Peeled and bleeding nail after they decided not to soak it off but use a nail tip to peel them up, ruining my nail.

Do NOT go here. Instead of soaking nails off they just peel them off by wedging a nail tip underneath the acrylic and your natural nail. I had two bloody nails before I had to walk out. It was incredibly painful and I had asked them to soak them off and they said no and just started peeling them. Anyone who knows anything about nails knows that you NEVER peel off nails. It's so disappointing to walk into an establishment and the technicians are not trained. :( save yourself some time and pain and an infection and do not go here.

I found this business randomly when I was in the area and needed a gel manicure, and I left pleasantly surprised! I really appreciate the fact that the nail techs file and then soak off the gel polish before lightly drilling off anything that's remaining, instead of using the drill at the highest setting and hurting my nails. All materials used are thoroughly cleaned between uses, and the attention to detail is outstanding - my nails last 3 weeks without chipping! Everyone I've met is very kind and welcoming as well. Highly recommend them if you're looking for a new nail salon!

I love this place. I see Ava for my hands. She does a really great job with the SNS dip powder. She's very precise & makes sure it isn't thick or lumpy. She's also great at not knicking me with the drill, which is a huge pet peeve of mine. I like David for pedicures. Their Signature pedicure is an hour long & includes paraffin & a hot stone massage. It is so worth it! Post Covid, they've taken great measures to ensure everyone's safety. They have the plexiglass at all the hand stations, making everyone wear masks, wash your hands as soon as you come in & limiting the amount of people in the salon. I'm glad I found this place & especially Ava. She does a really fantastic job. Three of my coworkers go to her as well. They also have a great selection of colors to choose from too.

To start off with me being the only student in the salon I won't begin rating with the "because I'm Black" theory... Let's just say I've notice within the atmosphere the working lower working class doesn't get the same treatment as the "wife spending rich husbands money class". I'll be glad to elaborate on that, right after school I decided to get my nails done since I always see their sign outside while heading to Publix during our lunch break. Which enticed me to go get a fill in. Due to it being my first time using their services I didn't see any prices posted so after I chose my nail color (because I decided to just do regular polish because I was on budget for this visit) I verbally asked my nail tech how much was it for a fill in. He told me $5, okay cool decent price for just a fill in and since I previously had gel polished French tip nails so it was an extra $5 to remove the gel, I was like okayyy still excited because it's looking real affordable and I love tipping people their worth for their services! That means more for them in THEIR pockets. So the nail tech asks do you want them cut down and I agreed to have them cut so he said that would be $30 the he pursued to "persuade" me to get gel because it lasts longer that's when I told him don't worry about the color let's just do clear polish and cut down he says okay well that will be $25. Still confused I just said okay well don't worry about polishing at all just refill and cut down. He still said everything would be $25. So I didn't rebuttal nor argue I paid the $25 for just a refill and cut down NO POLISH and I still tipped him and I left and DO NOT PLAN TO COME BACK EVER. I understand the effects of "inflation" but there's a difference between actually raising the taxes on services/products and taking advantage of people. I only came to them due convince since I go to school across the street and I live in the Millennia area. Just proceed with caution and be sure to ask all questions before sitting in their chair wasting your time and energy. Much peace, love and abundance to all reading this.

Came here a few times already. I love Amy, she is the best! She really takes her time with my nails, attention to detail is on point! She's always so patient when I'm taking forever to choose my color(s). And the very best thing about Amy is that she has not burned my fingers with the sander tool. I swear I have never not had even just a small part of my finger burned by one of those things. Amy has done my nails about 3 times already and has never burned them. Thank you Amy! I get the SNS dip, and they have so many colors to choose from. You can do ombré as well (which Amy does a great job with). Prices are reasonable. I get tips and it's $55.

