I told her my purpose for coming in and right away she was able to pull up the lights I needed for my vehicle. And she went right to the aisle and picked them up. She preceded back to the counter to check me out. She also picked up some grease needed as a protector for the life of the new lights. So yeah I made my purchase, but then I thought Ummmmm can you install them too? She advised on some cars they cannot but someone will check shortly. So ummmm 2 mins or so went by and the employee, Carter came out to install the lights. Once he figured out the proper lights that needed to be changed I was all set in 5 mins. It is large enough to accommodate folks trying to fix things on the spot, you are not supposed to repair your car in their lot but.....I have even seen people who have the nerve to ask questions about an ongoing repair. They usually receive the information they need from the cashiers. I am sure that it why this location stays full of customers. Parts was to be installed on 18 Sept, received a call that installer was late, and an installation would process would start later that morning, I called about update on vehicle in afternoon and was told they had run into an issue with the harness being too short and would need to be extended and that holes would need to be drilled to run wires in door thresholds. I said that if that was what the installation instructions said, I was good, but I told them that I had a trip planned the next morning and need my vehicle, received call back that another issue was they did not have rubber grommets for the wire run and would have to order them. After this total frustration set in and told them to put vehicle back to original state and I would be up to pickup truck and a refund. I want to state that I have purchased numerous items (trailer, shed, truck covers and running boards in the past from the same business) but his has to have been to worst experience I have had, not sure if it has to do with personnel change or what, but feel I was treated as just another number for a sale so as to what I was told; quote " if we don't make sales we don't feed our family". At Salas, they…read morechanged the rotors and pads, did a full synthetic oil change and state inspection for about $50 less than the chain store wanted just to do pads and rotors. To buy the parts at Advance Auto would cost me $400, so Salas was still making a good profit for the labor at a cost of about $770 total- (wanted $1038 at the chain store), but not taking me completely through the nose. The brakes seem and look brand new. I was recommended to give them a try and I was glad I did. I plan to be back in the future- hopefully it will be a while, but good service!
