When this place was princess nails, it was great! Ownership changed as of August 1st to 6-7 nails and it is quickly going downhill. I called three times in the morning to make an appointment for a pedicure for my mom and I and they did not answer so we went and walked it. We were taken back immediately, and it was the quickest pedicure my mom and I have ever had and not in a good way. My nail polish was uneven, there was paint all over my toes, I still had dry skin hanging from my heels, and we were rushed out of there. The new owner helped us at checkout and told us that they cut my mom's pedicure short because there was someone waiting and they didn't have enough staff so she gave us six dollars off. I was not aware of this and they didn't say anything until after or I would've gone somewhere else for a better experience. The new owner was eating a hard boiled egg while checking us out and said that my pedicure was more because of a callus remover and I showed her that the skin was now jagged and hanging off my heels and she didn't say anything and continued to stand there and wait for payment. It's very sad what's happening to this place because the original ladies that are there are still very sweet and amazing. The new owner has no idea what she's doing and I will not be going back here which was a shame because I do love the ladies there. read more

I visited Princess Nails recently for a gel manicure and it was a good experience. The nail salon is clean and spacious. I didn't have an appointment and was able to walk in and request an appointment for an hour later. Julie did my nails and she was friendly and did a great job. I was happy with how my nails looked and the customer service. The salon's card system was down, and I was not aware until halfway through the service. Luckily, I had some cash in my work bag and Julie was able to accompany me to my car and get change. That interaction was slightly awkward, but otherwise the nail salon is a pretty solid spot and I would consider returning if I'm in San Ramon again. read more

I don't usually give low reviews for nail salons but this place has messed my nails up BIG time. It started off with the weird convo that the artist initiated after I told her that I wanted to remove my acrylics since I had to go back to work. She said, "I thought you're a big boss. You can't keep your acrylics?" Later on she asked if I have a boyfriend. I said no. She said she has two sons and listed their age and said, "which one do you want?" Such weird vibes. She then rushed the process of removing my acrylic by drilling down instead of soaking it with nail polish remover, to the point where it made me bled. I yelled out in pain and then the nail artist complained to her friend Julie (another nail artist whom was working on my toes) that she is in a rush and cannot finish my nails since she has another lady coming in soon. She quickly left my hands alone for Julie to finish it after Julie was done with my toes. And though this incident happened over a month ago, I felt inclined to leave this review because my nails are so thin, weak and break easily now. They have not been the same ever since. I will never go back here again. read more

I had high hopes going into my appointment from the reviews and people I know that go. I was beyond disappointed in my nails and hid them for pictures while on my vacation. I kept asking for them to fix Mickey and it never worked. The nails were sloppy and I will never go back. They charged a lot for nails I absolutely hated. read more

Ken is the best for acrylic nails! I highly recommend booking with him. My nails last at least 3 weeks! They have such pretty colors to chose from as well. I've also had a pedicure done here and that is also superior. I've tried many nail salons and this spot is by far my favorite. Pedicures start at $35 Acrylic fill I pay $45 before tip :) read more

Everyone is awesome. I would definitely suggest this place for your manicure and pedicure needs. Andie

I love this place!! It's beautiful and very clean and my nails are perfect every time! Jenn is fantastic and so is Tee!

First time here and just want to say Jenn did a fabulous job on my gel pedicure! I upgraded my massage with stones it was very thorough and relaxing. I get acrylic pedicure gel and the shape was *chef's kiss* extra square and symmetrical. Sometimes I have to hassle nail techs on the shape and reshaping etc. not this time. Sammy did it again! I'm not one to do designs and she kindly asked if I wanted anything. I told her I'm not usually into it, but if she could do something not too flashy/showy, she could surprise me. She got excited and was up for the task. I was not disappointed!! I fell in love with it instantly! She brings great input and opinions which I appreciate since I can never decide on what colors to choose from. Seriously my new fav salon! read more

I've been going to Princess Nails for quite a few years and have always had wonderful service. Mani-pedi's are well done and everyone who has done my nails have been really good and professional. My only complaint from today is that the salon is very hot. It was 90 degrees today and the door was open, but I was in the back of the shop. Hate to be petty, but it was really uncomfortable. read more

I've been coming to Julie since 2017! She always makes time for me and even stays late sometimes when I can come only late, after work. We do gel, acrylics and pedicure. She knows what I like and how I like it. And she always gives me her honest opinion! I always recommend Julie to everyone! She's the best Thanks Julie! read more

Pros: Wonderful service from Anna, Linh, and Tee (for acrylics). Would schedule with them again in a heartbeat! Appreciated the location (ample parking, close to boba), service from the ladies listed (genuinely nice, great detail work, not rough), that I could tip through Venmo, and interior decor (clean, chairs looked newer). Cons: can't put tip on the card (even though I called and confirmed with the owner that I could), and another attendant (that helped a friend) was impatient, pushy and not overall great. She expected, and asked, for a 20% tip which was off putting. I will reschedule with any of the 3 ladies noted above if I return, but wouldn't stay if I get anyone else. read more

