Update: the company contacted me on Yelp and the bottom and the contact information provided wasn't even the correct person so I did not receive help. This dealership has always been very pushy with trying to sell their cars. This time I came by to look at a used car. The sales person we had, Luke, was new so he wasn't as pushy as his manager. He was very laxed and honest. It was obvious that he was new there since he was unsure about a lot of our questions but he got them all answered. He wasn't pushy and was very patient with us. But his manager was very pushy and kept pressuring us to sign for a car even when we were unsure. The used car we looked at was initially priced was over what it was worth especially considering damage, the mileage, and the year. We were able to get the price down but I found the listing online a on their website and saw that they initially overcharged us by $2,000 in person compared to their online listing. I brought it up but was told that listings fluctuate. We said we were going to look at another car that was newer for a cheaper price and the manager demanded to see the listing as if I were lying. It was rude of them to do that and completely unnecessary. I ended up showing the listing and the manager proceeded to just trash talk that car rather than focus on the car we were looking at at the dealership. Ultimately I was pressured to sign for the car and was upset that they have a "as is" policy because as soon as I brought it home and had time to inspect it further, there was a crack in the windshield. They didn't even factory reset the car and other phones were still connected to it. They said they cleaned the car before we got it but it was clear someone just sprayed a lemon scent inside and called it a day. The amount of damage I ended up finding in the car made me regret my purchase and the way the lie straight to your face is insane. read more

I purchased my car from another Toyota dealership, but I service here because it is closer. However, I am willing to drive elsewhere at this point. Priority has very slow service. The staff aren't concerned at all with an overflowing wait room. During my most recent visit, I actually left and came back to avoid the long wait. I asked for an oil change and tire rotation, and when I returned, only the oil change was performed. I asked why this occurred and no one had an answer. It also could not be performed because the technicians had left for the day. I asked for the Service Manager's information, and I emailed John Burkett the very next morning, and he never responded (that was two weeks ago). 1 STAR! I don't feel valued. I came here to get my car serviced on May 2nd with the intention of getting a trade in value as well as see if there were any 4Runners that peaked my interest. I walked over and was met Paul. Paul was helpful and not pushy at all. I made sure to tell him that I was just looking but would do business given the right price. I knew prior to this that the car market is crazy, seeing as my car's trade in value was the same price as I had paid for if 40k miles ago. We went out on the lot and looked at a couple 4Runners-they had about 4-5 on the lot. He started off by showing me the SR5 model but I mentioned that I wanted a nicer model and pointed over to what is now, Remy. He said I could test drive it despite still not wanting to make a sale. He also was about to let me test drive it alone, which is not common in California at all. We test drove it and after getting back I said I liked it a lot but wanted to talk price before agreeing to do business. He still was very kind and professional. We ended up agreeing a price that was both what I wanted and fair in today's car market. Without saying the price, I ended up with an out the door price with an extended warranty and rust/paint/seat protection, and windshield protection for the same price that most people spend without the add-ons. I cannot recommend Paul enough. He is courteous, professional, and kind. I will definitely recommend him and the dealership to everyone! read more