I've been here about 8 times and it's very hit and miss. I think after this last time though, I need to find a new place. My most recent visit involved me choosing a special 4D chrome color from one of their books. Obviously with the chrome effect, there's a base color and a special top coat. I guess they don't know their own chrome options and what color goes with what topcoat because when she started painting my nails, it looked nothing like the book example and she knew it. Before I even asked, she was removing the top coat and began tapping a glitter powder on my nails to make for an iridescent look, which was close enough. This extended my visit though and was more than a little annoying. Fast forward to a week later and that entire hand has gel polish chipping completely off. I don't know if it's because she put in half effort and should've started completely over when she removed the first top coat, but this hand is peeling like crazy. I don't pay that much money to have gel nails peel right off after 7 days.

I have been here a numerous amount of times and I've never left less than happy, until today. I got a pedicure and SNS dip manicure. The pedicure was great. The manicure, however, was not. I asked for oval nails, she gave me square. (She LATER made them slightly more round, but the shape is horrid and inconsistent between the various nails) The color is completely wrong from what was in the book. I even had her grab the book so we could compare, and then she told me that it was supposed to be "see through" and that's why it looked wrong. I can assure you that the color I originally picked was quite solid. Since I didn't have enough time to have her take everything off and start over, I asked if maybe there were some sort of sparkly/glittery layer would could do on top to make the color look less....sad. She looked at me like I had 10 heads. So I repeated it. She still didn't get it. So I said, "ya know what... nevermind. This is... this is fine for today..." So she continued with my sad little ugly nails. She then started filing my nails into more of the round shape I wanted, and while doing so, CUT THE S*** OUT OF MY RING FINGER WITH THE FILE. I've never been cut while getting a manicure, and boy did it HURT. She then said sorry and grabbed some sort of unidentifiable blue liquid and squirted some on my finger! OW. THAT HURT TOO AND ALSO WTF IS THAT?!! I praaayyy that my damn finger doesn't get infected. It's literally stinging as I write this review. My end result is so sad and ugly. My nails are bumpy and completely inconsistent, not to mention that my color is absolutely horrid. I wanted cute little greyish mauve oval nails, and I got round, inconsistent, bumpy, light sad see-through pinkish purple nails instead. Extremely disappointed in my visit today. I'm mad at myself for paying for that. Again, pedicure was fine tho.

Best nail salon in the orlando area! I moved here in June and have been trying so many different nail salons and have been a repeat customer at pristine because I always have a great result no matter which nail technician I get. They're extremely professional and efficient. I've never waited long to get seated here and my nails always look perfect when I'm leaving. I get dip on my natural nails and it lasts FOREVER, not a single chip or crack. They also don't charge to remove dip when your getting it done again which is a nice perk. I HIGHLY recommend getting your nails done here.

I'm just going to leave these pictures here for reference. There's only so much you can ask for before you start to seem annoying. I asked the tech to cut them shorter, after the 5th time of me saying "no shorter", I gave up. Same with the width at the top, I told her I wanted them skinnier, they looked chunky, they were too wide, etc; eventually I gave up. They're uneven, crooked, chunky, way too big for my hands. I feel like I'm back in 2005. If I could give negative stars I would.

This is the best nail salon in the Orlando area! My gel nails last about 3 weeks and gel toes at least a month. Helen is my favorite nail tech....her work is perfection! I highly recommend a jelly pedicure for that extra level of pampering - your toes will thank you!

I had such a positive first time experience! I went in with the intention of getting just a sns dip mani, and my nails were very short at the time. Tina, my manicurist told me I could do a tip and have them short which is what I ended up doing! I love the result! I will definitely be back. Did NOT like Kim. She was careless with a rude attitude. She acted as if she didn't want to be there. The massage I received on my feet was horrible a monkey could do it. I'll give the place another shot, but I would NOT see this tech. Haven't had a pedicure that bad in awhile. read more

I got to go here this past Saturday for the first time being treated to a birthday mani/pedi from a friend who's a regular here. I'll start by saying I'm on day 5 and no chips yet (regular mani)! Being in the Winter Park Village there is some street parking throughout the plaza, or a couple of large lots. The inside is super nice and clean/glammed up. The girl who did my mani/pedi was great and really went to town during the massage (obviously the best part, right?) and felt amazing. Their chairs are really great. I brought my own polish, but the selection they had was great. I left feeling super recharged and my legs felt so good. Even a couple of hours later I kept feeling my legs and feet because the products they used felt SO good even hours after. I can't speak to the prices because I didn't pay (I have an amazing friend!), and also would recommend making an appointment. HIGHLY recommend! read more

