I called one dealership and they were not helpful, which was disheartening. My husband told me to call Cavalier at Chesapeake Square, where we used to take our vehicles when we lived over there. Phil was FANTASTIC and sympathetic. He told me not to worry, he'd done the recall already for other vehicles, and to go ahead and bring her in THAT DAY, and it'd get taken care of. It took me longer to drive over then it did to get the recall fixed lol. This place is VERY military friendly, compassionate, and I appreciate the level of attention they give.

We received the row location for our vehicle. The lot is well laid out and marked so that you can find your pick quickly and get to work removing what you need. We received great customer service throughout the process. You should bring the tools necessary to remove the part you want from the car. They provide a wheel barrel for you to place place parts in and bring them to checkout. I was impressed with the improved check in, the cars they had for sale, the cleanliness of the pick lot and the amount of space allowed between each vehicle to help you get to the part you want without squeezing by.

The replacement costed less than $7. Where Brandon went above and beyond was installing the new terminal. The old bolt was so rusted and fused to the cable that it took Brandon an hour of hard labor to get it off. During the entire process he maintained good humor and a positive attitude, even when he banged his knuckle on the engine trying to get the stubborn nut off. Faulty Tune-Up Damaged My Car…read more I'm very disappointed with the service I received from Big Al's Automotive. I took my 2006 Dodge Charger in for a routine tune-up, and shortly after the service, my car started misfiring and then completely stopped starting. I brought my vehicle to another certified automotive company to find out what was wrong. After inspecting it, they told me the misfires and starting issues were likely caused by a faulty tune-up done at Big Al's. Because of this, I had to spend more money getting my transmission and other components checked by another shop, which confirmed that the problems stemmed from that original tune-up. Before bringing my car to Big Al's, it ran fine. Now, I can't even drive it, and I've had to pay for additional diagnostics and repairs that shouldn't have been necessary. I've reached out asking Big Al's to take responsibility and reimburse me for the costs I've incurred due to their poor workmanship. I hope they make this right, but for now, I'd advise others to be cautious before trusting this shop with your vehicle.
