I saved it for my birthday week to make it really special. The salon is beautiful. An attractive brick building on the outside, then three floors of salon and spa to get you glowing from head to toe. The build out is very high end with new hardwoods, cool lighting and nice equipment. When I walked in all the people working there were super nice and even gave me a tour. Cassie was my massage therapist. The room we used was very tranquil. Soft music, flowing water, soft candle light and a warm massage table. No clutter and impeccably clean. Before we started she sat down with me to go over my questionnaire and see if I had any specific areas of concern, then asked about what kind of pressure I was looking for. The massage was wonderful. She spent time getting in spots and taking out knots. She started off with some neck work, then spent time all over, then finishing with my back. She didn't talk unless it was asking me to move. I was completely relaxed and would recommend her services. It was the best massage I ever had. While I was doing my massage my boyfriend tagged along for a mens pedicure I convinced him to book . He said it was the best foot treatment of his life. The woman doing it, Penny, really took her time and his feet looked like new when I saw them later in the day. He is not one to go for pedicures often but said he felt so comfortable he would go back frequently. The downstairs has a nice manicure and pedicure area. I plan to come back and get one sometime as well as another massage. I'm so glad I found this place. I highly recommend it to for salon and spa services or even to give someone an impressive gift certificate for the holidays, it would be a classy choice.

Castilli Salon, even though they're practically booked for the summer, squeezed me in for an appointment with Lauren within a week of me desperately looking to get my hair fixed. To fit me into her schedule, she also worked out of her availability and stayed late on a Friday!! Like what!! It wasn't even like I was a loyal client. I was just a desperate new client looking for any help with my hair. Lauren truly took the time to understand what I wanted I was hoping to achieve hair color wise prior to coloring. She was super knowledgeable, told the truth (for example, we didn't do low lights because she didn't want to damage my hair after recently getting it colored at a different salon a week ago), and really took her time to make sure I got what I wanted. I've never felt so comfortable at a salon right from the jump. Melissa is awesome too and it felt like I was hanging with my two friends while getting my hair done. I loved that Lauren is a perfectionist and didn't let me leave until we were both satisfied. The staff ruined my nails by improperly scraping off a gel manicure. They barely left the acetone…read moreon at all and then scraped harshly, leaving my previously perfectly strong/healthy nails in a brittle, thin, flaky mess. I had never had a gel manicure removed before, so I was wary and unsure of how the process was supposed to go, but I could immediately tell this was wrong. When I questioned the technique and pointed out that the nail tech was damaging my nails, the other staff woman who was advising me got an attitude. She also had the nerve to suggest I get another gel manicure to cover and strengthen my now-damaged nails. No, thank you. I immediately went to another salon and recounted my experience, and they confirmed that they removed it incorrectly and too forcefully. I can only hope and pray that my nails grow back to their normal strength and health, but for now, they flake and chip at the slightest touch.

She took forever and it looked OK when I left. On closer inspection, my nails are filed crooked and three days later, the polish is lifting from around the tops of ny nails. Gel polish usually lasts me 2-3 weeks and still looks great. While I was there, a woman had a pedi and the manicurist cut her pretty badly and was so nonchalant about it - she could barely speak English so she couldn't understand what the client was saying. The place is pretty disorganized too. I'd skip this place and go elsewhere.
