    I paid $200 for a consult and perm. Not bad I thought. The consult was good. I came back a month later for the perm and the stylist had no memory of our prior consult, asked me all the same question, and was rude and insulting. But...I wanted a perm and she was teaching and her student was sweet and eager. so I stayed. Actual she was a good teacher...just bad at customer service. I asked multiple times...what should I buy to keep my perm, style my perm etc as I've never had one before and don't have any styling products at home. Even said I'd buy whatever she recommended. she said oh...just go home and play. you'll be fine. Well I waited the 3 days plus a little to be safe and then washed my hair....and guess what....the curl is gone from large chunks of my hair. Panicked I call and ask what happened. She says it's just your hair. Nothing can be done. She can't redo it. she didn't even offer a refund (not even partial). So I asked can I send you a picture so you can see what I'm talking about. Sure she says. Well that was close to an hour ago and we'll...I'm still waiting. Below are 2 pictures....1 from Saturday when I got home (with curls) and one today after shower and adding product, and scrunching (no curls). Moral don't go here unless you want to lose money and be treated rudel. FYI- stylist was Karen....she's been doing this for 20+ years

    They may cancel or confirm your appointment without letting you know!!! They don't care you or your time! I love this place so much that I kept going back even though I moved to Boston. But recently it really upsets me. I booked an appointment on online through it's booking system two weeks ago. And two days ago, I received a message told me mute appointment is canceled. Three hours later, someone from front desk called me. She: Your appointment is canceled, but we have an opening on Friday, do you want to come? Me: I cannot make it on Friday. I only can go there on Saturday because I live far away from there. Why my appointment is canceled? She: became she is already overbooked at that day. It is before holiday so she is busy. Me: ??? I was able to make an appointment online. She: Your appointment is bang trim but Nikki thinks you don't have a bang. Me: I do, and I only need a bang trim. She: But Nikki is not the person who cut your Bang, she is not able to trim it. Me: ok. I would appreciate more if you can tell me earlier instead two days ahead. As you know it's holiday season and everyone is busy. If you tell me earlier, I could find someone else to do the bang trim. She: you just made the appointment a few days ago. Me: Two weeks ahead. She: ok. I will put you on cancellation list. Then she hang up!!!!!!!!!!!!! I decided not go there any more. Somehow, I received a text again telling me my appointment is confirmed???? I didn't respond since it's so ridiculous. Today, I received the text again!!!!! I called the place back three times immediately, the first one was hanged up. Second was picked up and hanged up again. This really upset me. Whoever wants to have a haircut before a special occasion should trust the communication system here!

    Worse place to bring your children for any type of service. they charge adult prices and give horrid uneven cuts, they have very little care of their clientele who they can't try and hit on for a date, so obviously kids are what they hate. I contacted salon owner to see about fixing the cut and was told we are not their type of people ... funny my green cash was their type the day before! Wish I could post pictures here but can't, so you can see my wonderful 3 year olds DRUNKEN hair cut on their Facebook review! Your stylist was shown this picture at start of EACH 3 visits first 2 he was fidgety but decent cut this time he was calm and quiet watching movie on phone. How were my expectations not clear? How was his quietly watching movie on iPhone so difficult for your stylist to work around? Maybe owning he got a crappy cut and offering to fix? No you refused when I asked! How about apologize? Or not charging me for this lawnmower haircut! I want everyone to see you try to shame and blame a 3 year old! Again he was more difficult 2 other times but got a good cut this time he's calm and she butchered it! And Meghan you were so disrespectful to me on the phone! Horrific management skills. I simply called looking to get it fixed and you treated us like we are homeless vagrants trying to book a room at the Hilton ! "We aren't your type of clientele"

I can usually go at least 6-8 weeks without needing a wax with minimal tweezing maintenance in between. I seek expert help when I notice that my brows are slightly unsymmetrical in photos (see attached) and to the point that I don't know what to do to fix them. I recently moved to the Weymouth area and Kathie's proximity + glowing 5 star reviews suggested she'd be the right one to get me back on track. I requested an appointment here on Yelp and she responded within minutes giving me times to choose from. I saw her the next evening. It's never an easy feat when someone new is about to alter one of your most important facial features, but she made me feel comfortable right away by thoroughly explaining and showing via a mirror not only what she was going to do but also why. We also discussed my medical history that might affect the sensitivity of my skin. She brought out shape ideas that were hiding in my mismatched brows that open up my eyes and frame them even better than before. The result is attached, and I only fill them with powder. She's also very reasonably priced - the same as most waxing services I've gotten. Looking forward to radiating my renewed brow confidence and having Kathie maintain them.

Unfortunately, because of school and work, my schedule got messed up and I had to start seeing the other tech and eventually the owner. The other tech did not meet my expectations at all. The next visit, the tech I liked was not working again, so I let the owner do my brows. Since she had another client mid-appointment, she asked if I was okay with the other tech finishing my lip service, and I said yes, no problem. Once everything was done, I immediately noticed my brows were uneven and off. I asked the other tech when the girl I liked usually works because, honestly, yall keep fkn up my brows. The owner, while actively working on someone else, jumped in defensively saying she did not fk up my brows and started listing how many years she has been doing brows etc talking to her client and not me! I told her plainly that my brows did not look like this when I walked in and that I asked for a simple clean-up. She continued going on and on about her experience, how she never fkd up anyone's brow talking with her clients as if I'm not there. Getting validation from her client. She obviously probably rushed my brows because she knew she had a client coming or something ...? I explained clearly that I came in with symmetrical brows and was walking out with two completely different shapes. Instead of taking accountability, she kept talking in circles to cover herself. I paid and left because I was not going to argue in the shop. A week later, my aunt, who also goes there with me, told me the owner was talking about me behind my back, asking where I was and mocking that I said she fkd up my brows like I was lying... First of all, why are you discussing another client with a different client? That alone is wildly unprofessional. Second, I am sure I can not be the first person to tell you that you did a bad job. Being the owner and having years of experience does not make you perfect or incapable of making mistakes. All she had to say was that she did her best and move on. Instead, she dragged it out, ran her mouth, and decided to talk trash about me to someone she thought was my friend. That friend is my aunt. I kept my cool in the moment, but do not get it twisted. Talking badly about clients behind their backs is distasteful behavior for a business owner. Completely lame, unprofessional, and unacceptable. I'm literally walking around letting my brows grow into a full bush just to fix the damage from the last bad job, and now the owner went and messed them up too. 2.5 weeks without my brows done. That alone is frustrating enough. But to then hear that she's still talking shit and running her mouth about me? That's beyond upsetting. I'm the one stuck walking around with uneven brows because of their work, yet she has the nerve to mock it like it's a joke. It's embarrassing, disrespectful, and honestly infuriating. I'm dealing with the consequences on my face while she's busy talking instead of taking accountability.
