Second project with Olshan, and both resulted in significant site damage. Excavation destroyed plants, damaged irrigation, and left concrete debris buried in my beds. I requested reimbursement and was told it wasn't covered under warranty, despite being basic site restoration issues. read more

Rain postponed the second day completion of our project but foreman Jose communicated with us, kept the job site as clean and clear as possible. Olshan Foundation Solutions talks a good game, but they are not trustworthy. I signed a contract with them for drainage work on my property. After a full day of work tearing up my driveway, the work crew said that they would not do any more work unless I paid more or we decreased the scope of the work. Essentially, they refused to honor our signed contract. In the end, they patched my driveway by filling in the trench they had created. I now have an eyesore and my drainage problem still exists. I regret ever calling Olshan. read more

In August 2023 we had our foundation repaired. It was down as much as 1.5 inches in spots. Recently we had some concerns it was sinking again and Jaren Dodds came out to reinspect (he also did the initial inspection). He put our concerns to rest after using his leveling gauge to ensure us the foundation was holding as designed. Highly recommend! read more

We had our foundation repaired by Olshan Foundation in 2003. We had 62 piers installed. Olshan came out this week and inspected our foundation. It is still working as designed!!! Well, I do not even know what to say. Draw your own conclusions. A year ago I contacted them for an estimate. A very nice, professional and knowledgeable gentlemen showed up on time, measured everything, explained details and the quote was $600. I never got around to do it so I called them again. This time for exactly the same size job it was $2700. Taken aback by almost 600% price increase in little over 13 month I asked the sales person to look into such a dramatic difference, she said she would but I've never heard from her again. To me the lock of follow through translates into a very bad customer service. So I called another local company. Their quote was $900 and they indicated that it would probably be less but $900 is simply a minimum. 600% increase in price? Really, Olshan? read more

Just had a consult from Michael Johns from Olshan. He took full level measurements of my foundation, and then discussed with me my options. While the house is significantly out of level, its still unknown if it is currently moving, or if its stable. He suggested we could wait a year and take the measurements again and that way we would know if there is continued movement. I was impressed by the fact that he did not feel like he had to sell me a remediation service today, and he was comfortable waiting until we had more data. No pressure to buy today and the results is I will be more comfortable if and when I proceed. read more

Raised foundation close to six inches on one side. Sara was an awesome in explaining their products and warranty. Raul and his crew were professional, kind, so informative of what they were going to do and oh-my-goodness neat and clean!!!! We had Olshan come out for an estimate. This was our second one and it was certainly more expensive primarily because they included a quote for their drought defense system. We agreed to the work and when you agree to the work you sign a contract stating any damage caused by lifting the house is your cost. I interpreted that to mean during the process of lifting or caused by lifting the house is your cost. They needed to open a spot inside my house which meant making a hole in the slab. I was initially told they would not go under the house for this. What I wasn't made aware of was that there is a risk that tension cables could be broken, I don't know anything about slabs so I also didn't know to ask. I also didn't know to ask about getting this type of thing marked. During the conversation with Olshan, the representative said we should get our plumbing checked out by Foundation Plumbing Repair, who were amazing by the way. We did have a plumbing leak so we now had to excavate. I asked if the plumbing tunnel could be used for the repair they needed to make in the house and was told it wasn't in the right place and would cost $300 a foot to dig the rest of the way to the area they needed to be in. That would have run the repair up by another couple of thousand. I decided to save that money and just have them go through the floor, as this was already very expensive. So on day one the crew broke a tension cable, I was made aware of the mistake. I said that's fine your going to fix it, right? That's when I was informed they would fix it for $700, because I signed a contract stating they were not responsible for the damages. I understand if the lift causes damages because the house has shifted. But my frustration grew because this is something I would expect a professional to be aware of and inform me my risk. Had I known the risk I would have added the extra cost of digging and avoided the possibility. I made a fuss and they agreed to pay half. So, they call their connection to fix it at Suncoast, also a pleasure to work with. Who came out and said $700? This is a $1500 repair. Olsham did pay half, but my half was more than I was made aware of. I still feel that this repair should have been the responsibility of the company, but I did want my house repaired and done. To be fair the crews that came out were professional and worked very hare. The representative that came out was very knowledgeable and proffessional. We had some miscommunications that didn't cost more but I wish I had navigated better, I don't know if I was clear on what I wanted so I'm happy to take that hit. I the last crew that came out was putting in the irrigation system and filled in some patches. The last crew was Christian's crew and they came out and did a great job with the irrigation. The patches Christian did were done very well. The patches done previously didn't line up with the rest of the concrete squares. Those had been damaged when the driveway and back patio were lifted. Christian fixed those up and they looked really good. Overall, my disappointment was in the tension cable being broken. I would have paid more not to worry about it. Christian's crew saved them on my review. Overall the business was professional and the crews were hard workers. read more

We had the Olshan crew come by to fix our driveway as tree roots had popped up one of the slabs, and water underneath had caused other slabs to sink. The crew was on time, friendly, informative, and professional. They were able to get the driveway as level as possible given our situation. This was a slow process as they needed to raise each slab correctly making sure not to overfill the poly in any one place. Our place looks a bit more respectable now, all at a reasonable cost. Very positive experience with Daryl when he came by to check our foundation. Daryl came on time, and gave me a call 30 minutes before he arrived. Once he arrived at our house, he listened to our concerns then took a look inside and outside the house. He was very honest about all of the things he could see and didn't try to push anything on us or try to exaggerate anything he saw with the house. I've dealt with other companies trying to make a problem seem bigger than it is in order to book an appointment, but none of that bs with Daryl! He told us how it is, gave us estimates in the case we wanted to fix the problems he found, and overall a very positive experience.
