I'm convinced this shop only deals with M-tech issues. If I need more than an oil change I'm S.O.L. I previously had issues with my first car 7+ years ago and again in 2025 the shop doesn't care to or bother to take the time to diagnose an issue with my car. I've gone to a second shop as it seems Gregoris can only handle oil changes. Found out today my axle is done and my power system needs replacing. All of this could've been diagnosed within minutes but Gregoris told me nothing was wrong with my car. I definitely won't be back and urge others who want to maintain a safe vehicle to go elsewhere. read more

It's not too hard to get to, even though I made a few illegal U-turns to get here this morning for my inspection. When they say 7:30AM, you'll be pleased to know they mean it! My car had to be brought in for a possible recall to the power steering; not like that's a big thing! I was taken care of right away and decided to get my oil changed and my tires rotated. The waiting room isn't exactly warm, but has plenty of magazines to keep you busy if the TV doesn't do it for you. I wouldn't advise that anyone start here when searching to purchase any vehicle. From my 1st step in the door the customer service here was extremely POOR. This lot and showroom is a wreck. Extremely compact, with terrible salesmen. Situated on Sunrise Highway near dealer central is Gregoris. Worst dealership experience I've had in my 30 years of life having owned 3 vehicles. (MIND YOU: I am a NISSAN owner now BUT DID NOT PURCHASE from here. I came in with a loan pending from my MCU credit union, however, the salesman had a game plan to get me to apply for a higher interest rate with his Bank and told me my credit union denied me. LIE #1. That same week my bank called me and informed me of my approval and loan amount. Next , I attempt to get quotes using my AAA car buying program. Prices WELL over the amount researched. A discount price Over $30,000 for a car that's 3 years old ????? ::: INSERT 10 SIDEEYES:: LIE #2 When I went to test drive a 2013 Nissan Rogue the driveway was IMPOSSIBLE to move cars in and out. If you wanted to get bamboozled out of cash, you'll be dumb enough to shop here. If you're smart, you'll know your worth and prices, get in your car and drive 5 miles south to Rockaway Nissan! They changed the name of the dealership, yet still have the same employees that practice high pressure, bait & switch tactics. I went to Nissan of Rockville Centre with a friend after she had a terrible experience with a salesman there the day before. I walked in and asked to the GM, Ken was his name. I explained to him how the day before my friend spent 9 hours there trying to buy a car, she has a 801 credit score yet the salesman could not tell her what the APR would be. She picked a car & they gave her 1 price, then pushed her to get a different car ( bc that particular car was sold) ( same car more safety features ) ( played the your a single mom, don't you want your kids to be safe in the car ) it was just a few dollars more your kids are worth it ( Then they don't have that 1 ) but they have this other 1 that has even more safety features and yes its just a few dollars more!!! The worse part is my friend while trying to buy 1 of 3 different cars, gave Nissan 8,500 dollars to put down on this magic safety car, but after sitting at the dealership for 9 hours not getting any real information and feeling extremely pressured to buy a car that's way out of anyone's budget. ( Over 800 dollars a month ) Somehow tier 1 financing 7.9% APR -We found this out the next day, anyway my friend asked for her down payment to be returned 8,500 dollars. Ken tried and said anything to save the sales, but the experience was just so bad. She just wanted out of there, but wait there's more, it is now two and a half weeks later and still no refund. ( ( Jan. 13th & 14th ) So if you are thinking of buying a Nissan, do yourself, your family and your friends a favor. Go any place else, I am going to report you guys to better business bureau. Absolutely worthless I really cannot recommend these folks 1st of all they lied to me about the car when I went to go buy one