I have been coming here for some time now but every since the pandemic the environment is a little more stressful. I booked an appointment for tow fix and a dip and pedicure for the following week ( trying to be proactive). Somehow there was a communication barrier and the nail tech Annie was very rude. Basically upset because they put I was getting a full service when I was only getting a fix on my toe. I was literally there last week. I won't be returning. read more

Hands down the best nail salon in the Orlando area! I've tried numerous places since my move here a couple of years ago and was fortunate enough to stumble upon this gem in the Winter Park Village. The space is incredibly clean, they have a great OPI(and other) gel polish collection including current colors and the staff is super professional. Love it! I have been looking for a nail salon that offers great SNS nails in central FL for the past several months. I saw that Pristine had opened in the Winter Park Village and I decided to try it out. My first experience was great! Their color selection was HUGE and everyone at the salon was very friendly. When the nail tech realized that she made a mistake on my nails, she immediately fixed the problem. This is the first time that I am extremely happy with my SNS nails -- shiny and durable and NO CHIPPING. It has now been a week since my visit (I waited to see how the nails would last before doing the review) and I am still receiving compliments on them. Great salon and service! This place is amazing!! I always go to Annie and she takes the best care of me! She always remembers my name and asks me about my life. She has a wonderful way of making you feel right at home and she does an amazing job on nails. I always get the SNS dip on my hands and a pedicure. I've never had one complaint and everything always comes out looking stellar. They also offer water or a glass of wine and always have something fun to watch on the televisions. I would highly recommend this place. Even after I moved I still drive the extra 30 minutes out of my way to come here. I wish I could rate them higher than 5 stars! read more

Clean place, nice decor. Nail technicians seemed nice. Ended up here because my usual place was booked and I needed a mani-pedi. The reason I'm giving them 4 it's because I asked for dip nails (on my naturals) and I got gel (and I asked twice about if I was getting the dip powder and twice got told, yes "gel") I thought, well is okay, I just wanted to try the dip nails... no biggie. And the second reason it's because one of my nails chipped immediately. I fixed it myself, didn't want to drive for the fix ... I don't know if I would return but I don't regret the service. I came here for a fill and after 4 days my nails are holding up terribly. The gel polish is chipping and the acrylic is peeling up. Not to mention my nails were not filed straight and my nail tech was extremely rude when I brought attention to it. I would expect my nails to hold up better after paying $40 for a fill. I am genuinely disappointed in my experience and the quality of my nails. read more

This place might be okay for nails but do not go for waxing.The place back there is filthy and the lady who waxed my legs kept double dipping and did not use gloves.I really hope I dont get an infection.there is a menu with pricing and she was trying to charge ten dollars more than what the menu price was.There was a dirty comforter that she had me lay on. read more

I have been here before and did not have the best first impression but It was right when they opened so I decided to give this place another try. I definitely had a better second impression. The staff are super nice and friendly, continued to ask if I wanted anything to drink. I had Tiffany and she was super sweet and funny! There selection of "sns" or dip colors is a little underwhelming, especially for a winter park salon I was expecting more of a selection but they did have the main color choices and I was able to see a few I liked. I would recommend making an appointment. I went in the middle of the day during the week with an appointment, someone started me (put the foil, cotton balls and remover on to soak) and then I sat there for almost 20 minutes still waiting for someone to be done and ready for me so without an appointment I could have had to wait even longer. Once Tiffany was ready for me she was super quick and made sure to ask what I wanted and how I liked my nails. Left super happy and will def be back to see Tiffany read more

Tiffany has been doing my nails for about a year, and she does a superb job with the SNS application. Perfect thickness (not too thick, but not too thin so that they chip), very nice cuticle work on the edges, and very professional! She also does my pedicure, and does a great job on that. The salon (Pristine Nail Lounge) is very clean and organized. The staff there welcomes you with a smile and makes you feel like they really want your business! read more

