My chili was not quite hot enough, but our very friendly and efficient server graciously took it back and brought back a nice hot bowl of chili for me. The TVs are usually on news or sports and are loud and annoying. For the price and quality of the food, the TVs need to go. The wait staff is kind and friendly. However, in the multiple times we have been there, we have expressed to our waitress the need for gluten free options. Our regular response is that "they don't offer that." Please know this is NOT a cheap place to have a meal. Even a conversation with the chef would be helpful to those with dietary allergies, like my husband who is Celiac. The bathrooms are moderate. They are often sub par and in need of attention in both the men's and woman's restrooms. We will be back, but only as our budget and food allergies allow.

A nice day trip and the two highlights are Castaway Craig's and sitting at the nice, clean beach across the street. Castaway Craig's has a great vacation vibe in the summer where you should sit outside under their beautifully built pavilion and take in the lake view while you enjoy from their menu. My go-to is their Cuban fare. I highly recommend the Chicken or Pork Mojo. The plate was arranged with Cuban rice, black beans and a nicely grilled boneless and skinless chicken breast, sliced. To the side was fried plantain. It comes with a side salad and the lettuce and tomatoes are very fresh. Apparently, the owner or chef (?) had a grandmother who was Cuban so you know the food is authentic. Of course, the menu has all the American fare, too. Check it out! A wonderful meal that I had to take half of it home to enjoy later the next day as there is plenty for two to three meals. Where else in this part of Ohio are you going to get Cuban food with all the wonderful spices while you sit outside enjoying a lake view? All the servers have been great, too!
