When we got to the counter to order, the two ladies there both greeted us, although one was taking someone else's order. When my mom and I said we were gluten free, she had every answer we needed. Sauces, putting hush puppies on the side, no bread. Excellent job! We would have sat outside, but all of those tables were filled. We did get a table inside for the four of us. Packed inside too. They brought our food out to us when it was ready. With it being packed for Father's Day, 20-25 minutes wasn't that bad. The two sandwich eaters devoured their sandwiches and sides. The two meat platter had just the right amount of proteins and sides. Pulled pork is often my go to, but the brisket was divine on Sunday! I didn't know there were at least four kinds of beans available in the side but yum! The Green beans were solid, cooked in/with butter. Upon finishing our delicious lunch we went across the parking lot to the creamery. They had vegan options so I got one vanilla and one chocolate. The cookies and cream wasn't gluten free so I am unable to comment on that vegan option. Very smooth. An awesome finish to an excellent Father's Day lunch. Great atmosphere. Great staff. Great food. One of my favorite barbecue spots!

We stopped in for a very early lunch (11:30 am) on a Saturday and while the place was fairly empty it was quite early! The space is beautiful! The wood floors, exposed beams and beautiful brickwork inside make it beautifully rustic. The staff is friendly and outgoing and we loved being able to sit and chat and really relax for lunch. While they have a small bar style menu I hate the food better than your average bar food. We started with the loaded fries for an appetizer and they were delicious. The chili is not at all spicy so it doesn't overpower anything. I also like the cheese sauce they used as it was not spicy either. While I do love spice it's much easier to share an appetizer that isn't overly spicy with others. Let's face it some spices can really turn on a person ; so it was great not to have that either! My husband and I each had burgers and loved them. He had a Bacon Cheese burger with the prettiest lettuce and tomato on it. He said it was one of the best burgers he's had -- and he is Uber picky about his burgers! I myself had a burger patty with Swiss and griddled mushrooms and it was perfect. Oh and their fries - out of this world! Thicker than a fair fry but not greasy at all and they had cooked them just right. I found myself eating more of them than I should have (trying to cut carbs). My daughter had the barnyard flatbread but had no onions on it and she is hooked. It had BBQ, bacon and pork. She brought over half of it home and it was still good reheated the next day, too! We had all of that and they had Cokes and we ate for about $50 before tip. It was worth it and we will be back and bring others!

They ranged from sweet to boozy. It was a nice variety that offered something for everyone. For dinner I tried the crab crusted salmon. It was a good pairing, but the salmon without the crab left something to be desired. The Chophouse offers a vegan/vegetarian menu, but you do have to ask for it. One of the featured items on that menu was the ratatouille. It was fantastic and I would certainly recommend it. For sides I greatly enjoyed the Caesar salad, which was not too fishy, and the whipped Yukons were a delight. Large parties can be a challenge, but regardless I found the service to be a bit inconsistent. Though always friendly, we had to remind our server of items that we had asked for on more than one occasion. Near the end of the meal it seemed that the bussers were pushing for us to wrap things up and get out, despite not having been there for a terribly long time. We were asked multiple times if certain items could be cleared while we were still eating them. They just didn't seem to have a good feel for this. There certainly were some strong dishes and I wouldn't hesitate to go again, though it would be on a special occasion as they are certainly not cheap.

I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and it was very good. Brioche bun, pickles bacon, hot sauce this was one good sandwich. Had a nice amount of heat but not crazy hot (jalapeños is about my max heat level). My wife had a chicken salad with a nice amount of chicken on it. She was happy and we would both come back; isn't that the most important question for a restaurant? Give Big D's a try.
