This has to be the worst nail salon I've ever visited. I wanted a manicure to clean up my cuticles. My hands were not soaked to make the cuticle more pliable. Also, they pulled on the cuticle and made my finger bleed badly. There was no filing or buffing of the nails. I will never be returning here. I asked for a gel manicure the technician quickly filed my nails then started immediately to paint them. I stated that's not a manicure usually they use the tools etc. she then pulled out the tools after some nails were painted. I said just forget it please I'll just get my nails painted and be on my way. I explained I just want to be charged for a color change please. I was charged $30.00. Clean. Spacious. Busy for a Thursday night. Lots of options. Good pricing. They did not have enough staff on for a Thursday night so I did have a 20 minute wait. But they did let me wait with my feet soaking in the warm water and massage chair- that's the way to do it! I just had a simple pedicure. For $30 it covered the heal damage, pumas and leg massage as well as a head, shoulder and neck massage as I was awaiting the paint to dry. Overall a nice experience. read more

I got a full set of the UV gel and they did an amazing job. Elsie (I may be spelling her name wrong) who only works on Saturdays, was very thorough and took her time. My nails were a mess and she made them look beautiful. She was so fun to talk to too! Yup, So I just found a new nail place, and I'm lovin' it. I decided to treat myself since this hot weather was driving me nuts. Long and short of it, the first shop has a young girl fresh out of school do dip nails. They really looked pretty bad. So I called Albert, at Hello. By then I was frantic. He got me in right away, and Pom who re-did them nailed it. The next day, I got a pedi by Yoyo who is such a darlin. she took her time, and I have never had a pedi like that before. It's well worth the money, and the little extras, like the back rubs and waters are a nice touch. Utensils are clean, the food network is going on the tv, and all the women and guys are very nice. Treat yourself. As I was leaving today, two little girls were getting their nails done. Patrick just did a nice French manicure on my feet. It's one of Plainville's best kept secret! read more

I've been going to Hello Nails for about 6 months now and I've really enjoyed going. I get dip every time and they last 3-5 weeks depending on the color. They do lift a little by the end of the month, but they're durable and don't crack or chip. The salon is always extremely clean and they are so timely. It is hard to find a place that runs on time and they always take you right when your appointment starts and I'm usually there for 45-60 minutes which is quick based on my experience at other places. I have nothing but great things to say about Hello Nails. From the service to the quality of work they do, it's all you'd want out of your nail salon. What's great is that it's consistently on point. All the technicians are super friendly and do really good work. The gel manicure is worth every dollar. They even give you a three minute massage towards the end of your service. I have found my go to salon. They even have a VIP program that allows you to collect points and earn perks throughout the year. I recently received a $5 off coupon for my birthday! It's a little more expensive than other places but worth it in the end. My only negative is the massage they give you. I've been a customer for over a year and had a pedicure today that wouldn't dry despite being under the dryer for 15+ minutes. As soon as I left the polish became smudged so I called for it to be fixed. Upon calling, I was told it's not their fault and I was told I needed to leave the technician a tip. I sent a tip over Venmo but they still refused to fix or acknowledge the lack of quality in their work. I just left this salon for the first time and had a very poor experience. I had a $65 pedicure that was very overpriced and of poor quality. Then I got a dip manicure which I have been getting for years at a different salon. This was the worst dip manicure I have ever received. She did not know how to do them and left them unfinished. I had to correct her and she had to ask someone else how to finish them. Then she left all the powder all over my fingers and did not clean them off at all. This manicure was $50 and I called back and requested a refund only to be met with an extremely unprofessional owner. He was rude and told me that he had would not give a refund because the girl said that the nails were perfect. That was not true and I have never complained about a nail skin in my life. Very poor customer service, rude and condescending manager and very messy services. I cannot believe I paid $130 for such poor nail services. Do not go there especially for a dip manicure. read more

