My sister helped book an appointment ahead of time so we were able to get the whole salon to ourselves practically. We had a few changes to our "order" before coming in, but they were very accommodating. The studio itself is very clean! I was happy to see pre-packaged and pre-disinfected tools being used, and there was even regular sanitizing. We were all paired up with a stylist who were all very attentive to each of us and so accommodating. Two of my sisters got French manicures and I even noticed that their stylists checked in with them to see if they liked their styles before finishing up their whole hands. One of my sisters and my mother even accidentally smudged their toes when drying, but their stylists also fixed them at no additional charge. Overall, it was such a great experience! Shout out to Angela for the fantastic soft pink bridal nails!!

Now onto the make-up- my daughter showed a picture of what she wanted, very simple and not too overdone. What she came out with was not what she wanted at all and the coloring was way off. She also put on eyelashes that looked horrendous. The stylist was sweet but my daughter was just trying to get out of there as quickly as she could and was so upset. We ended up driving straight to Target to get makeup remover and all new products to do it all over again as we were on the way to get pictures done. The place itself is clean and nice but maybe we'd try it again for just hair and ask for plenty of hairspray.

I absolutely love this place! It is my weekly Self-care spot!…read more Why you may ask? I'll tell ya! A few years ago I had to cut my hair up to my chin because of how badly my hair had continued to break off and give itself a non intentional mullet looking cut. Gross right? And what was even grosser was the Well Water I had to use at home that made my hair break off even more, feel like straw and turn my blonde hair copper. I would have to go back monthly for my hair color to go back to platinum ashy blonde, use a purple shampoo religiously and wash my hair daily. For the past two years I had been trying to grow back my hair that was once long, thick, and healthy. And nothing was working, not even Biotin Vitamins. Ever since I started going to the Glossarie, I can go without dying my hair for 3 to 4 months. Holy Crap! Right? My last hair appointment was 40$ for a haircut. I usually have to spend over a hundred every time I go in there. The last time I spent 40$ on a haircut was maybe when I was in the 6th grade. Anyways.... It gets better! My hair that I use to wash daily, I now only wash twice a week. Once I wash it myself and the other time is at the Glossarie. But Wait.... there's more! My hair has grown significantly!!! Many people will ask me if I have extensions in because they don't believe that my hair could have possibly grown that fast.... but it did! I can now wake up, roll out of bed for work, and not have to touch my hair for 3 to 4 days. My hair is incredibly healthy and LONG! My hair color holds and I've even managed to get my hair back to its natural color. I've had many people go way out of their way to come up to me to comment on my hair color and ask where I get my hair done. (I literally had this lady that turned her car around in the parking lot to come drive by me and roll down her window to ask) Lastly, (I know you are probably thinking how could there possibly be more, but there is!) the IGK Product that they use is amazing. I have found myself to become a Product junkie purchasing a new IGK product every time I go in there. Courtney Steele is extremely informative when it comes to educating customers on the products that they use. Speaking of staff, they are great! I have my regular appointment weekly with the same hairstylist. I already have him scheduled out for the next two months as they have a easy app that allows you to schedule your own appointments at any time in the day and also modify your appointment if you need to! I could keep going on about how much this place has changed my life for the better. I wake up daily feeling confident and no longer embarrassed of my hair. #NoBunsNecessary I'm not usually even the type of person to write a review about a place, but I am just incredibly impressed.

This was awhile ago but I wanted to finally give my eternal gratitude…read more I came to Mane + Mani one day, late March 2018, when I had been shopping around the Lynnfield Marketplace with my friend. I had just gotten out of the hospital a few days prior, and had been suffering from a serious bout of depression. I, embarrassingly, hadn't washed my hair in quite awhile. I felt gross walking around in public, even though I had a hat on. I looked up on my phone hair salons and came across this one (because I thought this was a nail salon lol) so I called in and asked if I could come in for just a hair wash. I said that my water was turned off, because I couldn't bring myself to admit that I had no excuse for such dirty hair. I was so embarrassed and humiliated, but when I came in, the woman (I wish I could remember her name) washed my hair with no judgment present. She talked to me and asked me about my day and if I had found anything good to buy at any of the shops. It was the most wonderful experience. It was so kind and genuine. When the wash was over, I was told I didn't have to pay. I want to thank you all for what you did for me this day. Your kindness outshone any badness in the world that day. Thank you. I apologize for lying about my water being turned off also, because I feel like that should be said. Im leaving this review though, so the people out there can understand and know how wonderful the people working here are. Thank you.

So disappointed, I tried calling the salon and they don't have a voicemail machine. So unfortunate, I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding this weekend and my nails are trashed after spending $55 (just a gel mani with no tips or removal) + a tip for the lovely lady doing my nails. Wish I NEVER WASTED MY MONEY HERE. The salon was cute but filled with hairspray making it hard to breathe while trying to relax and get a manicure. Not to mention that how cold the ac was blaring, bring a jacket so you don't freeze to death. Definitely NOT the vibe you'd look for in a good salon. EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED AND UPSET WITH MY RESULTS.