I brought a car here when it was called RK Toyota a few years ago. I love the service department, not always happy with the charges for things needed. However, they are fair. Not a huge fan of the sales team, decided to trade in my car recently and I was told I needed 2k down. I got it and called 3 times and the sales representative never returned my car so I went to another dealership. I still visit for the service for the vehicle purchased from here and honestly I have no complaints. Jordan in service rocks! If you have any service issues, call him. Wednesday's they have free manicures also. So be sure to schedule then so you can receive the service while you wait. They also have a kids zone. During my research for a 2019 4Runner, I decided to call Priority Toyota of Hampton which is 1hr 30min drive for me. They came highly recommended from one of my neighbors and I couldn't have been more impressed. I was speaking with several other dealerships prior to this and I was not getting that comfortable feeling. Tyler at Hampton Priority, along with the manager staff, was absolutely amazing! Not only did I get a great deal on my vehicle (better then anybody else by far), they treated my wife and I with the upmost respect throughout the entire process. They are very pro military and even have parking for Active Duty/Veterans. "Priorities For Life" is another bonus and was not offered at my local dealership. Paid full price for a new 2021 Tundra. No problem. They were hard to get, so I ordered it. They were supposed to add a bed step to it (at full price) prior to delivery. No problem. Supply chain issues in 2021. When I called SIX MONTHS later, I was wrongly told that part was discontinued. I can see on line they are still available. So I have to come in for a refund, and am told they are in fact available. They gave me an appointment the next day to put on. The price of gas prompted me and my wife to explore hybrid cars. And obviously everyone else had the same idea. Just to test drive a possibility of what we were interested in, we had to make an appointment. This is NOT there fault. Supply and demand. What I had a problem with is. You are expected to purchase a vehicle that isn't even made yet and you have never seen to be delivered in 2-3 months. Again not entirely their fault. In this frenzy they have created the prices are incredibly inflated on the vehicles (especially the used) and so are the charges that will cost you for your trade in. For example, they were going to charge us to recondition a 1 year old car with under 17k miles...$1200 the car was in excellent condition and immaculately maintenenced. Apon being lowballed and basically insulted with their offer from Giuseppe we desided to walk away. He followed us to our vehicle trying to still make a deal even after being told repeatedly and respectfully NO. This was several months ago and my wife still is getting calls from him. She has blocked his number and now is receiving calls from him from another number. The harassment is not worth researching a hybrid vehicle. SO I'll sum it up for you. A HYBRID VEHICLE IS ONLY GOOD FOR 10 YEARS THEN YOU RUN THE RISK OF REPLACING THE BATTERY THAT IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN WHAT THE VEHICLE IS WORTH BY THAT TIME. THE GAS MILEAGE IS IMPRESSIVE BUT WE WERE TRADING IN A SUBARU THAT GOT THE SAME MILEAGE BUT WILL LAST LONGER THEN ANY HYBRID AND MAINTAIN ITS VALUE BETTER, NOT TO MENTION THE SAFETY BENIFITS. My wife and 3 month old son came in for service and a recall. They were there for an hour and 20 minutes. The recall never got done and when she got home the vehicle had leaked oil all down my driveway. We were out of the vehicle for the evening and the next day. The dealership couldn't get us a rental car to the house and my wife was out of a vehicle with a 3 month old. A major inconvenience and if they can't be trusted with a simple oil change I definitely wouldn't trust them to do any repairs on any of my vehicles. It's sad that I'm willing to pay to have my maintenance done somewhere else when these clowns can't do a simple oil change. I will be happily paying for service in the future for the assurance that it will be done effectively and correctly the first time without all of the inconveniences of this place. By appearances it seems like it's a great place to go for maintenance and repairs. If you examine your bills after and do research I at least found I was grossly overcharged for fuel injection cleaner that does not improve mileage and can be bought at Walmart for 6.99 instead of 70 dollars. Last year every time I started my car it made a very loud noise like a bird tweeting. Over 700 dollars to replace the hose problem never went away even after taking it back. Inferior mechanics is all I can conclude. Last week I took my old 2009 toyato corolla there for an oil change, state inspection and engine light that came on. It was 140.00 diagnostic fee, then I was told they needed more time and I was charged 140.00 again. They said my fuel tank was cracked and leaking gas. I never smelled any gas. It failed inspection. So basically I was out of 358.00 dollars for an oil change and diagnostic fee. I researched another mechanic and my car was fixed for hundreds and hundreds of dollars less. They also told me there was an issue with my spark plugs which turned out to be a lie.. They quoted me over 2,100 hundred dollars. My car is running fine. How can there be this much of a price difference. I felt I was just being taken advantage of. I will never go there again. I should have never been charged twice just because their service people couldn't identify the problem in a timely manner. read more

This was 4/14/2021 and its now 5/11/2021 and they have not paid off our vehicles and after contacting honda because both of our accounts are past due they also didn't obtain the correct pay off amount so Toyota told us "that's not our problem, and we have to pay it" Every time i call or go into the store i get told something different and they lie straight to my face and say they have paid the car off. They also have shitty service the day i got the car which hasn't even been a month when i got home my tire pressure light was on. Get it checked and there is a nail in the tire. Now after spending thousands of dollars they tell me i have to pay for the tire. Now i was told when buying all the extended warranties that my tires were covered, which they lied. Made an appointment for 0830 on Saturday, after no call I returned at 1200, truck wasn't finished. Service rep said they wrote noon on the ticket by mistake and that they would pull it in right away to change the brakes. I knew they weren't going to, so I stayed in the parking lot to watch if they were going to do what they said... they didn't pull the truck in until 1:00. After 2 hours, get a call that they broke a piece and that they needed to keep it for the weekend. Being in the military, I do not have the luxury to leave my ONLY transportation at the dealership. Hence why I made an appointment at 0830 to give them the day to finish. Beyond pissed off. Never coming back here. I refuse to do business with this dealership again. read more

