Yup. This is my spot. Unfortunately- Jasmine was out but I REALLY needed my hair done, so I was scheduled with McKenzie, and I wanted to leave a review about THAT experience. First of all- McKenzie was SUPER conscious of what Jasmine did with with my hair so we could replicate the results for my wedding. She was very knowledgeable (about literally EVERYTHING. She is a great conversationalist, from beginning to end) and gives an amazing cut and color. What I love is the integrity. Yes- I used McKenzie this time because Jasmine was out- but she made sure to honor her coworker and book me with Jasmine next time. As someone who has worked in spas for 10 years- this is very honorable. I got a chance to see the owner. She is too sweet and you can see she cares about her business and employees. I bought a Groupon for my mom to come here and after seeing her results and her telling me about her amazing experience, I also decided to book an appointment. When I first arrived, I was a bit confused on the entrance but there is parking in the back and a staircase in the front leading to the balcony entrance. My first impression of the salon was that it was very clean, well decorated, and each station had large mirrors. Per request, my hair dresser was also Jasmine. Three words I would use to describe her are professional, hospitable, and thorough. When I arrived, she was finishing something up but immediately after, she made every effort to make me feel at home and she succeeded. She offered me some tea and a snack and asked a few questions to get an idea of the vision I was going for with my hair. As time went on, we talked about almost everything which made time fly by. She answered the general questions I asked about hair maintenance with confidence. She was very gentle and made sure I was doing well throughout. During down time, she made sure to clean up as she went which explains why the salon is sparkling clean. It was also just me at the salon that day so it was a very relaxing and personal experience. She took her time with everything which was great. I was very happy with how my hair turned out and she took note of the products/color used to replicate it for next time. I booked a follow up appointment so I think I have found my go to salon. I would highly recommend coming here if you're looking for high quality services in a clean and professional environment. This is my second time coming here. I was very happy with the partial highlights results the first time, but I was very embarrassed when I mispronounced a hair treatment terminology and was made fun of multiple times. 3 to 4 years later, I decided to return for many reasons: 1. They use Milk Shake brand products. The bleach, developers, and hair colors are ammonia free, have no strong odors that sting your eyes and nostrils, and are powerful yet gentle on your hair. My hair doesn't show any damage after bleach and coloring. 2. I like how the stylists make an effort with small talk to put customers at ease and make your experience more personal and pleasant. 3. The salon is clean and peaceful. I felt very relaxed. 4. I love how the stylists are gentle and take their time doing your hair so you don't feel rushed. They focus a lot of attention on each client. 5. Their prices are very reasonable compared to other salons. They occasionally have Groupon specials with the newer cosmetologists, as well. During my second visit I booked an appointment with Mackenzie. She did an excellent job for what I ordered with a Groupon (partial highlights plus toner), but I think what I really needed was a color correction, which is probably a more complex and pricier job! I highly recommend Mackenzie for highlights if you have light to medium virgin hair. If you have thick, dark hair, non virgin hair, damaged hair or hair that needs color correction, I would recommend Sonia who is the more experienced owner. I think she charges more though, but you can consult with her directly. Parking is in the back. I am very hurt and surprised at the way I have been treated. I have been going to the beauty lounge for approximately 2 years steady customer. I have bought products and been a great customer to you folks. To be dismissed just like that is awful and unreasonable. Always gave Mackenize a 20% tip. When the pandemic was in full blown status, I always supported this business by going every other week. I was last told by MacKenize my hair is to thick. So, what's the problem too much work for you??? You should at least show me (the Customer) some respect and at least return my calls. I called the salon 2 times and was told Mac would call me back to no avail. This is a pretty piss poor way of doing busy. I am very surprised that the owner Sonia would operate like this. Sonia's work speaks for itself... Having had a recent bad experience with another salon, I was in need of a color correction. So, I'm lucky to have been recommended to Sonia at the Beauty Lounge. My experience had me wishing I had gone to her sooner! Sonia met with me for a consultation and was super professional. I could tell that she is very experienced at what she does. She listened to me, held up a few hair extension swatches to help me visualize, as well as, offered me a few options of what she could achieve at different price points. Her estimation of the work was spot on, too. (Which I greatly appreciate, especially after having had such a bad experience elsewhere.) The color came out absolutely gorgeous. Great salon-- had a Groupon for a brazilian blowout and love it! I felt completely comfortable going in with my Groupon, not at all like I was inconvenient. My hairdresser Megan was very nice and easy to talk to. The owner Sonia, was also there and asked if I wanted anything to drink or to order anything for lunch from the restaurant underneath. The salon's style is beautiful and the stylists are personable. After my brazilian blowout I was offered to buy the shampoo that is necessary. I was going to come in a couple days later to purchase but found a friend with an extra set, which saved me some money. I would definitely go back, prices are average for a salon, but customer service is huge! read more

I hardly ever write reviews, but I need to write this one. Gianna is incredible!!!! I went in for a color correction. I had been to two other salons... the first gave me a horrible balayage and the second to "fix" my hair. The fix basically was to make me blonde... yellow blonde. I looked up the Beauty Lounge and decided to take a chance based on the good reviews. I went in for a free consultation with Gianna. The owner Sonia was there and also consulted on my hair. They were professional, beyond friendly and really knew what they were talking about. I made an appointment with Gianna on the spot. Gianna is so friendly and really made me feel comfortable. She explained everything to me and calmed my nerves. Kasi, the other stylist, was there and again they both consulted on my hair. All three stylists feed of one another and are excellent!!! I have been going to Luz at the Beauty Lounge for over two years now for eyelash extensions. I go every two weeks and I look forward to my appointment every time. It is the most relaxing hour of my week when I go. Luz is so sweet and is the best at what she does. She always makes time to see me with my very busy schedule. I've been going to the Beauty Lounge for over two years I see Sonia for my hair and Luz for my eyelashes. It is a very warm, comfortable and professional hair salon. Sonia has colored, cut and conditioned that has been to perfection. She has also did the keratin treatment that lasted longer than what I expected. She is the best colorist in the area. I also see Luz for my eyelashes and takes pride in her work. She takes her time in doing my lashes and always fits me in her schedule. They are all very plesasent. I discovered Beauty Lounge this past summer, a friend referred me. I go there to get my eyelash extensions done by Luz, who is very professional and genuine about her work. I would highly recomend her to do your eyelash extensions, she is a perfectionist and knows her stuff ! I have also gotten a facial by her as well which was awesome, and extremely relaxing! I have not tried any Hair stylists there yet, but I plan too soon. From what I have seen each stylist there knows what they are doing, and I have not seen one person leave that salon unsatisfied!
