My vegetarian daughter booked this restaurant for her graduation celebration cum last dinner before leaving college to head home. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This restaurant is part of a convention center, which means it's very, very big, and pristinely maintained.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waiter was a cheerful man from Mumbai who kept a close eye to all of our needs. While all hungry and in celebratory mood, we ordered a lot of food and drinks. Free papadam and chutneys were offered as we sat down. Since this restaurant is more southern flavored, dosa, khorma and seafood medley coconut are must-try then. The dosa was the first to turn up - it was the biggest I'd ever seen, and came with coconut chutney and a masala sauce. Paneer butter masala is my daughter's favorite dish - she'd order it both at home and at Indian restaurants :-). Everything tasted absolutely delicious, with the right spiciness for this family of high tolerance for hot pepper. With two appetizers (dosa and veggie platter) three curries, one briyani, one order of naan, and 4 drinks, the bill came to equal the street hawker food we had at a Taiwanese restaurant in Northampton the previous evening. Great value for superb taste - a stellar experience!

Went for dinner at 5pm service prompt and pleasant. Have been here numerous times. Usually for their lunch buffet which is a good bang for your buck. Dinner was $22 with tip included so not too bad didn't break the bank. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Quiet atmosphere not many people in there since we were early.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will definitely continue returning.

It is located in small mall has many parking spaces and very Elegance feeling ambiance. Buffet verities we're many for for vegetarian as well as for chicken eaters. Rice/ curries/ soups/ salads/ sweet was one only- rice pudding. Being self serving though waiters made sure you had enough water!! And need of anything else. Didn't order liquor being business meeting?? Food was very tasty and shall visit again if in the area...

Passing through got to my hotel and decided to see what is local. I haven't had Indian cuisine in a few years. So I pulled up door dash and ordered. Everything was amazing, tandoori chicken, rice, sauces, relish and they even had limca soda. Definitely a place you should not pass up.

I stayed away from things that I knew would be notoriously salty but for the most part, they were a lot of choices there for someone like me with blood pressure issues. If you go try to be extra nice to the weight staff and be sure to give them a good tip. I'm not sure that they are compensated well there for what they do.

Having read the other reviews I have to agree that the place has a grimey feeling to it. A feeling like the entire restaurant needs to be pressure washed and the carpets ripped off and replaced. The workers were super friendly, but there was some definite disorganization amongst them. I was waiting a good 15 minutes before they could decide who was going to be at the omelette station. I laughed cause one of them picked up a broom and was like: "I did it yesterday, it's so and so's turn today." Then there's the quality of food which is basically bare minimum - the cheapest possible available and it shows in taste and appearance. At least... at least the coffee was decent which was a pleasant surprise, and the omelette was actually pretty good and that's pretty much all I would have from there. I wish there would be more fresh fruit. The cinnamon rolls - very obviously from a can. The gravy for biscuits obviously from a pouch that had water added, heated and served. You see what I mean? like its all quantity not quality. Which I guess you can't expect much more when its 13.99 per person. Maybe it's because it was morning, but we found the bathrooms to be clean which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, I view golden corral as a place you go to when there's no other option as it was in our case within walking distance. It's cheap in both price and quality. This is the epitome of the saying: "You get what you pay for."

Nippon Grill and Seafood Buffet is one of the few buffets that still feels alive. The dining room…read morestays full, the trays move quickly, and the food comes out hot instead of drifting into that tired, lukewarm zone that ruins most buffets. The space itself is well kept and clean, which matters more than people admit. A buffet lives or dies on maintenance, and Nippon shows real discipline in how it's run. It is not perfect, but it gives you real value for the price, and that alone sets it apart in a landscape where many buffets have declined or disappeared. The strength of Nippon is its seafood. They offer baby clams, crayfish, mussels, fish dishes, and soups that are light enough to enjoy without burning out early. These dishes give the buffet a sense of generosity that many places have lost. The sushi is what you expect from a buffet, not a handcrafted experience, but it is fresh enough and replaced often. The hibachi station adds another layer of variety, and the constant movement of the crowd keeps the food cycling at a steady pace. The imperfections are predictable. Some dishes are filler. The room can get chaotic at peak times. A tray might sit empty for a moment before the next batch arrives. None of this is surprising, and none of it ruins the experience. It is simply the nature of a busy buffet that is trying to keep up with demand. There is one piece of advice that makes the difference between a short meal and a long, satisfying one. The worst way to approach a buffet is to load your first plate with dense, heavy foods. You fill up fast and the meal ends before it begins. Nippon rewards a smarter approach. Start with the low volume seafood. Begin with clams, fish, salads, soups, and crayfish. These dishes let you warm up without tapping out early. You can enjoy more of the spread and actually experience the variety that makes the place worth visiting. The truth is simple. Nippon is not trying to be refined. It is a big, lively, well maintained seafood buffet that gives you heat, turnover, and enough range to make the price feel fair. If you approach it with a little strategy, you can feast for a long time and walk out satisfied. I actually love this place.

I ordered the "beef stick" -combo. I was greeted by two small, burnt, and suspiciously shaped beef teriyaki skewers, atop a pile of shockingly fluorescent yellow pork fried rice. Had I spilled any of this rice on myself, I could have worked as a flagger at the nearest construction site. The pork chunks, on the other hand, were whiter than a 1970's mustache at a disco club. One chunk looked so much like chewed bubble gum I removed it for inspection to discover it was "just" gristle, thank god. There were also two chicken fingers, clearly fried in oil dating from the Nixon -era. The chicken itself was chewy and sinewy. The only duck sauce came in packets, and it tasted like high viscosity, salty water -- who uses duck sauce packets these days anyway? But that's not what I'm here to tell you about; I'm here to tell you about what happened ten minutes later. My stomach became a veritable symphony of horrors. The sounds were akin to a butter knife in a sink disposal. I knew what was coming, and come it did. I spent the next few hours in a type of suffering I wouldn't wish on an enemy as the old, greasy, fluorescent food rained hatred down upon my stomach. I finally retreated to the couch, my body weakened and my soul defeated. Later that night, due in equal parts to my low IQ and my short memory, I decided to eat some of the pork fried rice leftovers. After all, there's no way this stuff really made me sick. It *had* to be a coincidence. Thus began my most recent self-education, for within minutes, I was once again in the bathroom praying to every deity I could think of. The things I saw that night - the things I smelled that night - will haunt my nightmares for an eternity. I'll cut to the chase: don't eat anything that looks like the food from this place. Chicken fingers shouldn't be fried in anything resembling motor oil, pork shouldn't be colorless fat globs, and rice shouldn't be the color of a school bus. I regret giving a one star review for a local business, but my stomach insists. May god have mercy upon your soul.