I waited to do a review because I was kinda iffy on how I felt I left my original nail salon because it was always a issue with availability granted this place does always have enough staff so you can get a appointment anytime , I felt the customer service was iffy you can tell they cater to long term customers which is fine but all customers should be greeted the same , I recommend you pay cash cause cash has less fees .... I do recommend the new hire BEE for service he's attentive , detailed and takes his times , unsure if they were rushing him but I felt it was standard timing for 1.5hr gel pedi and gel manicure esp while paying extra for aromatherapy pedicure which is $78 alone with gel ...... I will continue coming , after about 6/7 time's returning I feel more comfortable I'm becoming a regular --- todays service for aromatherapy pedicure and reg manicure with gel paid cash was about $118 not including tip //// parking is always available as well , nice clean place with cute decor read more

I have been going to Julie for over 2 years now and highly recommend her work. Acrylics, gel or natural shes great at them all, I've cycled between all of them depending on my mood. Acrylics are not done thick and very glossy and pretty. She cares about the condition of your nails. Her pedicures are amazing and my feet always turn out flawless and last over a month! I even trust her to wax my brows, and she gave me tips on where to grow in where I was plucking before to give a better shape. Communication and making appts with her is so easy and she will even text you to check in. read more

Hi Bennie, I can't tell you how surprised I was to see your response to my review from 2018. I am happy to hear the salon is under new management, and I wish you all the best. It shows a lot of professionalism to reach back out to an unhappy customer, especially one that was handled by the past management. I have a hunch you will be very successful and have lots of happy customers in the future. I will definitely give you another visit when I am in the San Ramon area. read more

Great technicians and service. Lynn does a fabulous job, accommodating to your needs and fast! Definitely recommend her.

As salons re-opened, I was so excited to get back to regular self care with Julie (she's the best! Though everyone in the salon is great!) I have been consistently impressed with the level of cleanliness and the extent to which safety precautions are followed. Distance and separation between work stations, staff all in masks and face shields, hand sanitizing and temperature checks before you enter. All guests are required to wear masks. This is the most COVID-19 protected salon I've seen (and heard about - friends who have also returned for regular nail care at other salons cannot believe the lengths to which the staff here consistently keep themselves and guests safe and as protected as possible during appointments!) Thank you, Princess Nails, for continuing to offer such a high standard of care and client satisfaction during such strange times! I love being able to prioritize my self care in such a clean, safe environment! read more

I have been going to Ann at Princess Nails for several years. My 85 year old mom also has her nails done by Ann when she comes to visit. Ann and the other nail technicians are kind and professional. I also like the convenient location of the shop: next door to restaurants, CVS, Safeway, etc. read more

This is the second time coming here and I am very impressed with their services! It's really cute inside, decorated nicely, with lots of space. They have a good selection of nail colors, and trendy styles. The staff asks you questions and makes sure you're happy with the style and color you chose before continuing! They have a unicorn chrome powder that I've used for my last two manicures, which turned out amazing! My pedicure was done well too! I'll definitely be returning! read more

They are a nice, normal, regular nail salon. Nothing exceptional and nothing bad. The manacurists do a good job and They have my preferred brand of polish. The ambiance is a bit too bright but whatever. This is one of the places I go now because it's close by. read more

It was my first time visiting Princess Nails and they were willing to get me in, I did not realize it was appointment based. I wanted to get a gel-pedicure and came in on a summer Monday so it was not too crowded. I had prior gel nails that I needed to be removed and wanted to get white this time. I was super comfortable the whole time and the staff was very kind. The inside was really cute and felt more high end than other places I have been. I will say the prices are higher as I ended up paying $65 for my gel pedicure. I have gotten the same, if not better pedicures for $40. read more

They were able to take an appointment quickly, but I'm not happy with my nails $89 later. - As I was getting my nails filed, the tech literally stopped to file another employee's nail with the same drill. The fact that she did it in front of me & went right back to my nails, that's so unnerving and unsanitary. - The dip is really thick & uneven in some places, I'm worried about the cuticle line when they grow out. - For my pedicure, I don't even think the lady filed my big toe... they've got a jagged uneven look (maybe the polish job?) - The place had flies ALL over, it was really gross. I don't want to be swatting flies as I'm getting a foot massage lol. read more

*** please read before you make an appointment ** I really wanted to give this place 5 star because Di (owner) is really talented , but to pay for pedicure and new set (correction) $220 is unacceptable! I went there for manicure and pedicure 3 days ago and my nail chipped the next day so I called and requested to get new set by the owner and she really did an amazing job, but upon leaving I mentioned I paid already 3 days ago and this is correction and her response was I gave you $10 off and it still costed me $110 for a new acrylic set that doesn't include the tip. This was by far worst experience I've ever had and I will never be back! Please double check prices before you make an appointment and be aware of the time because I spent 7hrs at this place in total. read more

Came here for a full due to the price ($20 for a regular full), I didn't really expect too much. The acrylics could have been a little bit more smooth and thick, but it wasn't too bad, and the polish could've covered a bit more of my nails. Julie was very friendly and when I asked her to fix one of the nails, she didn't mind at all. I will most likely come back but next time will do a new set. read more
