I've been seeing Priscilla for many years and her highlights in my hair are so skillful that everyone thinks I am a natural blonde. I can't imagine ever going to any other colorist. As a person, she is warm, delightful, and a great conversationalist with a loving heart. I have great respect for her as a business woman as well who treats her clients with kindness and always "goes the extra mile" when necessary. I think she could open a school to help train hairdressers to do their best work as well providing a professional and caring atmosphere while working. Priscilla is the most talented hair stylist and colorist I've ever visited. After not coloring my hair at all for 3+ years, I went to Priscilla for a fresh look and I am BEYOND thrilled with the results. I'm a new mom who doesn't have a ton of time to spend on hair up-keep, so it was important to me that whatever I did to my hair would be natural looking and easy to maintain and Priscilla absolutely NAILED it. Had a wonderful person I went to for 10+ years, moved to Boston about 6 years ago and it was one bad hair experience after another one - expensive salons, private stylists, from beacon hill to the burbs....no one could get me back to what I wanted to be - blonde with highlights! People tried to sell me balayage, did fancy things...but it always looked terrible right after or 2 weeks in. These horrors are in the past now that I found Priscilla - she listened carefully, looked at the photos and got exactly what I was going for. I am so excited to write this review, as I can't say better things about Priscilla Collins! I met Priscilla years ago when my mother told me it was time to get a true professional to highlight and cut my hair. I had many terrible experiences with others in the past and Priscilla promised to turn it all around....and boy she didn't disappoint! Since the color correction on my first visit, Priscilla transformed my multicolor highlights to subtle perfection that looks as natural as my hair used to as a kid. She's truly talented. I have sent over half a dozen friends to see Priscilla and all of them have made her their exclusive stylist as well. Of course it should come as no surprise that she also did my hair, as well as hair for my seven bridesmaids AND my mom, on my wedding day. Priscilla was the most amazing wedding hairstylist and became a true friend! I absolutely recommend her for your wedding. She was very friendly, very flexible and very professional. I got to know Priscilla over a series of phone calls and hair trials. Priscilla is very special, because she doesn't only think about your hair, she thinks about how to make your wedding day preparations as relaxed and stress-free as possible...not to mention fun! I moved to Boston 6 years ago, and one of my first things I set out to do was find a stylist. I didn't have to search long and when I found Priscilla's site, I knew she was the one. And boy was I right! She has been cutting and coloring my hair for the entire 6 years -- not one other person has touched my hair since we met in August of 2012. I have never and will never go anywhere else -- I trust Priscilla completely with my hair. She has consistently proven herself to be of immense talent, professionalism, creativity, and kindness too! Each time I get my color done or my hair cut, it's my favorite. Her knowledge when it comes to corrective color or processing cannot be overstated. My hair has red undertones, and she always takes my hair platinum without issue. The products she uses are top of the line, and she manages to keep her prices for services reasonable. I would gladly pay triple for what she accomplishes with my hair. Besides being a talented stylist, Priscilla provides a welcoming environment to visit, and treats each customer with respect and kindness. She listens to the needs of each person and is able to create looks that never fail to impress. It is a rare day that I don't receive multiple compliments or inquiries as to who does my hair. PRISCILLA IS AMAZING! I went to Priscilla after having a bad experience at a pricey Newbury Street Salon. I needed a color correction and cut that would tame my mane. I have a LOT of frizzy hair that is hard to control. I told Priscilla generally what I wanted (to be blonde, but less "bleached" looking, and that I needed a cut that would be fun yet professional). I also asked her for her input. She told me we could make the highlights brighter and warmer, and contrast it with darker highlights. She also told me that the old salon had cut my ends far too bluntly and that she would soften them, especially the edges around my face. Needless to say, my high expectations were fulfilled! I LOVE my color, and oh, the cut! It cuts down on blowdrying time in the morning and now my hair actually has movement. Priscilla was so nice and welcoming and lovely to chat wtih---not stuffy at all. I couldn't be happier and STRONGLY recommend that anyone in Boston need of a little boost give Priscilla a call! Where do I start?? This woman is a freakin' rockstar. After a LONG and lengthily search for my wedding hairstylist I finally found Priscilla on one sunny day in Boston. I was reading about her on a wedding blog, the reviews were overwhelmingly positive, and I had to see her. I walked in showed her my vision and within minutes she knew exactly what I wanted and how she was going to do it. AND, I am a brunette and wanted soft caramel highlights for my wedding day. My long island salon couldn't get it right and I had horrible brassy blonde highlights that seemed to get worse and worse as every day went by. A week later, I visited Priscilla to correct my color. She put warm caramel panels in my hair and honestly I walked out and never.looked.better. My husband picked me up from the train station and was immediately like "WOW, you look beautiful."
