The check in process is automated now making it simpler and faster to check in. Admission is $3.00 per person. When paying for admission, it is important to ask the cashier to pull up the inventory and tell you whether they have the make and model you are looking for. We received the row location for our vehicle. The lot is well laid out and marked so that you can find your pick quickly and get to work removing what you need. We received great customer service throughout the process. You should bring the tools necessary to remove the part you want from the car. They provide a wheel barrel for you to place place parts in and bring them to checkout. I was impressed with the improved check in, the cars they had for sale, the cleanliness of the pick lot and the amount of space allowed between each vehicle to help you get to the part you want without squeezing by. read more

I had an absolutely wonderful experience selling my old vehicle to them! They offer pick up with their tow trucks but due to time constraints, I had the vehicle brought to them. The quote was the same regardless if they picked it up or we dropped it off. The lady in the office was kind, warm and honestly a pleasure to do business with. It probably took about 20 minutes and we were out of there, check in hand! The offer I was given was more than fair for a non running vehicle that I was still paying taxes and insurance on. Live near the Oceania yard a great place with helpful employees. But the only problem is the person who operates the forklift. I have a Honda Pilot that I need a door for in grey color every time I check the website and see they have that Pilot in stock I go down and the door is destroyed by the forklift. read more

I sent my paperwork online like they asked just to be told in person at the time of pickup that they cant accept it unless its updated with my new information (not the case for all businesses). If you dont actually look at the emails and messages whats the point????? Wasted 4 days between the scheduling and the pickup to fix the papers during the weekend. I was also informed during "pickup" that the check would be made out to the name on the certificate title due to this technicality. Let's be a little more detailed and transparent regarding discrepancies instead of promoting quick pick ups for quick money. When that is in fact NOT how the process goes unless your ducks are lined up. read more

This is a junk yard near Oceania that's more organized than most. Being a national chain they are always bringing vehicles in and you can often find the part you're looking for. Unlike the traditional junkyard you probably have in mind vehicles here are lined up in rows by their manufacturer. I have a GM and there were at least 6 rows of GM car's there and I found 5 of my model. Unfortunately the part I was looking for was missing from two, and was broken on the other 3. Such is life, I'll swing by again in a couple of weeks and take another look. It costs a buck to go in, and you can take your tool bag with you. They're definitely worth checking out if you like to do stuff yourself. read more

Would say that for adults and people who just need parts it is cool. As far as it goes for welcoming and front desk not so much. With two adults and twin daughters we were made to wait outside while their father was in the yard. Meanwhile watching the people coming out I have seen children under the age of 16 which was their age requirement. I find that to be very rude. Don't say some kids are not allowed then have others allowed in. I won't be bringing my business or needs here again. read more

I am impressed at how organized this business was run. First thing was pay the admission fee of $2.00 and get a hand stamp. Next you search for the junked vehicle needed for your repair job. Pick-N-Pull provides wheel barrows to place the parts you find. Bring your own tools for disassembly. After you finish you get in a check out line and pay for your part. There is a price list inside for common parts. The workers were nice. Then you are finished unless you want to check out the used vehicles for sale. This place is a godsend. Many cars to choose from and good parts prices no matter what you pull. Nice little hot dog van right outside the front door. Washing station to clean your hands, cooling misters to stand under in the summer. I ALWAYS find something that I need for my 5 vehicles. Employees at the front desk could use a little customer service work but nothing big. I guess they hear a lot of krap all day. I only have to deal with them on the way out. It cost 2 dollars to get in and you bring your own tools. The first thing I noticed is that the yard is very well organized. It was extremely easy for me to walk in and find what I need. I think I was there maybe 30 minutes total. My hinges snapped on my pickup and I got an estimate from the local dollar at 215 a piece! Including labor they wanted over 600 as a starting point. Instead I pulled the 2 hinges I needed and spent 8.34 a piece. After tax and the entry fee I paid 20.31. Other than that I paid a friend with a six pack to help me move the hood into place. Very professional place and well kept. I'll definitely keep it in mind if I ever need another part. read more

This place is awesome. Got a part for my 98 Honda Accord here for a good price. They even let me borrow some tools while they held on to my ID. Let them know the year and make of your car and they will print out where to find every car within the yard that fits the description. Great customer service too. I don't normally like to leave bad reviews, I understand that some people have a bad day and we should judge a whole company based off of one bad experience. However, the experience I just had trying to sell my old vehicle was so disgusting and very unpleasant that I feel a sense of duty to warn others about their practices. The transaction was very easy at first. I went online filled out the information and waited for the call the said would come. They called in the time frame they said they would, however, the rep they had call was not very knowledgeable about titles. I asked her if they would except my title with the lien still in place but with a signed lien release ( I paid off the vehicle but never took the title to dmv to remove the lien). Lady was very rude and simply advised me I had to go into the Virginia Beach location to have the title approved. I live in Norfolk and work banking hours so it was impossible for me to go there before the 430 closing. The next rep I spoke to advised I could fax it in and call back in four hours to have a answer. This is were pick n pull's really dropped the ball. I had to fax this paperwork in three different time. Each time I did, I was advised I would have to wait four hours for an answer. Every rep I spoke to would give me different and conflicting stories. After sending it three times and getting no where, I asked to speak to a supervisor. I spoke to a man by the name of Hector (I think) he was very rude and wasn't willing to assist me what so ever. All I needed them to do was look at a piece of paper and schedule pick up. Needless to say I told them they lost a customer. I called cash for junk cars and they were out here within two hours and paid me more then what pick n pull offered. Don't waste you time dealing with their unknowledgeable, lazy, and rude office personal and just call a company who has employees that want to do their job and don't treat you like an inconvenience because you are trying to utilize their services. read more

As I was in line to check out the supervisor basically didn't want to serve certain people, so he decided to wait until others joined the line, than he decided to help. So I called him out on his out right disrespect and he attempted to argue with me, really dude, that was not necessary just be more careful where you spend your money. Things aren't always what they seem. Now, I drive all the way to Chesapeake where the people are nicer to there paying customers. read more