This review is for the Subaru Service portion of the Gregoris Nissan/Subaru Parts & Service center. Starting off with the good, I have never had a problem with the parts counter at Gregoris Subaru. I have always been able to get fluids and small parts in a pinch, and ordering some other odds and ends like touch up paint via phone have never been a problem. I even got a discount on fluids once because I had to wait a few minutes for the adviser to hold inventory check in the back of the parts department. Moving forward to service. I had second-hand experiences with this place shortly after I passed my road test. Friend of mine had an old Nissan 240sx years ago that had faulty seat belts, traced to wiring. But the service department would not touch the car without signing off on diagnostic fees, which my friend had to fight to be removed from the invoice. They refused to replace the seat belt motors, saying only the belts themselves were covered under warranty. The faulty wiring was corrected after troubleshooting the system, but not without some pain on my friend's end. The car was sold shortly thereafter, and now that car is part of history. Now onto the present. This service center still provides service the "old school" way. Normal dealers allow for appointments to be set up. For example, with my Acura. I call a week in advance, speak to a courteous receptionist who takes down my VIN and name/number, and confirms me for an appointment at whatever time is most convenient for me. I drive up at the time of my appointment, the porter takes my car and keys, and I sip on one too many cups of the delightfully generic but pleasant tasting coffee in the bright waiting room. Gregoris Subaru, well...no such appointments exist. You want service? Well the service center opens at 7:30AM. Want to get in and out as soon as possible? You drive up to the garage door EARLIER than 7:30, and wait in line. Yes, in the year 2015 where technology is abundant, you must wait in line like Oliver Twist, waiting at the mercy of the dealership. Right. Okay fine, so I've been to this dealer twice now to complete recall work on my Subaru WRX, and the second time I tried to beat the system. Get this, I used Subaru's online reservation system to schedule an appointment, and was immediately greeted with a reply saying my reservation was confirmed for 8AM on a Saturday. For safe measure, I fell in line like the peasant I am in front of the garage door at 7:30AM, and was impolitely greeted by the service adviser at the desk inside the 1970's-esque, wood-paneled room (classy!). Cue heavy Brooklyn accent: Adviser: "Oh we dun do recawls on weakendz". Me: "I'm sorry Ma'mm, I scheduled the recall work online after receiving the "Urgent Recall Notice" in my email inbox and the appointment was confirmed" Her: "Oh we dun use da onlyne system, we normally dun do recawls on weakendz, but I'll put yah through anyway, you gotabout 10 carz behind yah" Both recalls were done in about an hour's time. It would have gone faster if not for the service technicians moving slowly as if they had not eaten breakfast. Perhaps I should have gotten him a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel. Even after the second recall was complete, I was still dumbfounded by the fact that this Subaru dealership doesn't seem to pay attention to something called The Internet. I was seriously about to ask the service adviser on the other end of the counter three questions: 1. What year was she living in where she was unaware of online reservation systems. 2. Was the word "reservation" present in her mental dictionary. 3. How old was the fake wood paneling on the walls of the service center. At the end of it all, I'm appalled that dealers like this still exist today. The days of waiting outside in line should be long gone, and waiting rooms that look like your grandmother's basement should only be a figment of your imagination at this point. You figure for the way this service center tries to nickel and dime every customer that walks through the door, they could at least afford a Keurig that dripped out coffee that didn't taste like soil. (they tried to get me for a tire patch the first time I visited, went home the short stubby nail was in the "meat" of the tire and it was pulled right off with no problem). I can't say I trust this service center. I never let my car out of my sight here. I end up going here to keep my recall work updated and consistent. All other mechanical work that I need complete, I go to an independent mechanic shop of my choice. Good Subaru dealers are hard to come by in New York. If you must have your Subaru serviced, I recommend you look elsewhere. read more

My husband went here a couple of years ago to buy a car saleman told him it would be impossible to get a car with his credit score. Guess what? This was the only place that denied him. Didn't even bother with us. Forward to 4 years got a letter from Nissan that my car needed a part changed out due to a recall. They transferred me like 3 different times took down my VIN number 3 more times then they tell me their parts office was closed so they couldn't tell me if they had the part or not. They closed at 5:00 it was 5:02...really? Took down my info told I would be called back its been a week and no call. What a waste of time. Don't bother with this place. read more

Came here because it was close to work and on the last day before my inspection ran out so was in a bind. Let's just say I will not be going back. I never seen a Nissan Dealership have the Service center miles away and around the corner so I found that a little sketchy from the jump. The place is basically a old family garage dump that slapped a Nissan/Subaru sign on the front hidden away in the back blocks. Say what you want about the Nissan in garden city but I never had any problems taking my lease there, the workers behind the desk could be a little nicer at GC but at least they actually look like a authentic Nissan service center with a decent lounge area and etc. Waiting on the car line 7:00am on a busy residential street just to get into the tiny narrow driveway was a complete joke, never seen that before either. Paid full price for my inspection when it's usually $10 for me. Good thing I wasn't due for a oil change. Serves me right for not finding time and getting it done sooner in Garden City. Moral of the story is to save yourself a weird experience and take it to a Authentic Nissan Service Center. Made me appreciate Garden City Nissan a lot more. read more

