Stopped in here for breakfast on a Friday morning. Had 2 eggs, sausage, and homefries. Absolutely delicious, inexpensive, and the server was super friendly as well. Great diner vibes read more

Jack's Nestegg Diner - a plate of breakfast food - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Warren, Ohio

Food was okay, service was good. Restaurant definitely needs a face lift. I was told to get the Jack omelette, which would be my recommendation to anyone who wants to try the place, but one visit was enough for me. read more

Best damn omelet ever...wish hours were like they used to be...unfortunately every thing changes with generations...

So far service is very friendly and attentive. Coffee is good old Maxwell house. Food was inexpensive. Looks old outside but stop in the food was great the atmosphere friendly relaxed and the decor was great for a diner family owned business. We will stop back if we get the chance. read more

Yes the food is good but you will be waiting for a bit but the food will be hot win it come to your table

Ok, bad news first...1)Coffee tasted like bad gas station version and after waiting 5 minutes, I decided to get up and get it myself. 2) bacon had a funny after taste, didn't eat it. 3) not very clean. Good news... 1) cute, homey and prices were good. I liked the ambiance, was transported to 1970's in Mayberry. 2)Eggs and toast were decent and home fries were good. Yelp, really got this one wrong though. I would keep driving... read more

Where do I even start. Jack nor the server had on a facemask to prevent the spread of Covid. It was the dirtiest diner I've ever seen.Yelp really let me down this time! The food was good but I felt like a homeless person eating in this dive read more

I wish I could give a place 10 stars.... Is is a very small diner that is literally mom and pop.... I don't know why their omelets taste better than anywhere I've ever been but they do... and they are huge! Do yourself a favor and go here you won't regret it.... read more

If you are going here for the first time, don't be afraid. I was too...my first time. I wouldn't classify this place as a diner, drive-in, or a dive. It's a hole-in-the-wall. But jeeze-oh-man do they have good omelets. They have other stuff on the menu, but you have to get an omelet here. And this is coming from a guy who all but despises breakfast food. I don't know how Jack does it, but he gets the egg part of the omelet so thin it's almost not even there....and it is LOADED with the stuff inside. I'm pretty picky, so I get my omelet with bacon, sausage, mushrooms, breakfast potatoes (home fries), and cheese. Splash some hot sauce on that sucker, and you're in hog heaven. The place is very small, and only accepts cash. Letter grade: B + read more

Giving this a solid 2 stars only because my nephews and brother in law like this joint. But this place is filthy and not sure why the health department doesn't shut this joint down. We refer to this place as the Ptomaine Palace. I guess at 2 a.m. after a night of drinking, it tastes yummy. read more

I used to go here all the time as a kid. Great inlets especially the Big Jack. I don't know if they do takeout but the small diner has a nice cozy feel to it. Good food but they have different hours. read more

Best omelet of all time: the Jack. Yep better omelet than San Diego's famous Hash House A-Go-Go. Better than George's Grill in Shreveport, LA. Great breakfast potatoes and more than you can eat in one sitting. Wonderful little diner in Warren Ohio. Jack is a keeper - and he serves up some darn good breakfasts and coffee. read more

Don't judge this book by its cover! This place is notorious for their gigantor omelets, in fact I was ridiculed once by a close friend for even considering getting anything but an omelet. You can get a "big Jack" omelet or a "little jack". I get a little jack and it's enough to feed me twice. read more

Came here due to the reviews. Don't expect normal restaurant digs... feels homey though. Not sure what all the cans of Wesson oil were for, assuming the great taste of the omelette. read more

I'm with Chris D. -- Highly over rated, Not very clean and service was very slow even thought there were not many customers. Likely because we wanted a "Little Jack" without meat or cheese so it was "special order". Been there, done that - won't be back. read more

Amazing as usual... Simply the best omelette you'll ever eat. A little Warren fun place staple that if you haven't you must try. read more

The best omelettes Warren has to offer, if you get a chance and you will see exactly what im saying. Its very nostalgia and takes me back to my childhood. All breakfast food there is great, but the OMELET is where its at!! read more

Jack's Nestegg Diner - Jacks diagonal from the University of Larchmont Sports Bar and Grill - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Warren, Ohio

Fantastic little diner. Food is made to order on an old flat top. Atmosphere is very casual and laid-back in the customer service is friendly and courteous. Great off the beaten path eatery when in Warren. read more

We eat here every Saturday. The staff is always fun to talk to and the food is always delicious. We love coming here every weekend and spending a few hours there. Wait times can be long but it's worth it! read more

Ali stole my access to write this: While its a bit out of the way, This is the place to come for breakfast for sure. The little jack (two egg omelette with ham sausage peppers onions hash fries and cheese) is huge! But very delicious. Definitely worth the few extra miles. Plus, everything you order is cooked right in front of you, think a diner with an almost hibachi feel in closeness. Service was super friendly and just amazing. If there was a sixth star, this place earned it for sure!!! read more

What a find! Park your truck on the side or in front and enter a time warp to a classic eggs on the grill spot . . . The Jack is huge and the Little Jack is only a little less huge . . . good coffee, pleasant folks . . . staff and customers read more

When it comes to breakfast you can't beat Jack's. I reccomend the Jack or little Jack for the kids. Definitely a nice little surprise in an otherwise quiet street. People who come by at night may have to deal with people from the bat across the street but for day time customers like me it's no problem. read more

This place kicks ass... Jack and Norma make you feel right at home and prepare the meals right before your eyes. I got the fish sandwich (Lenten reasons) but the locals rave about the jack omelet. read more

Kickass breakfasts. I remember in my drinking days going there lay on weekends slamming a little jack omelet . Best drunk food, lol. The place really needs some work on the inside tho. It's like having a great breakfast in a old garage , lol. read more

Did this place close? We went for breakfast today around 10:30 and the building looked abandoned and the doors were locked.

Family owned...love it ..I grew up in warren a small country town and this is ware it's at the big jack you can't beat it especially for the price....and you can't eat it all in one setting...the best greasy spoon in town. read more

Great omelette. Just get the Jack and don't mess with it, you won't be sorry, or hungry!

If you're looking for breakfast food, namely an omelet, you must go here. Their hours favor the bar/3rd shift crowd but go there at 3am and you'll be in line for a hour. I suggest you call ahead and order due to the limited number of seats inside. You won't regret trying it. read more

Great little spot for breakfast food! Prices are unbelievably cheap, and the food is pretty good. The service can be somewhat slow when they are busy, but you will get that anywhere you go! The portions are ginormous, so make sure you go hungry! read more

I assume the bar across the street must serve very strong drinks because no sober person could ever give this place five stars. It is a greasy spoon with the owner scratches her butt while she cooks your cheeseburger on a grill that looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a decade. Still, if you are drunk enough, and the health department doesn't shut them down, you can get an omelette big enough to foil man versus food. read more

Jack's or Greasy spoon has been around for as long as I can remember. My dad enjoyed going there and started taking my kids there. The Little Jack omelette can feed probably 3 small kids. The Big Jack is more than enough if you want to have it later on. Love going to either eat there or take it home. It definitely a memory that you will enjoy keeping once you go and will go back again. read more
