Replaced the flywheel & clutch but did not replace a bearing that was a part of the repair. 3k miles later, the truck began giving trouble again. Difficulty shifting. I took it to a mechanic where I live (FL), and got the shifter fixed. $800 job. that was fixed but the shifting issues came back almost immediately, and this time accompanied by a chirping sound. I took the truck back & my mechanic asked more questions about the work I'd gotten done. I hadn't owned a car in the last 10 years so I didn't know anything. He encouraged me to call them and find out what kind of work was done so they could see if it was related to that and if there was a warranty on it. I called and got a rude person who made sure to tell me that they aren't the same ownership "so WEEE didn't do any work on the truck," she said. I asked if she could get me the information, she put me on hold for 10 minutes, then we got... disconnected. I called right back and got somebody much nicer, who told me what work they did, but was unable to email me any of the information and I guess also unable to find somebody who could do so for her. My mechanic had to call them to get them to send along the information we needed. Turns out all the issues were from the shoddy first job. Great. Better still, it would be covered by the warranty. Turns out labor there was like $300 cheaper than the place I go to now, so I'm not saying you get what you pay for. More that Precise offers a good value when they do the job well (new management, so maybe they do) I understand new ownership means that's not their fault. I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 because they didn't do the shoddy work. They just wouldn't help me at all when I needed them to. My truck is running great now, so I hope you find a mechanic as good as the one I have now. Maybe it's Precise. I don't know.

I drove 20 miles and put 4 gallons in the 10 foot truck, filling the tank above the mark on the gauge and paper contract- returned after hours. They charged me for additional 4 gallons. The receptionist would not listen to a word of my concern and hung up on me. There are many Uhaul operators in the area, choose a different location- Autoworks is not honest about gas charges!

A few hours after dropping my car off I received a call from Joel saying my breaks are in good shape and no need for maintenance at this time.. WOOO HOOO! I was doubtful that they were so much better than the competition as to justify the drive, but I was wrong. Theyre definitely worth the drive. I went here to have AC compressors replaced on two vehicles, multiple state inspections, an alternator and most recently suspension and brake work. The prices were competitive and work that easily could have taken multiple days was done in one. They called me to keep me updated on the progress, and on two occasions let me know that the work I requested was not required and I could save money by not doing it. When the alternator was replaced, they identified the reason why it failed (and oil valve leaking on it) and fixed that which was missed by the place I had gone to just weeks before when the previous alternator failed. They are polite, professional, and do quality work. I doubt that you will find a better auto repair operation in this area.

The tech showed me a strange wear pattern on my front tires and a couple of patches I was not aware of, on a back tire. They recommend that I change out all 4 tires and to rotate every 3-5,000 miles. They fount that exact same off road tires for $75 less per tire than I found anywhere online. The 4 tires, mounting, balancing, install, and front end alignment happened in 3 hours on the day I first called for an appointment. The people are very friendly and kind. I could not have asked for a better first time experience. The waiting room was full of repeat customers. They also do inspections. I will absolutely go back again. I trust them.

I dropped my vehicle off here on a weekday for an inspection right at opening at 8am. Ken was very…read morekind and helpful at the front desk. They managed to finish the inspection at about 9am with a pass. However, they found a small leak in my power steering fluid hose. He called me and I accepted that they go ahead and order the hose and I'd get it done there. I am very pleased with the service I received and how knowledge Ken was with my car. He also took pictures of the hose and everything surrounding it so hubby could see for himself. Side story: I had taken my vehicle to another shop close to work and they quoted me $700 for the job. They did not explain anything to me and quite frankly I wanted another opinion). I will be coming here from now on! I also like the idea that they are local being 2 minutes down the road from me, and they've been in business for many years and not a big box company.