If i could give 0 stars i would. This is the WORST place to get you're nails done. i got my nails done on a Saturday my pinky nail broke the same day. After 5 days my nails looked horrible. I went to get my pinky nail fixed and they tried charging me $10 just for 1 nail ! i will make sure to tell my friends and family to never come here. The staff is incredibly rude. PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND DO NOT COME HERE. read more

This is a nail salon that I have been attending since their opening. Today was the LAST day that I will be back. I had Annie who was in a terrible mood. She didn't talk to me the entire time. I did a color change on my hands and toes and she rushed through both. When I mentioned that my toes were bubbling up, she rolled her eyes and fixed them hesitantly. The girl next to me had a birthday coupon that apparently expired last week. The manager told her she couldn't use it. I felt that this was bad business and a bit ridiculous. There are SO many nail salons so it should not be difficult to find another one. read more

I love this place! Vivian is my favorite, as she does an impeccable job and pays attention to detail. No matter how busy they are, I never feel like I'm being rushed. It's very clean and everyone is friendly. I would recommend making an appointment since they get pretty busy, especially on the weekends. They do a great job making sure you're comfortable and satisfied! I always recommend them to my friends. read more

I went in on Friday to get a mani/pedi. I had to wait 20 minutes even though I had an appointment. My nail tech was preoccupied and did not ask if I wanted my callous removed with the large grater. By mistake, she took a chunk of my foot and it bled. I had to see the doctor about it as I am a diabetic and now have a skin infection possibly requiring IV antibiotics. Not a nice experience. read more

Love going here! The owners are very nice and accommodating. They have lots of OPI polish including gels and SNS dip. The place is very clean which is very important to me. I've been in several times with friends and we have all been very pleased with our services. It's hard to find a great nail salon and this one is a true gem. They just opened up a second location on Park Avenue which shows they are doing something right in my opinion. read more

My experience here was more of a Neutral than negative. They're open earlier on weekends than my regular nail place and I was sold on the price they have outside, so when I walked in I asked if that's for a regular service or gel mani/pedi, I was told and made sure it was for mani/pedi before they put me up to line. I did not wait that long and had to choose the gel polish I want. I was served there and there and my nail artist had nothing to say to me. It was a little bit awkward for the entire time she was doing my nails but it was not a problem to me so long as she does what she has to do. The gel polish was just OK, my nails came out alright but nothing fancy. Fast forward to checking out, The receptionist was different and I was told to pay $45 more than what I told the price would be before I agreed. I ask her why, and the first person who assisted me and told me the price (maybe he's a manager) came over and told me the price he told me was for a traditional mani/pedi and I did told him that I cleared first how much would I be paying even before I said yes and you told me $$ only. He gave me $20 discount and still I felt, their signage and the practice was misleading and I'm sure I was not the only person who experienced the same circumstance at them. I'm not sure if I will return next time since the gel polish chipped about 3 days after while it takes about 2 weeks for the gel to chip at my regular nail place, and it would depend on when and how quick I need the service and if they told me a different price again :) read more

After telling the manager here that I did not like my nails they proceeded to say that there was "nothing wrong with them" and didn't offer me a solution, I paid but I will never come back and will never recommend this place to anyone. Horrible customer service, really don't care about anything but money. read more

The salon is clean. Like any other nail salon they are pushy about you getting the most expensive option. The lady who did my nails wasn't really talkative or as nice. After picking a color from the book, she couldn't find the nail polish bottle of that specific color and long story short I ended up with a color I really didn't want. The only amazing thing was Tiffany the person doing my friends nails. She was sweet, helpful and friendly. If I go back I will definitely request her! read more

This nail salon is very nice, clean and the staff are incredibly friendly. But the main reason I go here is because of my favorite nail tech... Her name is LINDA! She is far and away the best nail tech I have ever been to. Her work is perfection every single time. I can't say enough good things about her. was referred here by my mom and will never go anywhere else again. We both go to Amy, she's amazing. Staff is super friendly, clean establishment, and very welcoming. Not too pricey but definitely worth any money you spend here. Owners are super sweet and friendly. Overall a great place:)) read more

