Mike in the service department always expertly handles my vehicle. I've taken three of my vehicles there all have received great service.

I dropped it off at 8am and didn't hear anything until almost 3pm, when I received a text with over $1,400 in "recommended" repairs--brakes, rotors, a gear shifter dust cover, and a brake flush. I tried calling my service advisor, Miranda, with no answer, so I went to the dealership myself. When I arrived, she told me my inspection had passed. The moment I declined the recommended work, the story changed and suddenly the truck "failed" because the shifter was "a little stiff." The timing felt extremely suspicious. The part in question is two small plastic trim pieces that cost under $35 total, require no tools, and take about 10 minutes to replace. They wanted $362 for that alone. When I asked where the law listed this as a failure, she told me to look it up myself. I asked her to call the state police for clarification; she said she would, printed something out, then later told me I should call them instead. Throughout the interaction she was dismissive and rude, even making an unprofessional comment about my job in the Navy based on my jacket. She also admitted the $1,400 in recommendations were simply part of her job to "upsell." After all this, my truck still sat another 30 minutes before being returned. When I got home, I discovered the TPMS sensors I provided--complete assemblies with valve stems attached--had been installed without the valve stems. That raised serious concerns about whether the sensors were even installed correctly, or at all. I called service manager Nick the next morning. When I explained my concerns and said the work felt shady, he focused more on being offended by my frustration than addressing the issues. I told him I would be speaking with general management. Later that morning, a Virginia State Police officer returned my call about the inspection. I explained why I believed the failure was improper and showed him photos and the law the dealership cited. He reviewed everything, contacted the dealership, and spoke directly with Nick. About 20 minutes later, the officer called me back and said the dealership had been instructed to pass my vehicle and correct the paperwork. He even gave me his personal number in case I had further issues. It should never take a state police officer to get a correct inspection result. On Feb 26, I had to take additional time off work--losing over $800 in wages--to get the sticker properly applied. When they finally put it on, they left adhesive residue and simply placed the new sticker over it. I also wasn't given the inspection paperwork. They returned my old TPMS sensors and valve stems, but the caps had been removed. Based on everything--the questionable inspection failure, the extreme markup on a simple trim piece, the rude and unprofessional behavior from the service advisor, the defensive service manager, concerns about whether paid work was actually completed, and the fact that state police had to intervene--I strongly caution anyone from bringing their vehicle here. This experience was unacceptable from start to finish.

Safety issues and verification failures. Documentation exists…read more I brought my 2018 Hyundai Sonata to this dealership multiple times in 2025 for vibration, braking, and steering concerns. Across repeated visits, the following outcomes were documented through service records and later inspection: -The right front CV axle was found under-torqued after a repair performed here. -The left front CV axle was found over-torqued after a separate repair performed here. -Brake work represented as OEM was later identified as non-OEM. -Suspension work was represented differently than what was installed, and symptoms continued. -Multiple safety-critical repairs were followed by minimal or no verification test driving, sometimes as little as 0-1 mile. -Despite continued symptoms, I was advised that "no safety concern was found." Later inspections confirmed otherwise. This matter is now part of an active Hyundai corporate case supported by service records, mileage logs, and documentation from multiple facilities. I am posting this so other customers are aware and so the dealership has an opportunity to address the documented issues publicly. If you are considering this dealership for brakes, suspension, or driveline work, I strongly recommend independent verification.

I took it in because the tire pressure light was on when we bought it and they said they would fix it. Not only did the light stay on but they said they found no leaks. One week later i took it to a different mechanic and i had two rear tires that were going flat. Turns out both back tires had huge leaks, both rear tire sensors were unusable. Also they said there was no way a body shop could have checked my tires because the lug nuts were so tight they looked like they hadnt been adjusted in over a year at least. After paying to get all the lug nuts loosened they found the passenger rear rim was so eroded the air was just flying out between the tire. Also the extended piece of the muffler that helps save the rear bumper from melting, has fallen off and my rear bumper is melting ...if i could post a picture i would...it's really bad. Also, when I originally bought the car the rear seats had car mats on the floor but when I took it in, they disappeared. Also, the car manual left in the car wasn't even the same make of vehicle.I am actually scared to see if by next year this car will pass inspection. Do NOT purchase a used car from this place ! I have spoken with other locals and I know of two other people who have similar experiences. Save your money and shop elsewhere!

They did the recall repairs (which included an anti-theft recall that was too late because someone already tried to break in and steal my car once and the alarm didn't work) they charged me over $200 for a diagnostic when I declined the repair suggested. The estimate they provided was $1200 for parts and one hour of labor. I purchased parts for $230 and my mechanic did the repairs for the cost of their labor ($80+). I will gladly give my money to some place that isn't making people pay for the showroom attached to the service area by making them pay for time they didn't use to get any repairs. Shady. If you want a reliable place, don't look here unless it's under warranty. Very dissatisfied with the outcome of this trip.
