The experience I had with Chase at Discount Tire made my week. My son used my golf cart and returned iwith a hole in a flat tire . After MANY calls to local shops and hearing "No.. not us". I finally came across 'Moke America Golf carts'. The awesome girl on the line said "We use Discount Tire on Virginia Beach BLVD". I then called Discount Tire (answered on the second ring ). They told me to "come on in". Walked in and met Chase. Chase took my tire and after a few minutes showed me the problem. He then said "let me check something".... He mentioned a bead and the tire ‍. Anyways.. Chase came back with my tire fixed! I am SO surprised with the honesty.. Chase did not take advantage of me knowing what the tire and bead rim thing is. And it was fixed! Customer service here is TOP TIER! I ordered 4 new tires and had them replaced. I had bad lug nuts and they replaced them for my safety. Also had issues with my tpms and they fixed that too. I was kept aware the entire time. Will for sure always come back. I believe Nick was helping me and he was super attentive and knowledgeable. An easy update for Discount Tire keeping them at 5 stars. My appointment got me in and out in 15 minutes. My appointment was set up in person, but they do offer a handy app. My son needed a tire rotation that's covered for free since the tires were purchased there. I assisted and took the car in. I also took advantage that they now sell wiper blades. They offer two brands of wipers depending on budget. TRICO premium wiper blades are the upgrade. They install for free. Loving their products, friendly service and speed of completion when you have an appointment. Will return and recommend. read more

I woke up to a slow leak in one of my tires. I called for roadside assistance and was advised there was a screw in the tread. They pumped up the tire and recommended Discount Tire. I went there knowing I'd need to replace all the tires in the not too distant future. Nick inspected all the tires, offered to repair the flat but suggested I replace the two front. One of my tires was losing air constantly. I was referred to this place. I can't believe this is an auto shop! The lobby was bright and clean. I was greeted at the door by Cody who asked the reason for my visit. After explaining, he immediately walked out to my car to inspect it. He determined there was a nail and severe tread wear. We went inside where he found a replacement tire locally for my vehicle. Within 15 minutes after pulling in, I was on my way with the deposit paid and an appointment Monday to get the new tire put on. I think I found my new tire shop for all my cars! read more

My car got an absolute banger of a flat, so here I am stranded on the side of the road because despite me driving a Jeep I'm apparently not responsible enough to keep a spare in the trunk. I call up Discount Tire to move my appointment, get Brad, Brad is a chad who reassured me that missing my appointment was no big deal. I call back like 40 min later because the tow company is unresponsive, and get Ian, Ian is also super duper nice and offers that if I have my car towed there tonight and they'll get to it first thing in the morning. Homies should work at a crisis hotline honestly. I've also come to this location before and they are so dang fast and even corrected a tire that was installed incorrectly by another location. What can't these folks do? Am I half writing this out of boredom waiting on the tow truck? Sure, but the other half is exceptional customer service and kindness. 10/5 stars my guys. read more

I had a nail in my tire several months ago and they were able to quickly remove and repair the hole. In their inspection, they were even able to find another puncture and repair that. I do not usually write reviews on yelp but when I do it is well deserved. I woke up this morning and discovered a nail in my passenger back tire. I went in this discount tire website and was shocked to how easy it was to schedule an appointment. I came 10 minutes earlier to check In, and Ean the gentleman who assisted me was already tracking my arrival. Immediately showed motivation to work and help me with whatever my problem was. After evaluation of the tire, he quickly told me that the tire was easily repairable and can do it for free, no charge. Which was great I always am skeptical with places like this due to the stories I've heard. But on top of the news he also reminded me that the tires I received 3 years ago was still under warranty to if it was a bigger issue it would've been swapped for 0 dollar cost. I stopped by Used tire Depot on November 1,2023, to have a tire mounted and to get a second tire. When I left my tire pressure light was on. I had some where to go so I drove with the light on. The next day I went back, told them about the light and all they did was check the air pressure. I was told to just drive around and the light will go out. The third day I went to NTB tire and service center at 3285 Virginia Beach Blvd. Explained my problem to them and they found the problem. Used Tire Depot had broke my tire pressure sensor and shoved a valve stem up there. They mentioned NOTHING about breaking it. This place is a rip off, if they break something THEY need to fix it. Shop at your own risk when going to Used tire Depot. The manager is a very nasty person on the phone also. I will take all my business to NTB tire center for now on. read more

When i had purchased the tires online to be shipped in, it turns out they wouldn't fit my car (same year, make, and model, but didn't take the special edition stock wheel into account). Let me preface this review by saying I have only ever been serviced at the Holland Road location (purchased all of my tires from here) and always have had exceptional service. When I noticed I had a nail in my front drivers side tire, I decided to choose this location since it was a bit closer to me at that moment. Upon walking in and waiting for quite some time, a young gentleman helped me and went to go inspect my tire in the lot. I told him because of the flat I had been driving on unbeknownst for some time, there was obvious tread damage as well (I've worked on cars, I know when I see worn tread). He came back and told me he did not see anything in the very obvious flat tire, and the tread was "fine". I responded "so can you at least look at it/ pull it in the bay?" He said they would, and after 45 mins I saw my car in the bay. I didn't see the employees attending to the car much, as they were too busy dancing and goofing off on the floor. When my car was "finished", he came to give me my keys and send me on my way. No explanation or summary of what was done/ found. I had to ask explicitly "so... was there a nail in it?" "Oh yeah but we just patched it up". Other times I have been shown the screw, bolt, etc, without even having to ask. Two days later, after only driving my car through the neighborhood a couple times, the tire is once again as flat as before and was clearly not properly fixed. Now I'm back to square one, with two hours of a day off wasted. Extremely disappointed in the service and experience in general. Called twice for communication w a manager or supervisor and conveniently there was none on duty either time. Should have just gone to the Holland store as usual. read more
