They're buying fake reviews so that they don't have 1 star on here. This dealership are the definition of bait and switch and false advertising. They deserve to be fully shutdown so that they can no longer swindle customers as they are so clearly doing every single day. Here was our experience... I reached out about a 2025 Jeep Compass Limited. I was quickly connected with "Marvin" via text and over the phone. We proceeded to connect 4 more times before our appointment 5 days later, confirming types of payment that would be accepted and the terms, etc. A day before our appointment the link to the car that Marvin had sent us showed that the car had been sold. I called him to confirm and he said it was a glitch and the team was working to correct it. A bit later I clicked the link and then it showed the price of the car had almost doubled. Once again I called Marvin to see what was going on and he confirmed it was also a glitch being fixed. I then asked him to confirm the car was physically on the lot, to which he said yes. Then he said "see you at 12!". We did not in fact see him at 12, or ever. Because he didn't exist. When we walked into the dealership, they were blasting music at full volume and had to shout over it to ask us who/what we were there for. We told them and they directed us to some guy that was not Marvin. When I addressed this, the guy said "oh yeah, he doesn't work here, it's a 3rd party answering service" - red flag number 1. Then he immediately tried to tell me about another Jeep Compass Limited with less miles. I told him no, we are only interested in the car we came here for and he seemed inconvenienced. So he called someone and said "ok, it's at our other lot. I'll have them drive it over here". To which I said no, because I would like to test the engine with a cold start (most engine problems can be masked if you only start the car with an already warm engine). He said ok and that we could go over there. Then he said, actually, the car isn't here at all, it's still in transit and won't be here until Tuesday. So at this point I'm starting to lose track of the different lies. I get up and go ask the front desk to speak with a manager. The manager was Sammy. I laid everything out to him and he turned red as if he had been caught in these lies. He admitted to the third party answering service telling lies, he admitted the whole situation was messed up. Then, he offered to physically drive the car to our house in Brooklyn (an hour away) on Tuesday for a test drive when it arrived. I told him no because of the cold start. He then said, ok well please let me make it up to you in price. I said ok, call me on Tuesday. He said, I will take you off our call list and call you myself and hopefully we can make it a sale. Fast forward to Tuesday, not only did he not call. But I attempted to reach Sammy, Hassan, Angel, and the front desk more than 10 times to no avail. They were either screening my calls or knew they were caught in a lie and didn't want to deal with it anymore. Their business license should be revoked. Please be aware of all of this before spending your hard earned money and time here. 0 stars if possible.

I brought my 2023 Malibu to Bical primarily because of an active backup-camera recall--one I had…read morespecifically questioned them about two weeks earlier while my wife's vehicle was being serviced. I had an 8:00 a.m. Monday appointment. By Thursday morning, after days of poor communication and many avoidable Uber expenses going up to physically check on the status, I was at the dealership watching my vehicle that was promised days before, being worked on at 9:20 Thursday Morning. I was also concerned that a recall was documented as completed when I questioned whether the work had actually been performed was in fact not completed. When brought into the service office two days before the car was released, Bradley my appointed service provider was chastised by Martin saying "Y'all have to communicate better. He is right" and further when Bradley shared that multiple mechanics were prioritizing a Suburban while there were literally cars in every bag of the shop, Martin proceeded to say " His car will only take an hour, the suburban will take days. Prioritize his car." On Thursday, When I challenged the Service Manager (Martin) about the experience that had me wait for a 18 inch wire to be plugged in, his solution was approximately $16 off an $80 part. When I questioned whether that was seriously the best they could do, he referenced my profession, telling me I'm a teacher and shouldn't act how I was acting. Accused me of trying to get something for nothing while I literally had my payment in hand. 2/3s of the anticipated work done. He was trying to rationalize me having to come back to get the mandatory Recall done because his technicians hadn't had a chance to put the camera in. He then entered a waiting room of approximately 6-9 customers, publicly called me a "bad customer," accused me of trying to skip the line, and ultimately told me not to return. His tactic of trying to use a costumer's legitimate concerns as a platform to calm a room full of people upset at the same issue was comical. I in fact displayed the email of my appointment to a bystander in the room who verbally confirmed I was 4 days outside of my original appointment. When sharing that I'd be filing this complaint one lady gave an old fashioned "I know that's right!" as I had heard her and her husband's complaints of a similar instance while sitting waiting in the waiting room for an hour and a half. Additionally, when I pushed the Service manager on the fact that he made promises via text he asked to see the text. He requested to see the text as if he hadn't sent them. I never asked to skip anyone. I asked for accountability. I specifically spoke to Martin the service manager on one of the several conversations I had to initiate asking "If I need to get a rental for a couple of days could he let me know." Ironic that the recall was why I went there. I specifically said in multiple conversations I can deal with the dealers markups on labor because I need the turn around to be reasonable. Bical currently has an F rating with the BBB. I have texts, receipts, service records and recall documentation supporting my experience. Having them justifies why I've spent time on this platform addressing this service department. As for more irony, in my ongoing experience here, I can vouch that the people in service don't even drive Chevys which speaks further to the level of commitment they have to their own brand. I offer my highest level of caution, avoid Bical Chevrolet locations due to these practices . I anticipate them denying or minimize this. Yet, that will open further documentation from both service departments of Bical Chevy dealerships Valley Stream and Kings Plaza. Before stepping foot into these places ask yourself. Why would so many take the time to leave bad ratings, why would they have an F with the BBB. Why do the systems in place route all complaints back to the unprofessional and inept management? The answer because these are the only two dealerships in the immediate area and they take advantage of the neighborhoods they serve. The chevy dealer outside of these areas don't have these issues documented. In fact when looking into my next chevy dealer I realize the reviews are on how great Paul Conte Chevy dealership and East Hills supports their patrons with loaners in this circumstance. I'll be driving the additional distance for service going forward.
