Pro Active Pest Control performed a Termite Inspection for us and followed that up with a treatment today, after sub-terrain termites were found(as suspected) Chris Reyes, our inspector, took the time to thoroughly inspect our property and explain what he found, where he found them, and what our options were. Marcus Proctor and his crew performed the work today and they were professional, neat and courteous. While the $2900.00 for approximately two hours work(2 people) seems high and I have been told indeed it is, I agreed to it and hope they did rid us of those SOB bugs for good!! read more

Don't sign an agreement! The service they provide is great. The majority of their technicians are professional and courteous. The issue is trying to cancel your contract when the term expires. It has taken over 45 days, multiple phone calls and emails, and yet today, a technician calls to say he is one the way. The cancellation department staff is unprofessional and rude. They don't follow through with what they say they will do. They place you on hold and never come back to the line. I can no longer recommend them to others. I called on behalf of my parents. Everyone I dealt with from first call to the first visit, scheduling the follow up visit was helpful and even compassionate. We chose this company for my parents over the company over four other companies vetted ranging from large to small/mid-sized (one my husband I had even been clients of for a few years in our home not far away). Without going into details, they were responsive, informed, easy to work with, nimble, and kind. And they live up to their name: Proactive! Further, they offer a follow up service one week after the initial service...I did not encounter that with others. In fact, one big brand competitor was so aggressive for the sale after quoting their retail pricing they quoted me, trying to have me put them on hold while I took a work call, they started calling while I was on the same work conference call with a different associate with "I'm local, I can give you discounts" and further only offered a check back in THIRTY (30!) days after "if we really need it." Again, Proactively makes it a practice to check in after a week and further told me if we noticed anything, call before the week and they will come out. The rates were decent and you truly feel like you are a customer, not a number. Specific shoutouts to the superheroes of the day: Devin (so?) who took my initial call and had things in okay while I was still reviewing the contract and getting in payment as well as Ricky, our tech. Also super helpful (proving this is just a great group through and through!) were Chris and Jeff, both of whom I spoke with in the last 36 hours between getting this set up, checking in to make sure all was well, and scheduling the follow up visit. For our most recent service, my wife said that Louie did a great job. She felt he did better than the previous technicians. He was responsive to her concerns and did a thorough job cleaning cobwebs on the eaves and fence. He found some loose roofing tiles and let her know about them. I plan to address those with our roofing company. The morning of his visit, I had found ants in the garage. When he called me to inform me of his arrival time, I spoke to him about this. Great communication before and after the visit. I appreciated the phone call conversation providing me with his findings and resolution. Company has always been helpful and responsive however this tech seemed to be the most thorough and knowledgeable. We have been having the same issue for the past 4-5 weeks and Marcus was the only tech to provide us with what the next steps are to resolve issue. This is an update; after 2 years of service we terminated the contract. The price increased $6 not bad but more and more I was having to call for repeat service. The final straw was a black widow by my granddaughter and then after the reservice the black widows still show up. Today I started to do my own pest control and you cannot get me to believe that they were cleaning my eaves thoroughly every visit. We had Jamal come out for a quote and ultimately never got a quote back, we had to follow-up and even then the quote was incorrect as it did not include both offices we needed cover so that left us with a sour experience. Kyle arrived and was courteous and very easy to work with, he asked if there were any other problem spots and we pointed them out to assist. I am finding dead black widows all over outside after they came and sprayed. At least 10 dead spiders and a lot of out door bugs!!! So far so good! Everyone has been Professional and personable! The termite specialists are very knowledgeable with a lot of experience, and educated me about termites. Answered all of my questions thoroughly. I enjoyed and appreciated working with Jesse & Same! I use the bi monthly service and they also offer complimentary reservice in between the bi monthly service if you notice the bugs still persist. I have two cats and a dog. The products used don't effect them & they always educate me on how long the product needs to be left alone without pets or me before it's all clear to be around it. We are only a yearly bi-monthly servicing contract and have not received our service. We were supposed to have someone come out by May 12th and they never did. May 29th we called to remind them our home has not been serviced and the representative said someone should be out by Friday and that we would get our one day reminder email within a day. No one came to service our home and we never received an email. This company has no problem making sure their automatic payment goes through, but can't perform the services we're paying for. I would like to note this is now the second time we have called and requested our contacted service and had no one showed up. When ants invade my home, I get very fixated on tackling the issue immediately that I can't really focus on anything else until it's resolved.
