I want to take the time to share my highest recommendation for Lyndsay at Salon Rouge. 3 months ago I went to a new hair stylist (in fall river) for foils (as I usually do) and she really overprocessed my hair. So bad in fact my hair no longer curls and I lost so much of it. I waited 3 months to let my hair grow out. I met Lyndsay for a hair trial for my wedding and it went amazing. She did a fantastic job. She did the loose curl look thay many stylists cannot do. In fact - my hair stayed curled for 3 days until I washed it out!! She did fantastic. It was not weighted down and was perfect. We discussed my highlights and she suggested to tone and do a touch up of the roots. She also helped me order hair extensions and dyed them to match my hair color. When I got my hair colored she did a fantastic job. I have never had my hair done so well where I literally had no Brown root at all. I went back to Lyndsay last week to pick up my extensions and have her put them in and style them for my engagement photo shoot. Again - fantastic job. Overall I am very glad I met Lyndsay and she was able to fix my hair!! She is obviously extremely knowledgeable and definitely knows her stuff!! read more

I had to share the incredible experience I just had with Lyndsay Oliveira again! Just met with her again, and she definitely worked her magic. This time, we explored the color process of Balayage. I have never had this done and was ready for a fun change. She consulted with me through the entire process so I felt comfortable with it. The outcome was amazing! Starting with pretty dark brown hair turning out a soft and flattering caramel with touches of blonde. Not to mention, we also freshened up my shoulder length hair with a stylish Angled Bob. Crystal Andreas has been cutting my hair for years and I can say without reservation that she is far and away the best stylist I've ever visited. I am not a big money client, needing only a cut - no colorings, extensions, etc. - and always receive the same care and courtesy as those more " interesting " clients. The shop is friendly, well-managed, clean and reasonably priced. I have had facial waxing from Anne Marie and pedicures from Donna. So I just moved to the area I'm just outside of Boston and I have Hair Extensions and I have been getting Hair Extensions for many years now to add length and volume to my hair and I have to say that I walked out of there today completely elated feeling like a new woman and like I no longer have to hide under baseball hats because the place I was going to for years did not take the time nor use the best highest quality here like Crystal my new and permanent hairdresser in this life and the "hair after". She took the time and I could also see that she was taking pride in what she was doing and that completely impressed me. I was really hopeful about this appointment. It had been a long time since I had been able to do anything with my hair so I was really excited for my appointment. I told the stylist when I got in the chair that I wanted to go very short with my hair but wanted some guidance as to what would look good for my face shape. I used the phrase that I wanted to "chop it all off" because the length was bothering me and just weighing down my short hair. Before she cut my hair she decided to do color. I showed her some pictures as to what I was looking for and she said she didn't have the time to do it. She said she could do darker end and some color on the ends which had aspects of what I wanted but definitely not the actual look I was trying to achieve. I was surprised based on what I was looking for that she didn't at least cut the length off my hair prior to coloring since I was looking to cut off 6-8inches. Basically she colored a lot of hair that ended up on the floor. While she was coloring my hair I asked her about the cut and going very short. She made this exact comment "people who say they want to cut off all their hair usually have something emotionally wrong and they should fix that." At that point I completely shut down because I was so uncomfortable and upset by the comment and judgment. I didn't feel comfortable at all speaking up for myself despite the fact that I didn't like what had happened to my hair at all. The color was very wrong and my hair was not short enough at all! I sent a message to the owner asking her to contact me to let her know what happened and see if we could fix my hair. I have not heard back from her yet. Very dissatisfied and upset by the whole experience! read more

I was in desperate need of several inches off my hair and I let Kelly do what she thought would be best. She added layers, angles, and made my hair look so much better and healthier. We were given another appt 2 days later which we paid another 65 for a second appointment instead of them resolving the problem for free which it should have been.