On multiple occasions I've used the service department for my Tundra. Why do I keep thinking that maybe they have upped their game (service)? I love Toyota trucks, this is my 4th but I am NOT a fan of trying to get service at Priority. They continue to disappoint with greasy hand prints outside and inside my vehicle, service managers that really shows no concern to matters brought to his attention. In the past they have left my oil cap off after an oil change and other minor discrepancies. This time to add on to the grease hand prints they failed to completely secure the wiring for my light bar install and they reinstalled my mud flaps backwards. Sure it's minor for now but what will they leave out with a major service. I have taken time off work to take my vehicle back to fix what they missed. However, they don't forget to charge me the dealer price. I wish I had taken pics of the wiring and grease but didn't think about it at the time. I was too busy being amazed at the lack of attention to detail. I will easily go the extra miles to find the service center that wants my business. My dad has the same issues with this business. This dealership/service center is the worst. First off, I bought a 21 Tacoma and wanted to do some simple mods. The first being fender flares. So after buying them and asking the service department if they can Install( they said yes) they did such a shotty job the first time I had to take it back a second time because the adhesive on the flares wasn't strong enough to hold. It's still looks like trash. More recently I took it in for an oil/ filter change and tire rotation. After I had left I didn't make it a block before I noticed my steering wheel becoming uncontrollably wobbly. After I got out and inspected it I found that the service technician didn't install the lug nuts correctly and the tire was about to come off. Luckily I made it back to the dealership before It did. I have used this dealership for all my service needs since I bought my 2014 Hylander. I just did my 30K check up and I noticed my wheel had damage to it. I took it back and they said they would get back to me with a solution in one day. I called the service manager a week later and left a message. No response. Another message 3 days later. Nothing. I would not give any stars, but that's not an option. The entire Priority promotion for free oil changes is bogus. They change the oil and that's about it, okay oil filter. But you have to pay additional costs for cabin and engine filters, tire rotation and other maintenance. The engine for life is only if you get all the engine work done with their group and never with another mechanic. The up-sells are outrageous in the cost and lack of transparency with what is covered. For instance, the paint sealant is not guaranteed unless you can prove that you re-apply the paint sealant cleaner about every 6 months, you cannot use well water and there are some other water restrictions that are not disclosed. These are just some of my problems with Priority in general. Now, for the Hampton location. I went in for an oil change and was called with a surprising notice that my car wasn't safe to drive from the maintenance center. Apparently, the brake were dangerous worn out and they would not even pass the VA state inspection requirements. This was extremely inaccurate. Two other mechanics verified this was not the case. So, I would be weary about their state inspections if you decide to take them up on the free inspection, you'll end up spending a lot more than to just pay a different honest mechanic. read more

Thankful the car alerted me and I was able to pull over and no one driving behind me was harmed, it was raining. Had to replace the plug, oil, and clean this parking lot. I'm a bit iffy on this place. The first time I came here and got my oil changed they didn't tighten the cap. So my trip to Tennessee the same day ended with me realizing I was about out of oil! I was pretty mad! I even sent them an email and told them but they didn't respond. The manicure area they have is basically a desk and it's annoying that it's only like one day a week and not long. Oh well, I probably wouldn't get a manicure there anyway. Anyway, the last visit went better I think. I had my husband go. We didn't have any leaking this time though. They told me this 2014 Nissan Frontier King c would hold it value so I bought the truck on 02 / 2019 for $24,000. On my first time getting my oil changed I was in the business for over 4 hours to find out they have not even started y oil change which when I bought the truck it came with a life time oil change. I had to replace all for tires 3 months after I bought it. They were dry and cracked. Nothing some tire wax can make look good till it rains. Then the next time I went in to get it done again and it took over 3 hours. I let that go. See this is the second Nissan Truck I have bought and Enjoy a lot. But with the bad sickness (COVID 19) going around I lost my job with no chance to get it back. I am 59 years old and it is hard to get a job at that age. I will get one. But I only have a few months of money in my bank account to get me throw this. I called and told the dealer, Priority, Hampton roads Virginia USA. That I would hope they could help me out by buying back the truck which looks as good as it does the day I bought it. (Garage kept) 43,000 miles. They said bring it over and they would look at it. I went by gave them the keys and set their fore three hours waiting for someone to talk to me. I went up to the counter and ask for my keys back so I could leave. Then a man pulled it from the box and told me that they would give me $8.000 for it. I ask why so little. You said it would hold it value and this is all you want to give me. He said that is all it is worth. I said thanks for nothing out the door I went. I pay 24,000 in 02/19 and 04 / 20020, 7 months and it dropped that much or I paid way too much for it?
