So far service is very friendly and attentive. Coffee is good old Maxwell house. Food was inexpensive. Looks old outside but stop in the food was great the atmosphere friendly relaxed and the decor was great for a diner family owned business. We will stop back if we get the chance. read more

Ok, bad news first...1)Coffee tasted like bad gas station version and after waiting 5 minutes, I decided to get up and get it myself. 2) bacon had a funny after taste, didn't eat it. 3) not very clean. I wish I could give a place 10 stars.... Is is a very small diner that is literally mom and pop.... I don't know why their omelets taste better than anywhere I've ever been but they do... and they are huge! Do yourself a favor and go here you won't regret it.... read more

If you are going here for the first time, don't be afraid. I was too...my first time. I wouldn't classify this place as a diner, drive-in, or a dive. It's a hole-in-the-wall. But jeeze-oh-man do they have good omelets. They have other stuff on the menu, but you have to get an omelet here. And this is coming from a guy who all but despises breakfast food. I don't know how Jack does it, but he gets the egg part of the omelet so thin it's almost not even there....and it is LOADED with the stuff inside. I'm pretty picky, so I get my omelet with bacon, sausage, mushrooms, breakfast potatoes (home fries), and cheese. Splash some hot sauce on that sucker, and you're in hog heaven. Giving this a solid 2 stars only because my nephews and brother in law like this joint. But this place is filthy and not sure why the health department doesn't shut this joint down. Don't judge this book by its cover! This place is notorious for their gigantor omelets, in fact I was ridiculed once by a close friend for even considering getting anything but an omelet. You can get a "big Jack" omelet or a "little jack". I get a little jack and it's enough to feed me twice. read more

When it comes to breakfast you can't beat Jack's. I reccomend the Jack or little Jack for the kids. Definitely a nice little surprise in an otherwise quiet street. People who come by at night may have to deal with people from the bat across the street but for day time customers like me it's no problem. read more

The little jack (two egg omelette with ham sausage peppers onions hash fries and cheese) is huge! But very delicious. Definitely worth the few extra miles. Plus, everything you order is cooked right in front of you, think a diner with an almost hibachi feel in closeness. Service was super friendly and just amazing. I assume the bar across the street must serve very strong drinks because no sober person could ever give this place five stars. It is a greasy spoon with the owner scratches her butt while she cooks your cheeseburger on a grill that looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a decade. Jack's or Greasy spoon has been around for as long as I can remember. My dad enjoyed going there and started taking my kids there. The Little Jack omelette can feed probably 3 small kids. The Big Jack is more than enough if you want to have it later on. Love going to either eat there or take it home.