First of all they always burn my nails when sanding them, but mostly since going I got fungus in my fingernails, not one but three, and they just continued to go over it, What bothers me the most is they would not of told me if I didnt notice myself, but when I did ask about it they just continued to do my nails, I said, I should take it all off and treat this. but they just kept on, like all they wanted to do was cover it. They told me I had to do a dark color cause it was a fill, which I thought was weird because they talk off the color, but it wasnt the color it was fungus and they wanted to cover it. and now other people will be using the same buffing tools they used on me which I think is disgusting. I get mistakes and a crappy nail job once in a while if they make good on it, but letting fungus go and just going over it is a health concern. I will say they are friendly enough, but Know they are not good on hygiene. I never ever had nail fungus, pay money to get my nails done for a wedding I was going to, to get fungus. And even if I wanted to say well Maybe it happens, but they just kept covering it not telling me, till I noticed, Always look when they are doing your nails, make sure they are using clean and sterilized tools, this doesnt go away over night. read more

I have not had regular mani's or pedi;s since COVID. As a diabetic, I have to be extremely careful with my feet and pedicures can be tricky. This salon was super clean, the soaking tubs were lined with a disposable liner. I asked my tech not to cut my cuticles and to be careful and she was. My nails look great. I had a lovely 1st experience today. I called in advance made an apt , maybe waited like 5 mins (if that )after picking my color to be taken to my chair. I got the honey pedicure I think it is? The first one above the basic basic . It was 5o bucks. And it was lovely , he didn't seem to rush or speed and that part was so nice. My only critique was the massage was more like an application vs massage. I felt like he was kinda jus rubbing his hands but not using really any pressure at all and he seemed to focus alot on my Shins , basically the front of my lower leg where there's mostly just bone, versus my tight /big calves I worked so hard to get my leggings over lol and feet that love rubs lol. I noticed the same thing w the scrub portion when they scrub the lower leg and foot, he really only scrubbed my lower leg but did not like scrub my feet w it . That part felt like I was missing out bc I generally don't even like the way the scrub feels on the leg it's usually uncomfortable for me but when they get to the feet it feels good bc your skin is much thicker on the feet vs your lower limbs. I never say anything bc usually they focus more on the feet and just work the scrub down the leg to the foot then hold the foot and like scrub the foot but this did not happen for me. It was solely shin focused lol. I don't think he realized it though . like he scrubbed my legs and then kinda cupped the water in his hands , up my shin rinse the scrub off from the lower leg ,but I don't think he realized he never picked my feet up and like focused the scrub to the feet. . But either way that was only things that could of improved slightly . Everything else was amazing. Hands and feet look cute , I was relaxed, bc when you feel your being cared for In a genuine manner, it doesn't matter if they are just patting your back it feels good... am I right? so I'm soley jus giving that little feedback to improve an already lovely experience :) I found the great service trumps any little areas of improvement i mentioned. They also seem really clean, a nice aesthetic and an awareness to customer care that you can feel when you are there! I really enjoyed my experience here and thank y'all for my mani and pedi! I recently stopped going because my nails looked horrible and the lady did not do the shaped I asked for. I normally will give a place a few chances but I knew I did not want her touching my nails again. For financial reasons I have been doing my own nails at home but every year I take my daughter for a pedicure for her birthday. Since I never had a pedicure here before I decided to try them. Got two pedicures- one lavender and one rose spa. Regular pedicure is $50 and the speciality are $65-100. Very clean with super nice staff however the ac broke and it was super hot inside. They were working on it. A decent selection of regular polish and gel colors. I really liked the pedicure and would go back again. Manicures are $20-60 depending on what you get. read more

My friends told me how great the pedis and massages are.. well I think I got maybe someone who wasn't good. I wanted to love this place but not friendly lady, barely scrubbed feet didn't even touch sides of my big toes in and out of my car within 35 min. I've been here a few times. The massage is great and the reason I gave them a decent rating. However, the product they use for dip does not last. Typically I get three weeks before any sign of wear, topcoat failure or lifting. Every time, my dip from Hello starts falling apart after ten days.