Ive had my current truck for one year now. I use there service center for my oil changes and recalls. The only issue i had with them. They were short staffed one about a week ago so i had to leave my car and go home. I waited abt four hours then thought to go back so when they call i would be there already. But when i arrived at the shop my car hadn't been touched and the gentlemen told me that he was about to call and say he couldn't get it in. One star is too much! Bought a new $37k car with a dent in the side. Made an appointment to get it fixed and the rep knew what was required when I made the appointment. Got there on time and after several phone calls, Peter the rep, tells me they cannot fix it that day because the sales rep has to call the dent puller. I told them I had to leave the area in a few days and Peter told me that they probably couldnt get to it before I had to leave and my salesperson would call me. Went back home waiting for the phone call from my sales rep, Mike, which I never got. Called Mike myself and explained the situation. Got a new appointment the next day. Was a half hour early for my appointment. Sat waiting and forty minutes past my scheduled appointment, Peter tells me that the guy coming to fix my car is on his way, he is stuck in traffic. I live pretty far from the place and managed to get here in 30 minutes. I am calling BS on his excuse. Still waiting for him to show up after an hour and a half. Not a way to do business!..... This is just the experience with service. I paid cash for my vehicle and was told that my car was on a boat to Boston and would be here in one week. Mike didn't follow up with me. I had to keep calling and it took almost two months for me to get my car. I almost cancelled the purchase of the car. This experience has taken the joy out of owning a car that I have waited to purchase for over 10 years. read more

I cannot stand coming here, it is such a pain in the neck, and I've only come here twice so far. The first time I was here, it took Maria 3 days to fix my car, and she did not offer me a complimentary ride, which I did not know was an option until the manager called me for a followup after my car was fixed. Additionally, after my car was fixed, she told me to bring back the spare key so she could reprogram it, which she said would take 20 minutes. 2 weeks ago, I called ahead regarding reprogramming the key and she said that I could come any time the following week as long as I called ahead. The following week, I called ahead and she said that she was too busy for that day and the rest of the week to help me. She then told me to come the following Tuesday before 9:30. Monday afternoon, she called me telling me that I had to come at 7:30 the next morning instead of 9:30. This was a ridiculous chain of events that could have been prevented had she just told me to make an appointment instead. At 7:30 the following morning, I waited for 20 minutes in line. There was a couple before me in line who did not know they wouldn't have a car for the rest of the day and she did not offer them a complimentary ride either. They were distraught. When it was finally my turn, she told me that it would now take an hour to reprogram my key and I now sit here with the other couple Maria screwed over while writing this review for the next hour. Maria is severely unprofessional and incompetent at basic customer service. The manager was nice, but not nice enough to undo what Maria did. I will not be coming back here again. read more

This has to be the worst dealership on Long Island. I had the pleasure of having parts stolen from my car unbeknownst to me by a tow company. I never authorized them to remove my parts obviously. I dealt with a female rep who was saying one thing to me but telling my insurance company that I had improper repairs done on my brand new car. I can understand the insurance company being stupid and not comprehending that a brand new car covered under warranty wouldn't need radiator repairs. However, if Nissan believes their cars would require radiator repair after 25,000 miles then that should be another conversation. The car had no trouble and no reason to be repaired. Yet, she still advised them that it was improper repairs done instead of theft after I informed her that I believed the tow company stole my parts. She defended them because " it doesn't make sense for anyone to do that". I guess it made sense for me to get improper repairs done on a brand new car that is still covered under warranty. Not the sharpest tools in the shed obviously! How dare you insinuate that I am trying to commit insurance fraud. The car has about 25,000 miles on it and it's a leased car. What idiot would have their own damn radiator removed and replaced on a car covered under warranty .The only service the received was the oil changes. Gregoris does not do my oil changes because I am not obligated to have them change my oil. However, my oil change guy is reputable and has better customer service then they ever will. If I had any issues with my radiator or check engine light I would of brought it back to the dealership because I am covered under warranty. I brought the car to my dealership when a check engine light came on for the first time . They informed me that my radiator was swapped out and my cooler was gone causing my transmission to overheat. When I told them the only people who had my vehicle long enough to do it was a tow company. They treated me like a criminal the entire time. The service rep kept saying I don't know why anyone would do that because it takes a lot of labor. Well I'm not a mechanic but I'd say 9 days should be enough time to steal parts out of someone's vehicle. Due to them giving erroneous information to my insurance company, they denied my claim based on what the dealership told them. I lost use of my vehicle for a month due their statement and I still don't have use of my car. I have the pleasure of fighting with my insurance company to refute what Gregoris told them. What pissed me off the most is when I had to call the police for a police report, the two faced representative refused to cooperate with the police. I didn't ask her to accuse anyone. I simply asked her to explain what the dealership found since they are mechanics and I am not and wanted my police report to be accurate. They couldn't speak with the police but was sure to defame my name by telling my insurance I had improper repairs done and not theft. So, my car is basically burglarized and they basically insinuate to my insurance company that I am committing fraud.I'd love to ask them what made them think such a thing. The manager was infuriated that I called the police to get a police report as my insurance required. He told the two faced rep that he wanted my car off the lot and demanded that I pay the storage fees because my car was taking up space . Mind you, I was waiting for my insurance to cover the theft. They denied the claim because Gregoris gave them erroneous information. I did indeed do what the manager asked and removed my car from his lot. They left the car's bottom piece disassembled. I did not drive it in that way, they literally placed the piece in my back seat. They will be paying for any damages caused. I called the manager to ask about policy and procedure and the he never called me back. Talk about terrible customer service skills. They will never get my business again! read more

