This was my first visit to lavish nails and spa. I had previously been to other places with great disappointment and never went fir another pedicure for a long time until it got to the point were I couldn't do it myself. I decided to try lavish as I heard they don't rush through your pedicures, they listen to what you desire and they also let you leave them a message prior to your appt explain to them if any special concerns. I was great by Mike, the manager who was so pleasant to speak to and knew of my concerns as he had previously read my message to them prior to my appt, they do pay attention which is refreshing. The business had a nice calm flow to it, all the staff seemed very dedicated to their clients and clients looked happy when they left. I saw Emma fir my pedicure, she was very pleasant and took care of all my needs without rushing through the appt, which meant I was important and not just a number. Wow! This place is super clean, modern and everyone I've tried has been awesome! My daughter and friends come here too! If you just walk in or book with first available, you won't be disappointed! I personally see Cindy but if she's not available I'll trust any of the Nail Techs to take care of me! They seem to host several wedding parties and beauty nights out for people since it's big enough to do so! The customers seem VERY happy when I've seen this going on! I've been going to Lavish off and on for a little over a year. While the spa itself is beautiful and there are definitely some talented technicians, the consistency in service has been disappointing. I've made several attempts to book appointments online with specific techs who have great reviews, yet I often end up being assigned to someone else -- including a tech i specifically didn't book based off of a prior negative experience. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was the last straw. My nails came out incredibly crooked and uneven, and my fingers were swollen for several days afterward. They burned and itched, to the point I considered seeking medical attention. I really hope the salon improves its scheduling process and honors client requests for specific technicians in the future. read more

The hours that they are open go to 7 PM and they are open six days a week. My first appointment was last night with Nicky Nguyen... Boy, did I hit the jackpot! What a clean and well-run salon. I arrived for my 10am manicure with Cal. This is the first manicure I've gotten since the pandemic started, and before that I'd get my nails done every three weeks, so I was very excited! Cal did an incredible job. I'm a big stickler for a manicure that covers the sides of my nails and go as far down my nail bed as possible. Cal took the time to do this, not because I asked, but because she is talented and pays attention to these details. She's also really nice, which is a major bonus. My girlfriend arrived for our 11am pedicure, which Cal helped me pay for in a stealthy manner as it was a surprise for my friend's birthday. The lavish pedicure was amazing. Worth the price. The chairs have remotes built into the arm rest, which is also very convenient. I'd like to note: this place is clean, like sterile clean. We were not rushed at all, which was nice because part of a self-care day is to be a bit lackadaisical. Overall this was a great experience. It's also in the perfect location, halfway between me and my girlfriend. We are planning to make this our go-to place and resume our once per month nail-date. I highly recommend this place. They have an extensive color collection for whichever type of manicure you want... AND it's organized clearly! Shout out to Cal, thank you for the amazing mani-pedi, and for the great conversation. I went to lavish two days ago to get my nails done before I left for vacation. I got gel polish on my acrylics and the paint started chipping one day after. The surface of the nails are totally uneven and the top of the nails aren't filed correctly. The person doing my nails was having a hard time getting the gel to stay while at the salon because he wasn't giving it enough time under the light. Instead of fixing it he would just fill in the wholes quickly and then put top coat on again. Could be the reason it took less than a day for the gel to start lifting. Very disappointed. read more

As someone who isn't from the area, I thought it would be nice to give this business a chance but I regret doing so. I walked in without an appointment and kindly asked if I could get my eyebrows and a pedicure. I was told I would be able to. I was the only African American woman in this establishment. The nail tech who did my pedicure was nice but didn't speak to me other than to ask that I move my feet here and there and to say thank you. When I asked about my eyebrows, I heard two nail technicians saying they were busy. I offered to wait or come back later. I was told there was no availability from 11am until store closure at 6pm for me to get my eyebrows done. But I observed a White woman walk in workout an appointment and she was catered to and another individual called for an appointment and they were catered to. I'll never return here. My feelings are hurt. You shouldn't make people feel unwanted as an establishment. After leaving, realized the polish for my pedicure started to chip. I'm from the DMV area and won't return back to your business. If the ladies who knew how to do eyebrows were busy and behind with their appointments, then when I walked in and asked, someone could've easily said I'm sorry we are booked. I also explained when I walked in that I was okay if I couldn't be seen but the man said we can take it. read more

I just finish having my nails done with Jen. I couldn't be happier. I have never had someone pay so much attention to the shape of my nails. It was clear that she loves her business. She made me feel welcome, offered me a drink, and treated my like a friend she's known her whole life. The dip on my nails is the thinnest I have ever seen. I look forward to seeing how they wear.
