I love this store. I come here for the Superstar level customer service that I always receive from all of the stores employees. The ladies and gentlemen that work at this location work on cars, race cars, and repair cars for other people, so they KNOW a lot more than at most other locations. The store is always clean and stocked well. If this location does not have what you need, they will call around and find the part at another location. They offer transfers of parts to thid location from other locations. They always ask if you are a rewards member or military veteran to make sure their customers get the best price. I love the way they offer to help you, then just let you shop without hounding you. They also showed me a car charger that I can use from inside my car. That is much safer than standing outside, hoping someone with bad intentions does not stop to cause trouble. Sucks having to carry a gun! read more

This visit was my first and I was quite pleased with the service and customer service from the employees. This location is little hard to spot and knowing that I pass it all the time and never bothered to stop by and check it out. Well my reason for visiting, my check engine light was on and I needed a light bulb for my car. I arrived and there were only a handful of customers inside and I only saw three employees present. While I did have to wait a few minutes for one of the employees to become available, I was able to browse around the store and found the light bulb I needed. This store is surprisingly larger inside and the aisles are spaced pretty well. I noticed some deals throughout the store as well. I was able to pick up a 3-pack of air-fresheners for $1. Worth the browsing ;) I believe the name of the associate that helped me - Gabriel... I got a vibe that he was a new employee or just winged it in helping me with what I needed. But overall he delivered. He checked the reason why my check engine was on...that took less than five minutes. We walked in and he gave me the print out and made some suggestions. He confirmed that the light bulb I picked up was indeed the correct one. Before I left the store, I asked if they install the bulbs... he said some but not all. Well he came out to my car and checked it anyway. Keeping the review short...I was able to change my bulb with his help. Talk about customer service... I was thoroughly pleased from start to finish. The vibe of the store was pleasant as well. In comparison to other locations... this is my preferred location. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes minus the wait time before I was serviced. Plenty of parking. This location is pretty much a stand alone, but as you approach the road to turn in, slow down, you may miss the turn. This location is pretty central to everything. There is shopping and eateries located all within walking distances. Just be careful if crossing the busy Portsmouth Blvd. Have fun and enjoy life ;) read more

didn't catch the employee's name because i immediately walked back out the door. whoever was working about 7:50pm 8/29/24 does not need a job here. i came in looking for a fuel line disconnect tool, but before i made my way over to the isle i asked the older man at the register if they had a restroom. he didn't acknowledge me at all. so i asked again "excuse me sir, do y'all have a bathroom?" and he just held his finger up at me motioning me to wait, while he was on the phone with some lady just talking... if you can't acknowledge your customers, or at least ask them to please wait, then you will not have my business. especially if it's a personal call. i have brought my business here for the last 2 years and i won't be returning here ever again. read more

I came into Auto Zone because my car wouldn't start. Bill checked my battery and saw that my battery was purchased from an Auto Zone, he checked to see if my battery was under warranty, and helped get me a new one. After installing my battery he checked to make sure there were no other issues. He was a great help and Auto Zone is lucky to have such an amazing employee!! read more

Went to AZ with a battery problem. The staff checked the charging system and determined the battery needed to be replaced. The replacement battery was in stock and INSTALLED by AZ! Thank you for the excellent service. I will be back as this AZ is my new source for auto parts. read more
