumber, I have seen multiple foundation issues affecting both water and wastewater systems. I always silently said to myself "I hope this never happens to me". I first noticed a seam pulling apart in my ceiling. I blamed it on myself for not being delicate while storing items in my attic space. Over the next few months the seam in the Sheetrock expanded in length and began pulling apart to the next sheet. Then I noticed the tile on the floor had a crack the entire width of the room directly under the ceiling Sheetrock crack. Hoping it would stop settling, I let it go a few months and the ceiling split expanded wide enough I could see the the wood o the ceiling joist. I had 9 different companies giving me bids over a one month period. I did my due diligence and eliminated the use of concrete cylinders (how can they stack straight and not flex while being driven into the ground and not loose maximum support). Marco came out on time and took elevations and measurements. He answered all of my concerns and returned all of my phone calls promptly. They were not the cheapest bid (less than $200.00) but after going to their shop and seeing the fabrication of the heavy steel they use and after reading all available reviews and their YouTube videos I decided on Quality Foundation. They were right on time and fully prepared to start. They were all very personable and friendly and again answered all of my concerns about utility lines and sprinkler piping. They started at 7:30 and were done at 2:10. The cleanup was flawless, an amazing repair on concrete they had to remove and they were cautious not to disturb any landscape plantings that were in the work area. Now here comes the best part. After the crew left Marco called to see if was happy and satisfied with the work that was completed. Marco then tells me that the crew leader determined that they could do without one pier by expanding the distance between the piers on the side of the garage. Marco brought this to my attention and deducted the cost of the eliminated pier. I would have not been aware if Marco hadn't told me he was making the deduction. The structural engineer came out and inspected the work, also complementing the crew on the excellent work and concrete repair. I very, very seldom write reviews but Quality Foundation / Marco deserves to be recognized for great price, great work and honesty. Marco, thanks for everything and feel free to use me as a reference!!! read more

Revised on 9/9/2022. Simon contacted me again. The communication was friendly and easy. He wanted his customer to be happy so he made the correction. I'm turned into a happy customer again! Revised on 9/7/22. The owner, Simon, contacted friendly and tried some correction to solve the issue. We will see how it eventually landed. They simply don't admit their own faults. The way they do the hydrostatic , which a test required after a foundation repair is wrong. They did it outside the house/foundation and said it's failed. I had to spend another $1000 to hire my own camera plumber and an RPM (above master plumber level) to prove a passing hydrostatic test and the way they did was wrong. Since then, no customer service, no emails response no nothing. They just don't want to admit their fault and correct it. You are lucky if everything goes fine. read more

Second house that I've used Oliver and his crew and second time I couldn't be happier with the quality of work and the honest assessment of the necessary work. It's rare to find such a trustworthy contractor like Oliver and his foreman, they worked with me to make sure my expectations were met and I didn't try to go too far in the foundation adjustments. They could have pushed for the job to be bigger and not cautioned me on the benefits vs internal damage like other contractors but they were again open and reasonable. The outcome, very reasonable price, a great final product with minimal internal cracks etc and a spotless worksite. With as many negative experiences as I've had with different contractors I can't speak highly enough of this bunch. Hire with confidence. read more

It's not often that I find myself writing a review for foundation repair---thankfully! But it's Austin so chances are, you'll be doing foundation repair at some point. 7 years ago when we noticed a pen rolling across the floor in our back bedroom, we called Quality Foundation Repair. They promised a lifetime warranty. They were clear, professional, did what they said they'd do, and we were done! So why I am writing 7 years later. Well, honestly, I figured like most businesses offering lifetime guarantees they really hoped they'd never hear from me again. BUT THEY CALLED ME. YEP---you heard me---7 years later they called me just to make sure my foundation repair was holding up. And offering to come out for a free inspection (which happened today) and when the inspector wasn't sure if he was getting great numbers, he recommended we check again in August when it was bone dry to get a second reading. It was actually the same inspector I had 7 years before---his name was still in my cell phone! How great is that? The same person was still working there. And they are really following up on their product. So far, we haven't had any additional problems---their fix has stayed fixed! But it's good know (this being Austin) that if there is a problem, help is just a phone call away and it won't be a hassle to get to them to come out. I was 100% impressed. read more

We called Quality Foundation for an estimate to level our 44-year-old house in the Oak Hill area. The engineer was very professional and explained in detail what he was doing. We received two estimates. One was to address an immediate problem and the other was to address all the leveling issues. There was no pressure and in fact we waited about 6 to 8 months before starting the job. On April 8, 2024, the installation crew arrived a little after 7:30. We had chosen to address the whole house which included installing 14 piers. The Crew Chief and I did a walk around the house to verify the location of the piers and what they would need to move. The crew started their work. There were four men on this crew, and they were very efficient and organized. They had to make 4 cuts through the driveway and patio. It was noisy at times, but we expected that. Toward the end of the job, a third-party Engineer showed up to inspect the work. To conclude this lengthy review, the work was completed and they were cleaning up by 12:45. By 1:00 PM they were gone and except for the fresh poured concrete you couldn't tell they had been here. We had the hydro static test completed and have since received our Engineering Certificate. They have done a total of four houses on my street. We would highly recommend Quality Foundation Repair. read more

Marco came out to inspect my home and did an awesome job explaining what he was seeing and explaining what was going on with my foundation. He was very technically savvy about it but was about to distill it in a way that I could understand. If I do need work on my foundation done in the future, I'll be sure to use this company. read more

What a stand up company. Honest, insightful, knowledgeable, and all around good people. Cons: Had a bit of a hard time with initial contact. I got the voicemail most of the time. I did get a call back but i was busy so just your typical phone tag. Took about a week before i was able to get ahold of someone. But the original call back was 24hrs. So while that wasn't a perfect experience it wasn't that bad either. Pros: Once talking they were very friendly and accommodating. Had several appointment opportunities to allow me to flex my schedule. They got me a confirmation email as well as a call the night before confirming the time may need to bump 30 minutes due to travel time. Non issue and appreciated the communications. Also it ended up only being about 15 minute delay. I had some cracks in the ceramic tile, noticed more and more cracks in the dry wall, some growing more significant. As well as some cracks in the foundation outside. I have a concrete slab foundation. Marco was the one who came on site for the evaluation. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was even considerate enough to take off his work boots when entering the home. He did an evaluation inside and outside, made conversation and got after it. Maybe 30-45 minutes total. He used a really interesting tool (a cool toy in my nerd book) and took elevation measurements around the home sharing some of the differences with me. He made a sketch of the house with the different measurements and we reviewed. Marco explained to me my house was within reasonable tolerances for its age and type. He put me at ease while explaining what he saw and what to look for. Instructed me to take some pictures of a few cracks and monitor quarterly, and if expansion occurs to call him after giving me his card. He also made some recommendations on gutters and water run off to help protect erosion around my foundation. I was really pleased with the response time and feedback. Then to boot they didn't charge for the evaluation. I mean seriously he drove from Del Valley to North Round Rock and spent time here and didn't even charge me an evaluation fee. What a good company with good people!! I would highly recommend. read more