The actual nail salon was nice. However, I asked for a gel manicure and I am unsatisfied with the service I received. The nail technician appeared to know what we was doing; however, I have gel nail polish on the skin around my fingernail on 10/10 nails. Also, I had to ask to do an additional coat because the gel nail polish had bubbles in it and appeared uneven (and he was going to let me leave like this). When I pointed out the gel nail polish on my skin, the nail tech filed around my skin numerous times to the point that it began to hurt. Also, on one of my fingernails, the gel does not even cover part of the actual nail, but is also still on the skin. I am not going back to this nail salon. I would have asked to speak to the manager at the time, but the manicure took longer than usual and I had to go to another appointment. read more

I've put off writing this review for a few weeks because my practitioner was so nice and I had a great time chatting with them. But the actual attention to detail wax was very disappointing. I may return and try a different practitioner someday. This was a wildly different experience from my previous waxers, and unfortunately not in a positive way. The lack of attention to details so frustrating, especially now I have to go home and be raising hair on my own after paying for it to be done. The reason I'm giving four stars instead of two or three is because they are very friendly accommodating there. And I'm sure if I had called the next day to go back they would've made space for me to come in. It felt like a very professional place. (after spending over an hour there being waxed I just didn't feel like going back for a second go.)

A number of choices came up, but I decided to go to Pristine Nail Lounge. Y'all, BEST decision, I promise you. The décor was spectacularly decadent, clean and relaxing. The customer service was delightful. As soon as I walked in I was pleasantly greeted, and immediately assigned technician. Her name is Krystal. Krystal is awesome!!! She offered me refreshments and the proceeded to give me the ultimate pedicure a girl could ask for. I was in heaven y'all. Her hands were simply magical.... After she was finished I went for my manicure, and Vince, he is the ultimate boss. His skills are next to none other. I was provided with a beautiful brochure presenting all treatments and their costs. I relaxed in a calm, beautiful and CLEAN salon...From girls having time together, mothers and daughters sharing an experience to those who were alone...the atmosphere was quiet, efficient and professional... I absolutely loved my experience at Pristine Nail Lounge. Every employee was so friendly and accommodating, especially the owner, Helen. Upon walking in for my appointment, I was immediately greeted and asked to pick a color out of a huge range of polishes. I tried an acrylic dipping powder mani, a method that I had never tried before, and LOVED the result. My nail tech was Annie, and she did a fantastic job; she was definitely a perfectionist. My mother had her nails done by Helen and they were equally perfect, and my little sister had a beautiful gel manicure by another nail tech, Ava. I've attached photos of my and my sister's manicures. The salon is so beautiful and luxurious, and the employees really treat you like royalty. I live about 30 minutes from Winter Park Village but will absolutely be making the trip again for this wonderful service. read more

I did some research and decided to give this place a try based on the overall positive reviews. I was greeted by a gentleman who seems to be the owner and was offered nice cold water (they do have wine too) while I was waiting for my turn. It was Friday and the place was packed, I tried not to distract my artist, being afraid that she will be in a rush and not do a good job, to my surprise, she really took her time paid attention to details. I am particular, older, and I know what I want. I love Tam...he is an Artist! The salon is lovely & clean, no acrylic smell, no nasty music, they take appointments and are ON TIME - that's precious to those of us who work a zillion hours & have a life! They run specials that save me $ and they never turn people away or make them wait forever. They are open on Sundays and Mondays! I always notice happy customers. My only suggestion is for other staff to be more friendly and to speak stop speaking in their language because it makes me feel very uncomfortable. read more

I used to go to Contoure Nails in Winter Park but Pristine nails have a much nicer staff, place and really go out of their way please the customer. The nail place is very large inside and absolutely gorgeous inside. The person to ask for is KIM as she does an EXCELLENT job on manicure and pedicures. She does not rush you and takes her time and gives you a long foot massage. The place is very clean and I love the massage chairs they bought for the pedicures. It's a specific look that people are always interested in and it's a perfect design for me. And Hannah did it BETTER than my original tech.
