The best of all they offer for me is Albert Templehoff, my hair dresser. He is superior in color and is a certified expert (teacher) in Yuko and Keratin (my favorite) for straightening my crazy mop of hair. When Albert is working on your hair, you have his focus. He looks at your hair color with an artist's eyes, looking to create in a bowl ! all the highlights and dimensions possible from a bottle. Albert is excellent at cutting hair, noting your shape of face, preferred lengths, and usually will back off and let you have your way, unless he thinks you are crazy! - then he'll give it a go, telling you the merits of his preferences - and if you still are locked on your own way, he will go with your preferences - which is really a boon to me as I have had hairstylists cut then ask, which totally angers me. I am extremely picky about my hair and color but found an artist with Nikki Rodgers! I originally found her in Brookline but she is now at Sarpi salon and I am travelling all the way from S. Quincy to continue seeing her. Nikki is professional and fun, as well as having a great eye for hair styles and colors. I *always* get compliments on my hair after seeing her. She is very accomodating; I once sprung a desire to go platinum when I only had scheduled time for a cut and color. She worked around it and I left the salon on my way to becoming a bombshell blonde! (not that I recommend doing that to Nikki, but a good example of her flexibility) I highly recommend Nikki for your hair stylist needs. The salon is also really great, offering nail services, waxing and facials which I plan on taking advantage of when I'm there next. Albert is my hairdresser. My favorite part of my experience getting my hair done with Albert is his keen eye for color- from fancy highlights to colors with dimension, Albert is a master. He listens well to your preferences and will give you the plusses and minuses to your ideas. His cuts are great. But bring along your tissues because he'll make you laugh so hard you'll cry. Cindy is my manicurist and she is terrific! I love how particular she is.... But her pedicures are the absolute luxury of offerings. A true spa experience.
