Would you want to eat a table pickle? Very bizarre, didn't even feel like a real interaction! Context clues & critical thinking are key. Lack of quality service and mediocre food is disappointing. I understand that coffee can sit for a while, especially during slower periods, but this is a coffee shop. Serving fresh, decent coffee should be the bare minimum. A few simple changes could make a huge difference. Keep a small whiteboard indicating when the coffee was last brewed, use smaller dispensers so it doesn't sit for hours, or offer ONLY French press or pour-over options later in the day when demand slows down. Staffing also seems to be an issue. They really need more people working behind the counter and in the kitchen. If that's not feasible, perhaps simplifying the menu would help the staff keep up with demand without sacrificing quality. It's a shame because the atmosphere is charming and the people working there are genuinely lovely. I wouldn't normally give a business such a low rating, but when you call yourself a coffee shop, the coffee really needs to be good. I hope they make some improvements because the place has so much potential.

Very cozy little restaurant located in a small strip plaza. Great wait staff. The coffee was outstanding and the food did not disappoint. My wife had biscuits and gravy with crispy potatoes and bacon. I had the goetta with eggs and rye toast. When they say crispy potatoes, they mean crispy. And the goetta was both plentiful and flavorful. We will be back very very soon.
