Her goal is really to treat you effectively so that hair is eliminated, and you don't have to continue to come back for unending courses. She took the time to hear my concerns and tailored the settings according to each body part. Her office is clean and her machine is new (pics attached). I have had such a great experience with Raya and BLC. I came in about 2 years ago with pretty low expectations on what could be done for my crazy ingrown hairs and razor bumps. I have always wanted to try laser because waxing really hurts. A good friend of mine recommended Raya, the owner and specialist of Bagardi Laser. I've gotten to know Raya over the past 6 months and her office is very clean and sanitized. She is very knowledgeable, patient and passionate. I am so pleased with how my treatment has gone. I never had laser hair removal before, and have spent my life struggling with shaving, waxing or epilating my dark underarm hair. This is the first time I've tried laser, and I've been thrilled with the results! I got my underarms done after finding a Groupon discount, and bought 6 sessions for a super reasonable price. I previously had a thick hair, discoloration, and general darkness in the area and after 6 sessions, my hair growth is 5% of what it used to be (still waiting on regrowth after my last session) and is so much thinner and not noticeable at all. I used to have to shave every other day in the summer (and still felt self conscious about stubble, darkness, ingrowns, etc.) but now I shave AT MOST twice a month (!) and it's just peach fuzz at this point. I was scared of the pain and it did hurt a bit for me, but it's over so quickly that it's well-worth the results. Raya was very knowledgeable about hair growth cycles and what results to expect, and was very COVID-conscious which was amazing. I didn't benefit from having treatment at this center at all. Such a waste of money and time. She is experienced and knowledgeable in the topic so you can ask her plenty of questions before each time you do service. And she's very courteous and accommodating. Four of my eight appointments have been ten-fifteen minutes late. The first the door was locked and the girl didn't show up until five minutes after the appointment. Raya is truly amazing. The whole laser treatment is life changing. I've never been happier about a purchase, the investment is 100% worth it. A lot of girls at my work go to other laser centers and have a completely different experience, and I found out it's because other laser centers are using "skin rejuvenation" lasers, rather than actual hair removal lasers, which is what Raya uses. When I first came in, Raya sat down with me to explain exactly how the process works. I appreciated this because she was so detail oriented and it was important for her to know I understand everything fully before we got started. She also has another fancy machine that blows really cold air at the same time the laser is working so it's actually not that painful at all. Also, it goes by so fast and she chats with you the entire time, so you don't even notice how fast time goes by. You can be in and out of her office in less than 7 minutes and get your entire Brazilian done perfectly. I've gone twice now (I have a package for 6 sessions) and I haven't had to shave once (it's been like 8 weeks). Can you imagine not even having to think about shaving for that long? It's amazing.
