At first, they make you really feel beautiful. You receive a ton of positive feedback and you're obsessed. Naturally, you go for the two week fill-in, and decide it'll be a summer fling. After a while though, they start draining your wallet, and make you feel super insecure without them. You know you inevitably need to break up, and that the relationship isn't healthy and can't last, but for whatever reason you keep going back, spending more money, and making excuses why you need them past Labor Day. Once it finally ends, you look at yourself in the mirror, and feel really ugly. You try to rebound quickly with Sephora, but it isn't the same, and you'll miss Robin Erb. Luckily, time goes by, and you eventually accept your natural lashes once again, and eventually feel pretty without your extensions. You go back to your drugstore mascara, and your real-life relationship will thank you for it. P.s- it is true. Robin is really, really pushy and does not accept "no" for an answer. She does do lovely lashes and this is a lovely salon, but take this as a cautionary tale.

There was plenty of street parking right in front of the building. The salon itself looks older building but overall clean. All of the combs and hair tools were in a sanitation solution before use. Overall he did a decent job since my SO loved the highlights! It was my first time getting them so he put the foil on with the smelly bleach for awhile until it was light enough to remove. I don't have anything else to compare this experience to. However, his bedside manners left much to be desired... Age is a sensitive topic for a lot of women and I usually don't mind but in his attempt to make conversation he really severely overestimated my age. It's actually quite comical to recall now. While working on my hair he tried to ask me the typical questions about what I do and where I'm from. He talked about coming straight from Italy and the brutal winters here. Then he stumbled to the topic of asking me, "Do you remember the Blizzard of '78?" Excuse me sir... but I was not even ALIVE then! I can't believe he thought I'm probably in my mid-40s to 50s HAHAHA! I'm glad at least I got a discount on the highlights and a memorable story to remember the place.
