Just had an amazing experience and it was all because of a nice man named Don. While it was raining out, i noticed once of my wipers was starting to fail, so I pulled into this Autozone to replace them. As soon as I walked in the door Don asked me what I was in for, he immediately started looking up what size wipers I needed. He quickly got to grabbing the size and brand that the store computer recommended, he then went out into the rain to check the adapter size on my car to make sure they matched. When the store didnt have the right size for the brand recommended, he got the next brand size but still gave me the lower price of the original recommended brand. Don did multiple trips out to the rain to replace my wipers and I was out of there in less than 10 minutes. Will only go to this Auto Zone in the future because of this experience. read more

Woke up this morning and my truck was having trouble starting. I figured it was about time for a new battery but I didn't think it would give out before winter. I headed to the nearest AutoZone usually I go straight to the dealership for everything (even though they're overpriced) since I'm not very mechanically inclined. I forgot the gentleman's name but he was super friendly and helpful. I had no idea that if you buy a battery from AutoZone, they'll install it for free! I was already mentally preparing myself to do it but they took care of everything quickly. Great service and very convenient I'll definitely be back! read more

Caleb was extraordinarily helpful. After my car unexpectedly died and needed a jump, I had it straight over to AutoZone since I was down the street. He was able to diagnose that. Yes in fact, my battery was dead. In moments, he had looked up my car, retrieved the new battery and began the install. He was kind, knowledgeable and overall amazing getting my car back to prime running condition!! Thank you so much!! read more

First time this store which is by my son's high school. He needed something for his car. I'm more in the Advanced Auto Parts which has a location close to my home. It's been a long time since hitting up an AZ and it so happen I stopped at two same day. The store is on Dam Neck close to the intersection of General Booth. There is adequate parking for the business. Some debris was seen on the outside area of the parking lot. I found the exterior in great shape. The only thing that sets auto parts store apart for me is customer service, they are all basically the same. No acknowledgment entering. I asked the clerk behind the counter where something was and she pointed from behind counter. I ended up getting car seat covers for my son on a super clearance for $10 and bottle of washer fluid. I'm obsessed with keeping my car glass spotless. I waited for the clerk to return to the counter. A moment later the manager stepped up. The transaction was smooth. The store was clean and well organized. I would probably return. Service was meh. read more

Disclaimer: This review is based off of a single experience and does not reflect the typical recommendations of friends and locals. I called the store yesterday (21MAR) and search of a part for my truck. An employee - Eric - answered the phone at which point I gave him the part number for him to hunt it down. My usual OCD self timed the part-search - 4:32 seconds with a known part number. Not a huge deal, but the slowest I've encountered to date. Eric was mostly adequately professional during our interaction and offered to put the part on hold (after I asked him to). I live about 5 minutes away and was at the store with 10 minutes of the phone conversation. Upon arrival, I walked into a store full of employees. I counted seven including the manager - assumed she was in charge due to her demeanor. Nobody greeted me but rather I announced to the crowd, "I called a few minutes ago and spoke to Eric about holding a part for me." My announcement was met with both curiosity and confusion - everyone looked at me but nobody reacted. The manager then barked an order to what I assume was a new employee (see as how she added, "do you know how to look up parts on hold", to him). He said no and so she asked another of the numerous workers to help. At least four of them walked to the back (parts area) in what I assume was a search for what I requested. A few minutes passed as I asked the manager where the coolant was - she pointed to the air-conditioner refill kits she was stocking. I didn't state prediluted radiator coolant so the "lost in translation" moment was on me. She pointed it out, I picked it up, and by that time my part was on the counter. This is where my perception of the place really took a nosedive. I asked if the part came with the required O-ring, at which point the Parts Manager (said so on his tag) responded, "I don't know." While I've never worked for AZ, I know that their in-store system reflects closely with online system - which clearly states that the part comes with the O-ring. It was more of a cover-my-butt question than a knowledge check, but it served as both. The Parts Manager rang up my part but forgot to ring up my coolant - no biggie, I'm an honest guy and asked him to ring it up. His response, "oh f*ck." I cuss, it happens - just not in front of people I don't know or that I'm helping... most of the time. Again, no biggie to me but a major deal to others - so not cool. A few other expletives flew around before I left as he explained his frustrations at so many employees being there and his happiness in the departure of the manager for lunch. I got my part so I'm happy. That's why there are two stars instead of one - however, this was painfully close to being a one star experience. And by-the-by, a 902-204 does come with an O-ring :) read more

Poor customer service. Asked for brake lights and the lady seemed angry. I paid and asked for help installing the new lights. She was hesitant and gave me a hard time. Once we got to my car she expected me to know everything that was going on. I opened the trunk and she says, "I can't change the lights because you need to unscrew this" (Mind you, she had a screwdriver in her hand and/or could have got a tool to unscrew it). I left and ended up learning how to fix the brake lights myself. I never write reviews but this left me upset. read more

I was in a pinch for some zip ties so I popped into the AutoZone and the young man behind the counter gave me two from his box of goodies that the employees use with no charge. It was just what I needed when I needed it! read more

This Autozone is near my house and I come here all the time for different things and have always had great service and help. Yesterday I stopped in to see if my battery was charged or if there was a potential issue with my alternator. When I walked in, the associate slumped over the counter just looked at me like an alien for 30 seconds or so. She then asked if I needed help, I told her what the issue was and looked around for 2 seconds and said she didn't know if she could check the battery because she didn't know where the machine was located. Finally she found it, looked in my hood for 2 seconds and stated she couldn't check the battery because it was under something else. She did not offer any other help or advice or guidance and she had me turn my vehicle off so my battery died again. I had to go back inside and ask for a jump and this time a different woman helped me. The first time she tried to jump me, she said it didn't work and went back inside. Apparently a gentleman coworker advised her to try again on a different setting and then it finally worked. Overall I had a really terrible experience, I felt like I was inconveniencing the people that work there. I understand if my battery is in a weird place and you can't check it but just to walk away without any other explanation is rude and unprofessional. I won't ever go back to this location, I would rather drive 20 minutes away to the next. read more

I came in to see if my battery was going bad. Adam found out that my battery was good but my alternator wasn't. I'm not a handy person so I definitely had no intention on buying the part. He assured me that I would be able to install it and that he would be available for question and to walk me through it. He was right which saved me about $400 and made the store some money on selling the part. He's probably the nicest guy I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with at any auto parts store. read more

They are very helpful here. You go in there and it actually seems like they want to help you, as opposed to most just wanting to sell you something. Whenever I go here I always seem to find one of the employees out in the parking lot helping out a customer. They helped me figure out when my battery was bad. read more