I purchased a used car and I was very unhappy with the service I received. I would never buy a car here again.

If it was possible to give them 0 stars I would. I was referred to this dealership from a salesman from another dealership because he was friends with the manager. The manager, Bob, who is no longer with them was nice and understanding. He would attempt to help in anyway he could. Now that he's gone this place is terrible. My first experience with a service writer there was terrible. I was dealing with someone with a half of a brain. The next two times I went I got Maria as my service write. She seemed alright, kinda moody and definitely not in any rush to finish my receipt and get me out of there. I called and spoke to Maria when I had an emergency with my car and she gave me some nonsense run around and told me that I had to wait three days to bring the car in. I explained that I'm a teacher, couldn't take a day off for the car and that needed to get to work. She could careless, didn't help problem solve, and was terrible with customer service. Then I call today for an issue that will take 20 minutes on a Saturday morning and be covered by my warranty-- first I get the "know it all" receptionist who by the way knows nothing, then I get the phone call back from Maria explaining that they can't do any diagnostic work on a weekend because they're only there until 1pm, and the "know it all" receptionist tried to tell me that they wouldn't be able to get I touch with the warranty company on a Saturday. So what did I pay all that money for a Nissan warranty? I called Nissan corporate, made a complaint and got set up for a Saturday diagnostic appointment that will be covered by my contract. Gregoris is terrible. They have terrible customer service and they change their service management like they change their underwear. Catch a clue! You guys get bonuses based on customer service. 2013 Altima was brought in for inspection, oil change, 2 recalls plus an annoying squeak when reversing. Service Dept had the vehicle ready for pickup the same day. My only complaint is the synthetic oil change cost, $108 minus $25 discount. The service department staff should post or review verbally with the customer standard repair costs at time of vehicle drop off. The oil change price is on higher portion of the scale. I had a similar job performed on my new Honda Odyssey that same week for 1/3 that price. I did appreciate that the service director did return my call to discuss my grievance. read more

Service center does not provide transportation to all areas. I work only 9 miles away from the service center and they would not provide transportation for me. They also do not provide mechanic service other than oil changes and inspections on Saturdays, which is very inconvenient for people who work during the week. I had to resort to get my car fixed through a local mechanic who cost me $$$$. The repair would have been covered under warranty. I asked to be reimbursed through Nissan's Consumer Affairs but they declined to do so. The customer service department at the service station was also very nasty. I am a long time Nissan customer but based on my recent experience I will no longer continue to lease my cars through Nissan. read more

Treated with disrespect and scorn by the service staff. Told my car would be in for the day when all I initially required was the ABS and engine lights checked out so the service need could be told to me. They tried to charge me double what it cost for the only part I agreed to to be installed. When I said I would wait for it I was informed it is normally a service that takes all day. I was never told this and when I was dismayed by this I was begrudgingly informed they had a courtesy van. Not before. I had heard other customers offered a van as well as coupons by the two associates of the man I dealt with. I can't say it often enough. AVOID this business. I only wish I had read these reviews first. I will also add that I had originally tried to look into buying a new subaru from the sales department but was COMPLETELY ignored when I went to the salesroom two months ago. worst service department ever. i have a 2012 nissan altima and everytime i bring my vehicle in for servivce i get nothing but the run around from the service department. everytime i have an issue with my vehicle, i.e. transmission, noises, clamps breaking, they either cant find it, or they say its normal.. my family owns a few of the same year and model nissan altima, and clearly if their cars arent experiencing this problem and mine is, theres an issue. there have been times i had to actually get up underneath my vehicle and show the mechanic where the broken parts are, because he is so lazy and cant find it himself. i do not recommend using this dealer to fix your nissan if you value your time and your sanity. read more
